NEW VIDEO DROP: (BTS') - V Seduces with R&B "Singularity" for "Love Yourself: Tear" Comeback Trailer
It's amazing what music can do to you. On May 6, Big Hit Entertainment uploaded a very sexy music video trailer for the upcoming album, "Love Yourself: Tear," featuring V, from kpop group BTS. The name of the track for the tease is "Singularity," in which V seduces viewers with 90s inspired R&B. It's sung in Korean, but has English subtitles. The video is below.
After seeing the video, anyone older than 25, may be hitting the internet, to check out the age of the young musician with the raspy voice singing about losing himself, while he dances (with a coat hanger and some masks at times). But it's not only the dancing that draws you in (even though he seems to be channeling Usher or Rain), but it's also the slow tempo and beat of the song that hypnotizes you. This is pure R&B, rhythm and blues, a genre (according to some) that's been slowly disappearing in the United States, because of melodic hip-hop.
Online it shows that V (Kim Tae-hyung), turned 22-years-old on December 30. You can catch him live in concert with the rest of the members of BTS for their "Love Yourself" World Tour, which kicks off in South Korea in August, and hits North America on September 5. The album "Love Yourself: Tear" will drop on May 18, which is two days before BTS performs at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards on May 20th.
