Singer Babylon shows why he's still one of the kings of R&B in South Korea with new album - "MOOD"

South Korean singer Babylon continues to show he's all about keeping the sexy vibes. The crooner dropped his latest album -- "MOOD" on December 7, featuring 19 tracks of slow tempos and explicit lyrics.  The album includes previously released songs from his 2021 project "Hardy," and new tracks with freaky features, including from well-known KPOP star, BOBBY from iKON. Crowd goes wild for Jack Harlow at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky

Rapper Jack Harlow wrapped his 6-city  No Place Like Home Tour across his home state of Kentucky on Sunday, December 3, performing to a near sold out crowd at Rupp Arena in Lexington. It was the final stop of his tour and his first time performing at Rupp. Lexington bleeds blue for the University of Kentucky Wildcats, but fans turned out in full force in support of the Louisville native, who makes no secret of his love for the University of Louisville Cardinals. The schools may be rivals, but it was all love for the "First Class" star, except when he proclaimed his love for Louisville, causing the crowd in return to boo.  Harlow though showed his appreciation for the Lexington crowd by bringing out local legends: his music mentors Ky Engineerin’ and Nemo Achida, as well as former UK basketball player Tyler Herro, who now plays for the Miami Heat. After a dramatic open, Jay Park focuses on dance in visual for new single "Why"

Fans of Jay Park know he's a skilled dancer. He's been showcasing his moves since before his days as the leader of the K-pop group 2PM in 2008. Now after founding AOMG, H1ghr Music, MORE VISION and Won Soju, the Korean American entertainer is highlighting dance in his new visual for his new song "Why," and the dance challenges that have come from it. South African singer-songwriter Tyla is one of the hottest rising stars of 2023. She's currently taking over social media with her TikTok viral dance challenge from her latest single- “Water.” The song hit streaming sites in July. The official music video arrived on YouTube on October 6. It's currently (as of this writing) trending #26 on the site with nearly 13 million views.  According to Billboard, “Water” has also climbed to #1 on Billboard’s U.S. Afrobeats Songs Chart, dated Oct. 21-- stopping the record 58-week streak from Rema and Selena Gomez’s “Calm Down,” which had led the list since Sept. 10, 2022. “Water” marks Tyla's first top spot on any Billboard chart.  The 21-year-old Johannesburg native debuted with her first music video: "Getting Late," featuring Kooldrink in 2021. New Music: A.CHAL - "Numb The Pain"

Peruvian-American singer A.CHAL (Alejandro Chal Salazar) is working through his emotions in his new single "Numb The Pain". The artist dropped his new song and the official music video for it on October 13.  On social media A.CHAL says the visual was shot in Huanchaco, Trujillo, Peru. He says as a child he remembers living there on the sand in a small hut. The singer says the song itself was recorded in Paris. BTS singer Jung Kook teams up with Kentucky rapper Jack Harlow for new single "3D"

Singer Jung Kook is back with another high-profile collaboration. The artist is a member of the Korean boy band BTS. He dropped his newest single "3D," featuring Kentucky rapper Jack Harlow, on September 29.  This is the first joint venture between Jung Kook and Jack Harlow. It follows Jung Kook's collaboration with Latto for his song "Seven," which dropped on July 14. It also follows Harlow's release of his April 2023 album "Jackman," and the announcement of his upcoming "No Place Like Home" tour.  In the song "3D," Harlow promises to fly someone from "Korea to Kentucky." This year was different: 2023 Lexington, KY Roots & Heritage Festival Parade, Band Performances & Fashion Show

Showcasing Kentucky's African American culture and traditions, the 2023 Lexington, KY Roots & Heritage Festival kicked off Friday night, September 8, with live performances on the main stage on Elm Tree Lane.  It continued Saturday morning with the annual parade and band performances. It included Simmons College (an HBCU) and Central High School marching bands from Louisville.  The "Battle of the Bands" after the parade was moved from the corner of Fourth street and Elm Tree Lane to Third Street and Elm Tree Lane, near the historic Lyric Theatre. New this year, a fashion show outside the theater. The show included pieces from up-and-coming local designers. The festival wrapped on Sunday, September 10. Thousands of people attended the weekend event.

Jack Harlow says the only tour he's going on for the rest of 2023 is in Kentucky

Kentucky native Jack Harlow announced the return of his  No Place Like Home  tour back in August. The tour includes stops in six Kentucky cities. Taking his third annual hometown shows to a new level, the new leg of the tour will kick off on Friday, November 24 at Owensboro Sports Center in Owensboro, and will wrap in Lexington at Rupp Arena on Sunday, December 3. On social media, Harlow posted that it's the only tour he's going on this year. Tickets are on sale now through Ticketmaster. Harlow is from Louisville and performed last in his hometown in December. He just dropped the official music video for his song "Denver" on August 30. The song is from his latest album: "Jackman." The only tour I’m going on this year. Jay Park shows his soulful side during NPR Tiny Desk Concert

Artist Jay Park has still got it. Surrounded by a band and a small chorus, Park croons with smooth falsetto vocals, hitting high notes while seducing R&B fans during a soulful NPR Tiny Desk (Home) Concert from Seoul, South Korea. The performance hit YouTube on May 26.  Jay Park on Instagram said he prepared hard in the middle of his busy schedule. He performed his 2015 song "Sex Trip" live for the first time, and slowed down his fan favored twerk anthem - "Mommae." The concert follows the release of his new single "Candy," which hit streaming sites on May 23. CODE KUNST drops new music featuring Tabber, Jay Park, Yerin Baek & WENDY- "Archive 01"

As a pre-release from his upcoming album, South Korean producer CODE KUNST rolled out two new songs on Wednesday, March 8. "Archive 01" includes a sultry "55," featuring Yerin Baek and WENDY.  It also includes the song "BAD BAD," featuring Tabber and Jay Park. Record label AOMG says the full album-- CODE KUNST's fifth LP--- "Remember Archive" drops on Thursday, March 16.
