NEW MUSIC DROP: "Back For More" Remix - Justine Skye & Jay Park

In the middle of the afternoon (EST), on Tuesday, May 15, Jay Park true to his word, dropped a remix of Justine Skye's "Back For More." The day before, he tweeted on Twitter that if he got 3,000 retweets, then he would release the track. Well excited fans gave him more than 8,000 retweets. But still he wasn't able to drop the remix just yet. The Roc Nation artist said on Twitter that he had to get permission or get clearance to upload the collaboration, and thus the release nearly 24 hours later (check out the audio above).
The original version of "Back For More," came out in 2017, and features singer Jeremih. It's been a huge hit for the Roc Nation labelmate Justine Skye, and gets plenty of airtime on Urban radio.

Back in January, Jay Park posted on Instagram, a picture he took with the singer/model. Hopefully fans will get to hear this new collab of the two on the radio soon, because this remix, with Park's smooth vocals is hot.

A wild Battle of the Bands (Simmons College vs. Kentucky State) during this year's Roots and Heritage festival parade in Lexington

Bigger crowds for the 2024 Roots and Heritage Parade and Battle of the Bands in Lexington, Kentucky. The parade started earlier than usual, at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 7, but still hundreds of people lined the streets to see local organizations along with Bryan Station High school, Central High School, Simmons College of Kentucky and Kentucky State University march down the road.   The Parade on Saturday began on Fourth Street and Elm Tree Lane, turned right onto ML King, right onto Fifth Street, right onto Race Street, right onto Third Street and ended on Elm Tree Lane The parade was followed by a wild and exciting Battle of the Bands and band performances. It was held outside the historic Lyric Theatre on East Third Street and Elm Tree Lane.  The festival started with an African American marketplace on Friday and wrapped with a gospel celebration on Sunday.  Check out the parade and bands below.

NOW LISTENING TO: Jay Park's “Everything You Wanted”

Korean-American hip-hop and R&B artist Jay Park, dropped his 4th full album "Everything You Wanted," online on October 19. It includes 19 songs, including "Feature," a sexy bedroom talk track featuring the seductive voice of AOMG producer and long time friend Cha Cha Malone. Jay Park sings on it "this is going to be your favorite song," and it just might be. The album shows Park's vocal range as an R&B artist, and is easy listening for anyone in love, or who wants to be loved, but might make those who are lonely, feel heart-broken. Park also released the official music video for “Drive,” a track on the album, with producer Gray, which stars Bora from Sistar, and looks like it was shot from a resort location. "Drive" is a great date pick me up, for Korean listeners. NEW MUSIC & MV: William Singe - "Love You Like Me"

Australian singer William Singe is bringing the heat and heartbreak in a new single and visual titled-- "Love You Like Me."  The alt-R&B track hit streaming sites on September 6. The former member of the boy band  The Collective , known for his online covers, dropped his debut song "Rush" back in 2017. Check out his new music and video below.

New Album Drop: SKULL - "SAJAH" with "YE YE YE YO" MV (feat. SUPERBEE)

South Korean reggae artist SKULL, has released a new album titled "SAJAH." The LP dropped on June 14, along with a music video for one of its tracks --"YE YE YE YO" (featuring SUPERBEE). The visual shows scenes from Kingston, Jamaica and Seoul, South Korea. SKULL had also previously released another visual for the album -  Fosho  on June 7th, (featuring KOONTA, MION and VIGORMAN).

H1GHR MUSIC Tour Recap - The Final Stop - With Jay Park In Seattle

A lot happened during the final stop of the 2018 H1GHR MUSIC tour. The Seattle, WA concert included performances of unreleased tracks, a b-boy dance break from AOM, a music video shoot in the middle of the venue, and a surprise appearance from label co-CEO Jay Park. It all went down at The Showbox on May 8th. The night started with DJ RocRyte pumping up the crowd for Ted Park, who hit the stage with melodic energy.  Woodie Gochild delivered next with "Let's Get It," -- dancing and spitting fire, even during Jay Park's verse.  Phe Reds followed, captivating everyone with a mesmerizing version of Blackstreet's "No Diggity" and his hit song "Smile." Jay Park Performs English Version of "Yacht" For "24 Hours of Reality"

Jay Park has premiered the full English version of his song "Yacht." The singer performed it for the first time on Dec. 5, on former U.S. Vice President Al Gore's "24 Hours of Reality." The program streams live every year scientists, business leaders and celebrities talking about "the climate crisis." This is the second year, for Jay Park to lend his voice and talent to the program. Fans still have questions about ECÂF after the release of Ruel's new single & MV - "Face To Face"

(Updated September 10) - Ruel has dropped the Behind The Scenes video for "Face To Face." On Sept. 10, he revealed that the actress portraying ECÂF in the music video and on Twitter, is named Tatiana. And the person who sings the vocals for her single release, "Pictures," is actually Ruel's sister Coco. Original Post (08/11/19) ... H1GHR MUSIC fans have more questions after label drops compilation single - "BRB"

H1GHR MUSIC returned with a new compilation single and visual on July 27. The title for the new song-- "BRB," is an acronym for "Be Right Back." The track produced by GroovyRoom and Cha Cha Malone, includes arstists HAON, Sik-K, TRADE L, BIG Naughty, pH-1, PARK HYEON JIN, JAY B and Jay Park.  The song includes the lyrics: "We'll meet again after looking around" and "H1GHR gang, no label, issa la familia." Fans are commenting under the official music video for the song, saying the lyrics are sad and appear to suggest an ending or hiatus.  The new release comes just days after rapper pH-1 deleted his posts on Instagram and after H1GHR MUSIC announced the departures of rapper Sik-K and GOT7 singer JAY B, after the expiration of their contracts. Sik-K had been with the label since its founding, while JAY B had been with H1GHR for just a year.  The South Korean label was founded by Jay Park and Cha Cha Malone in 2017.   Looking for a new summer jam? Check out DJ SHAUN's electric dance track, "Thinking Of" featuring rapper OVAN and singer SUMIN. The single is the title track off his first solo mini album, "TAKE." The vocal EDM artist is known for his skill with synthesizers, and is a member of the South Korean indie rock band, The KOXX (which formed in 2009). SHAUN's EP dropped on June 27, along with a music video for "Thinking Of (생각나)." The mv features two beautiful women enjoying themselves at the beach and elsewhere, and also includes OVAN on the mic.
