NEW VIDEO DROP: AOMG - "Upside Down" - Jay Park, Simon Dominic, Loco & GRAY & their Inspirational Message

Positive vibes to inspire a generation. The message from AOMG's Jay Park, Simon Dominic, Loco and GRAY for their new hip-hop song "Upside Down" is for people to "push behind negative thoughts," and "flip it upside down."

The four artists dropped their new music video and single on May 1st. It's a collaboration with Cass Beer. The visual spirals the images of the four artists upside down during the video. It was directed by Sing J. Lee, who also directed Migos' "Stir Fry" music video.


According to a Wikitree interview, (transcribed on Twitter by @theJ_Effect), GRAY said the song's message is to "turn negative thoughts, preconceptions, and prejudices over and think positively."

Simon D said he "wrote in the lyrics that people feel a lot of pressure before doing something. So think that nobody is seeing you, and ignore all those expectations about you and you won't have any burdens and it will be fine."

In the same transcribed Wikitree interview, Jay Park said; "I think my life itself has turned upside down. I tried to overturn my thoughts and mind, whenever I thought I would have a hard time. When others were suspicious, I had to endeavor to overturn their thoughts too."

Loco in the interview said the experience of working with his labelmates was fresh, because when they first started out, they worked out of one studio. But now times have changed.

The track "Upside Down" has Jay Park, Simon Dominic, Loco and GRAY on a pretty tight beat. You can purchase it on iTunes.  It was produced by GRAY, who uploaded his process of making the music on Instagram, six days before the song's release.

A wild Battle of the Bands (Simmons College vs. Kentucky State) during this year's Roots and Heritage festival parade in Lexington

Bigger crowds for the 2024 Roots and Heritage Parade and Battle of the Bands in Lexington, Kentucky. The parade started earlier than usual, at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 7, but still hundreds of people lined the streets to see local organizations along with Bryan Station High school, Central High School, Simmons College of Kentucky and Kentucky State University march down the road.   The Parade on Saturday began on Fourth Street and Elm Tree Lane, turned right onto ML King, right onto Fifth Street, right onto Race Street, right onto Third Street and ended on Elm Tree Lane The parade was followed by a wild and exciting Battle of the Bands and band performances. It was held outside the historic Lyric Theatre on East Third Street and Elm Tree Lane.  The festival started with an African American marketplace on Friday and wrapped with a gospel celebration on Sunday.  Check out the parade and bands below.

NOW LISTENING TO: Jay Park's “Everything You Wanted”

Korean-American hip-hop and R&B artist Jay Park, dropped his 4th full album "Everything You Wanted," online on October 19. It includes 19 songs, including "Feature," a sexy bedroom talk track featuring the seductive voice of AOMG producer and long time friend Cha Cha Malone. Jay Park sings on it "this is going to be your favorite song," and it just might be. The album shows Park's vocal range as an R&B artist, and is easy listening for anyone in love, or who wants to be loved, but might make those who are lonely, feel heart-broken. Park also released the official music video for “Drive,” a track on the album, with producer Gray, which stars Bora from Sistar, and looks like it was shot from a resort location. Australian singer William Singe is bringing the heat and heartbreak in a new single and visual titled-- "Love You Like Me."  The alt-R&B track hit streaming sites on September 6. South Korean reggae artist SKULL, has released a new album titled "SAJAH." The LP dropped on June 14, along with a music video for one of its tracks --"YE YE YE YO" (featuring SUPERBEE). The visual shows scenes from Kingston, Jamaica and Seoul, South Korea. SKULL had also previously released another visual for the album -  Fosho  on June 7th, (featuring KOONTA, MION and VIGORMAN).

A lot happened during the final stop of the 2018 H1GHR MUSIC tour. The Seattle, WA concert included performances of unreleased tracks, a b-boy dance break from AOM, a music video shoot in the middle of the venue, and a surprise appearance from label co-CEO Jay Park. Fans still have questions about ECÂF after the release of Ruel's new single & MV - "Face To Face"

The vocal EDM artist is known for his skill with synthesizers, and is a member of the South Korean indie rock band, The KOXX (which formed in 2009). The Spanish lyrics are explicit when translated into English, but this Latin Trap remix is so alluring, that you just can't help but to groove to it. Hip-hop artist Khea, from Argentina, dropped his "Loca" remix video featuring Bad Bunny, Duki and Cazzu back in April, and it currently has more than 173-million views on YouTube. The track, with its repetitive beat is about a "crazy" woman on social media, but towards the end of it, we hear the seductive female response from Argentine rapper Cazzu.
