Song of The Day: Dok2 - "1LLOGIC" (Feat. Chancellor)

On March 28, for his 28th birthday, Dok2 from Illionaire Records dropped two new tracks, "1LLOGIC" featuring R&B singer Chancellor, and "Straight Up" featuring DJ Wegun from AOMG and Keem Hyo-Eun (from Dok2's sub-label, Ambition). Both songs from the double release are really good.  The music is available now on Google Play, Spotify and iTunes. "1LLOGIC" is today's Song of The Day. It begins with vocals from Chancellor sounding like Usher.  Chancellor sings in English and Korean, and Dok2 gives us melodic rap, also in English and Korean. The song is about how hard they work, and can put you in a laid back, chill mood. Recognize me, you know where I be. Hunnit on my wrist baby. Listen to both tracks on Spotify here. NEW VIDEO DROP: Reddy - "Thanksgiving" feat. Paloalto & Huckleberry P (with English and Korean subtitles)

by Nefertiti Jenkins    Reddy from Hi-Lite Records seems to be a spiritual guy. The rapper dropped his music video for his latest track, "Thanksgiving," on March 27. The black and white stylish visual is captioned with English and Korean subtitles, and is a must watch, even if you've already been rocking with the single, since it was released back on March 22nd. The beat is tight, and the song features Hi-Lite founder Paloalto (who jokingly takes a crack at G2), and label mate Huckleberry P, spitting fire with him. But it's the first verse, that brings you in, especially if you're a person of faith... Monday through Sunday, time flies so quickly. I been keeping busy, almost done with this album too. Go to church on Sunday with my family, our prayers have become a reality. Dad doesn't need to work now, so I pay my tithes gratefully. Overflowing Thanksgiving R-E-D-D-Y. The video was directed by Allen’s Eyes, and translated by Changstarr. Check it o

Dance Moves of The Day: NCT U - Taeyong & Ten - "Baby Don't Stop" Dance Practice

Taeyong and Ten, two of the members from the kpop sub-group NCT U, have swag and a lot of it at that. Most of their fans already knew this, but for newcomers, the dance practice video released by SM Entertainment in South Korea, confirms it. The visual in the official video for "Baby Don't Stop," was already a heart stopper. But now, inside a dance studio, for the dance practice video, Taeyong and Ten make their hard, smooth and sexy hip-hop moves with quick hand and footwork, look even sexier. The choreography is really good, and the song itself is pretty tight. The dance practice (below) was released on March 16, and has over one million views. The official music video for "Baby Don't Stop," was released on February 26 and has over 11 million views. NCT U has been a kpop favorite since its debut back in 2016, with its urban hip-hop style and beat for the single and mv "The 7th Sense." ***"Baby Don't Stop" is a single from

New Video Drop (Review): H1GHR MUSIC's - WOOGIE - "ROLLING STONES" (Feat. Car, the Garden)

Taking us back to the 70s with a vintage movie themed visual, H1GHR MUSIC producer Woogie, has released his new music video and single "Rolling Stones," which is from the upcoming EP, "Rewind My Tape part 1." The video, featuring singer 'Car, the Garden' was uploaded to the H1GHR MUSIC YouTube channel on March 18. And even before you watch it... one look at the artwork released for the track, and you're immediately reminded of Rolling Stone Magazine, and if you're old enough to remember, the Rolling Stones rock band (both got their name from a 1950s song by Muddy Waters, titled Rollin' Stone). And then, there's the 1972 remake by The Temptations (of a single from The Undisputed Truth) called "Papa Was a Rollin' Stone." But getting past the history and nostalgia of the title, the video begins with a man who looks like he could've been on the set of "That '70s Show," as he takes you further back in time, w

Actually the name for his social media site is called Locostagram, and he croons on it... Even though you've been silent for a week now, there's a question mark attached... I'm waiting for you. I'm waiting for you... I'm so busy trying to continuously interpret the same photo... You like Sik-K have you heard "No where?" You like Jay Park, have you heard my album? At 2:56 in, Jay Park pulls out a mic, gets up from a chair, grabs a bottle of alcohol, and softly at first sings.. I'm waiting for your post, I'm waiting for your reply... I feel that yeah, I feel that yeah. Next Park, breaks it down with some old school high note R&B sound, befor

The music video is from the hip-hop track "Airplane," and comes with English subtitles. As we reported previously, the song is about J-Hope, looking back at how far he's come. The video itself shows J-Hope looking suave and cool as he raps... I remember myself back in that moment. When the barren land burned me down. I ran looking at the blue sky. Wanted to fly, in that airplane. The lyrics seem pretty personal, with the 24-year-old describing his dreams, which include flying to different destinations. J-Hope's previous video drop, "Daydream," was trending in the top ten within hours after its release on YouTube on March 1. It's gotten over 24-million views thus far. Could J-HOPE's "Hope World" Be The Best Mixtape of 2018?

by Nefertiti Jenkins BTS rapper J-Hope has dropped his first mixtape, and a music video ( "Daydream" ) to go with it.  The visual is currently trending in the top ten on YouTube. In less than twelve hours, it's gotten more than 9 million views. J-Hope is also currently trending on Twitter, and maybe it's because he's also a dancer... but the mixtape itself, with seven tracks (in Korean and some English) is worth dancing to.   Dropped on March 1 (or March 2, KST), "Hope World" gives BTS fans a side we don't always get to see from J-Hope. Known for being sweet and goofy, his lyrics go deep with some old school hip-hop beats, and could be on its way to being one of the best mixtapes of 2018.   This is the first solo album for J-Hope (fellow BTS rappers RM and Suga have each previously dropped mixtapes).  The tracks for "Hope World" take us up and down on a J-Hope vibe. Here's our take on the songs... 1. "Hope
