NEW VIDEO DROP: AOMG - "Upside Down" - Jay Park, Simon Dominic, Loco & GRAY & their Inspirational Message

Positive vibes to inspire a generation. The message from AOMG's Jay Park, Simon Dominic, Loco and GRAY for their new hip-hop song "Upside Down" is for people to "push behind negative thoughts," and "flip it upside down."

The four artists dropped their new music video and single on May 1st. It's a collaboration with Cass Beer. The visual spirals the images of the four artists upside down during the video. It was directed by Sing J. Lee, who also directed Migos' "Stir Fry" music video.


According to a Wikitree interview, (transcribed on Twitter by @theJ_Effect), GRAY said the song's message is to "turn negative thoughts, preconceptions, and prejudices over and think positively."

Simon D said he "wrote in the lyrics that people feel a lot of pressure before doing something. So think that nobody is seeing you, and ignore all those expectations about you and you won't have any burdens and it will be fine."

In the same transcribed Wikitree interview, Jay Park said; "I think my life itself has turned upside down. I tried to overturn my thoughts and mind, whenever I thought I would have a hard time. When others were suspicious, I had to endeavor to overturn their thoughts too."

Loco in the interview said the experience of working with his labelmates was fresh, because when they first started out, they worked out of one studio. But now times have changed.

The track "Upside Down" has Jay Park, Simon Dominic, Loco and GRAY on a pretty tight beat. You can purchase it on iTunes.  It was produced by GRAY, who uploaded his process of making the music on Instagram, six days before the song's release.

MOVES OF THE DAY: Super Junior's Wine Dance to the beat of "Lo Siento"

It was the Chilean wine that got them dancing out in an open field. On May 3, kpop group Super Junior uploaded a fun video to social media, of the guys moving to their new hit song "Lo Siento," with each member in the frame, dancing with a glass of wine in hand. The hashtag under the post says Chile. The idols were in Santiago, Chile on April 24, as part of the Latin America leg of their Super Show 7 world tour. The video of them dancing (perhaps a little tipsy too) has gone viral, with more than 200,000 likes on Instagram, and more than 273,000 views on Facebook, with more than 11,000 shares. Super Junior is under the Korean company S.M. Entertainment, and formed in 2005. The handsome men, now in their 30s, are well past the legal drinking age in any country. Rapper Dok2 talks about working with Jay Park and G-Dragon (from BIGBANG) in Ep. 31 of "Fun With Dumb"

Illionaire Records co-founder Dok2 is a pioneer in the South Korean hip-hop industry, but he rarely gives interviews. Lucky for fans, the rapper sat down on two separate occasions recently to talk about his life and the rise of hip-hop in South Korea. The first interview was for the March 7th face to face with rapper Snacky Chan for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod."   The second was for American rapper Dumbfoundead's March 20th (ep. 31) podcast of "Fun With Dumb." During the podcast, Dok2 provided a mini-history lesson for anyone interested in South Korean hip-hop. Beginning with his early rise, the rapper says he's been making moves in the industry since 2002 when he was 12-years-old. Up and coming New York rapper Lil Tjay released the visual for his song "Hold On" on October 15. The flashy video takes a dramatic turn with a flashback to a year in the past. Jay Park Announces new H1GHR MUSIC Artist - Seo Donghyun a.k.a. Big Naughty

During the second and final day of his 2019  Off Route Fest in South Korea, co-CEO/entertainer Jay Park announced the newest member of his second label- H1GHR MUSIC, as rapper/singer Seo Donghyun a.k.a. Big Naughty. Park introduced the young artist on stage, on Oct. 6, in front of a crowd of thousands of people at the music festival, and later posted video of the moment to Instagram. According to Park, Donghyun is now the youngest member of the label (previously that title went to rapper Haon). Big Naughty was a contestant on season eight of the popular South Korean rap competition program - Show Me The Money (SMTM). He was eliminated in the semi-finals. Jay Park Adds and Interacts With Fans on Instagram Live Before Hawaii Concert

Social media is allowing fans and artists to interact with each other like never before. While in a room in Hawaii, on Sunday, April 1, singer/rapper/co-CEO Jay Park, discovered a feature during his Instagram Live stream, which allowed him to add and connect with fans, for 'one on one' time, but in front of thousands of people peering in. Jay Park was in Hawaii for a concert, with Hoody and pH-1 happening later that night.  At almost five minutes into his livestream, we hear the Roc Nation artist say, "I've never done this before." Crush Drops New MV ("Be By My Side") With Earth, Wind & Fire Sample

Korean R&B singer Crush, has dropped his latest music video. It's called "Be By My Side," and it samples the soul, disco and funk band Earth, Wind & Fire. According to the description under the upload on the Amoeba Culture official YouTube Channel, Crush received permission to use the "Brazilian Rhyme" sample. "내 편이 돼줘 (be by my side)" contains elements from "Brazilian Rhyme (Interlude)" written by Maurice White. Published by EMI April Music Inc. Used by permission. All rights reserved. Worth Watching: "Bleach" - A Live-Action Anime Adaptation Movie on Netflix

by Nefertiti Jenkins Looking for something to watch this weekend? Check out "Bleach," a live-action anime adaptation film, that just recently hit Netflix with English subtitles. It's based on the manga and anime series of the same name. The acting is good, and the action is great. Even if you're not familiar with the series, you'll still enjoy the movie. According to the official synopsis, the film is about... Ichigo Kurosaki, a High School student, living in Karakura. He is able to see ghosts, as well as hollows. And he meets up with Rukia Kuchiki, a Soul Reaper (or Shinigami in Japanese).  Check out the trailer below, and stream "Bleach" on Netflix.

Showing her vocal range as an R&B artist, singer Kiana Ledé released "Take It All" on July 13, as one of seven songs on her new EP "Selfless." "Take It All" stands out on the mini album. The mostly acoustic track connects on an emotional level of maturity, which makes it today's Song of The Day. The 21-year-old artist has been active since she was a child, after winning a  Kidz Bop's Kidz Star USA talent competition in 2011.
