H1GHR MUSIC Tour Recap - The Final Stop - With Jay Park In Seattle

A lot happened during the final stop of the 2018 H1GHR MUSIC tour. The Seattle, WA concert included performances of unreleased tracks, a b-boy dance break from AOM, a music video shoot in the middle of the venue, and a surprise appearance from label co-CEO Jay Park. It all went down at The Showbox on May 8th.

The night started with DJ RocRyte pumping up the crowd for Ted Park, who hit the stage with melodic energy.  Woodie Gochild delivered next with "Let's Get It," -- dancing and spitting fire, even during Jay Park's verse.  Phe Reds followed, captivating everyone with a mesmerizing version of Blackstreet's "No Diggity" and his hit song "Smile." And then there was Raz Simone, who jumped into the audience to perform a complete crowd immersion of "Only One," a Jay Park release in which he's featured on.

When co-CEO Cha Cha Malone hit the stage, the crowd went crazy for their favorite producer, who's known for his beats ("I need a Cha Cha beat boy"). He can really sing, and he rocked the crowd with unreleased music, which he says (on Instagram) will be dropping sometime this summer.

Following sets from Jarv Dee, Avatar Darko, and pH-1, Jay Park ran up on the stage while Sik-K and pH-1 were performing "Iffy." And after sending the audience into a frenzy, he announced that they were going to shoot a music video.

Later Jay returned to the stage, with his crew, for "All I Wanna Do," and Ted Park's "Hands In The Air," as well as for an already fan favorite-- his unreleased song "Soju."

Seattle was Jay Park's only appearance during the 2018 H1GHR MUSIC tour, which started on April 26th in Chicago, IL, and ended in Seattle as the sixth and final stop. Seattle happens to be the hometown of the CEOs, as well as most of the artists on the tour for the label. The others are from South Korea (with the exception of Ted Park, who is from Wisconsin).

For anyone who did not get a chance to see H1GHR MUSIC live on stage, you really missed out. All the musicians put on a great show, but you can still support this rising label. Most of the artists from it, say they will be dropping new music sometime soon.
