Jay Park Uploads His Epic "Sway In The Morning" Freestyle To His YouTube Channel

The way it went down left fans, and people who had never heard of him proud. On May 23, hip-hop artist Jay Park, appeared on "Sway In The Morning," a weekday morning show on Eminem's Shade 45 SiriusXM channel. Hosted by Sway (Calloway), Jay Park was there to promote his May 25 midnight (EST) release of "SOJU," featuring 2 Chainz. The track "SOJU" (inspired by a popular alcoholic beverage in South Korea) is off his upcoming album with Roc Nation. It's his first release for the label, since signing with them in 2017.

During his interview (one of several recently), Park answered questions about b-boying, kpop, BTS, cultural appropriation, tattoos and the relationship between South and North Korea. He also explained why he created his second label, H1GHR MUSIC, after creating AOMG (he says he did so for contractual reasons). And he also announced (unintentionally) that his new album (with Roc Nation), "Ask 'Bout Me," will be out on July 20.

The interview was uploaded to "Sway's Universe" YouTube channel hours after it had taken place, and includes an epic freestyle from Jay Park, spitting fire over a DJ Premier beat. On May 24, the international entertainer, Jay Park, uploaded the freestyle to his YouTube channel, which will make it easier for his fans to find. He's already gotten a huge positive response from people from around the world, for the "Sway In The Morning" appearance, and on Twitter, he has thanked fans for the "support and encouragement," with a link to the YouTube upload, saying everyone got him "feeling great." A wild Battle of the Bands (Simmons College vs. Kentucky State) during this year's Roots and Heritage festival parade in Lexington

Bigger crowds for the 2024 Roots and Heritage Parade and Battle of the Bands in Lexington, Kentucky. The parade started earlier than usual, at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 7, but still hundreds of people lined the streets to see local organizations along with Bryan Station High school, Central High School, Simmons College of Kentucky and Kentucky State University march down the road. The Parade on Saturday began on Fourth Street and Elm Tree Lane, turned right onto ML King, right onto Fifth Street, right onto Race Street, right onto Third Street and ended on Elm Tree Lane The parade was followed by a wild and exciting Battle of the Bands and band performances. It was held outside the historic Lyric Theatre on East Third Street and Elm Tree Lane. The festival started with an African American marketplace on Friday and wrapped with a gospel celebration on Sunday. Check out the parade and bands below.

Korean-American hip-hop and R&B artist Jay Park, dropped his 4th full album "Everything You Wanted," online on October 19. It includes 19 songs, including "Feature," a sexy bedroom talk track featuring the seductive voice of AOMG producer and long time friend Cha Cha Malone. Australian singer William Singe is bringing the heat and heartbreak in a new single and visual titled-- "Love You Like Me." The alt-R&B track hit streaming sites on September 6. New Album Drop: SKULL - "SAJAH" with "YE YE YE YO" MV (feat. SUPERBEE)

South Korean reggae artist SKULL, has released a new album titled "SAJAH." The LP dropped on June 14, along with a music video for one of its tracks --"YE YE YE YO" (featuring SUPERBEE). The visual shows scenes from Kingston, Jamaica and Seoul, South Korea. SKULL had also previously released another visual for the album - Fosho on June 7th, (featuring KOONTA, MION and VIGORMAN).

H1GHR MUSIC fans have more questions after label drops compilation single - "BRB"

H1GHR MUSIC returned with a new compilation single and visual on July 27. The title for the new song-- "BRB," is an acronym for "Be Right Back." The track produced by GroovyRoom and Cha Cha Malone, includes arstists HAON, Sik-K, TRADE L, BIG Naughty, pH-1, PARK HYEON JIN, JAY B and Jay Park. The song includes the lyrics: "We'll meet again after looking around" and "H1GHR gang, no label, issa la familia." Fans are commenting under the official music video for the song, saying the lyrics are sad and appear to suggest an ending or hiatus. The new release comes just days after rapper pH-1 deleted his posts on Instagram and after H1GHR MUSIC announced the departures of rapper Sik-K and GOT7 singer JAY B, after the expiration of their contracts.
