Mural of Rapper Dumbfoundead Vandalized

The iconic mural of rapper Dumbfoundead painted on the side of Catalina Liquor in Koreatown in Los Angeles, has been vandalized-- that's according to a social media post from the artist. A picture of the vandalism, shows letters spray painted across it. On July 16th, Dumbfoundead thanked painter Joseph Yun Lee and Catalina Liquor on Instagram for "wanting to keep the mural up as long as they did."  The mural was originally painted for the rapper's 2016 music video "Murals," a visual off his "We Might Die" album. Last year, he tweeted that he was getting a least one tagged photo a day from fans who had taken a picture in front of it. Dumbfoundead is now asking fans to send pictures or videos they had taken in front of the mural to muralsforever@gmail.com or tag him, so he can use the images in a video. New Video Drop: Kobel's new Visual for breakup song "나는 아직도" featuring Michelle Nam

South Korean rising singer/rapper Kobel, has just dropped a new visual on YouTube. The title "나는 아직도" is in Korean, and Google translates it to "I still." The song, in Korean and English, has a slow tempo beat, as Kobel and Michelle Nam sing "say it ain't so," about breaking up and letting go. The young artist uploaded the track to SoundCloud eight months ago. The video, directed by Choi Jong Hyun and Jung Tae Whang, was shot at Soyouhwa Flower Shop & Cafe and was released on August 6th. Kobel is relatively new to the music scene. He dropped his debut music video back on June 2nd, for the track "Don't Hit My Line."   On July 27, he posted on Instagram, that he's become a member of Poison Holyc-- "a crew with all kinds of dope artists" who will be making music "in all kinds of genres." NEW MUSIC DROP: Shotta Spence Returns With New Song - "ELEVATION"

It's been two years since Spence Lee, a.k.a. Shotta Spence, dropped his debut album "Upfall," showing his skills as a passionate hip-hop artist and storyteller. Now the New Jersey rapper is back with new music. Shotta Spence dropped his track "ELEVATION" on SoundCloud on July 30. Produced by (Tha WeaPoN) Frank Knuckles and official Mitchy, the song flows melodically as he raps about recovering from setbacks, and sings "Elevation is the only thing we're chasing." "ELEVATION" follows the release of his September 2017 single "Word of Mouth." Check out the new music now down below. CONCERT WATCH: Ella Mai - "Boo'd Up" Tour

The song "Boo'd Up," has that old school, R&B vibe, that when played, makes you want to grab a partner to slow grind with.  It's currently No. 6, on the Billboard Hot 100, and the singer behind the throwback sounding track, Ella Mai, will soon be performing her hit, live in concert, across the U.S. and Canada. On June 13, the crooner from London, England, released dates for a summer tour. Her first stop is Dallas, TX on August 6th. And then she moves on to Houston, Atlanta, and at least a dozen more cities. Tickets go on sale, Friday, June 15. You can find more information at www.ellamai.com .

NEW VIDEO DROP: Kris Wu Releases Beautiful MV for -- "Tian Di"

Melodic hip-hop rapper Kris Wu, is delivering up a beautifully shot cinematic official music video for his new track "Tian Di," which dropped on YouTube on June 11. In the description box, it says the visual, was directed by the artist himself. The mv opens with Kris dressed in traditional clothing, in the middle of a bamboo forest. The actual track for it, was released in Asia, on June 6. Kris Wu, the former EXO, kpop boy band member, originally from China, but raised in Canada -- gained stardom in South Korea, and is now signed with  Universal Music Group . In May, under UMG, he debuted the single and mv for  "Like That" in English, which now has more than 13 million views. The new single, "Tian Di" is in Chinese. Online resources show that Tian means heaven and Di means earth. Check out the new mv below. The Newest Member of AOMG - CODE KUNST - Drops Emotional Track & MV - "Rain Bird" feat. Tablo & Colde

Former HIGHGRND Producer, Code Kunst, is now the newest member of AOMG -- the Korean hip-hop (and R&B) label run by Jay Park and Simon Dominic.  AOMG revealed the news to fans on June 10, with the release of Code Kunst's new single and music video, "Rain Bird," featuring his former YG Entertainment- HIGHGRND sub-labelmates, Tablo (of Epik High) and Colde (from offonoff). HIGHGRND was founded by Tablo in 2015. He stepped down from his position in 2017. According to Soompi magazine, HIGHGRND is now a part of YG Entertainment’s subsidiary, YGX, with BIGBANG’s Seungri as the CEO. Colde is now with WAVY. New Video Drop: The Flavr Blue - "365" - feat. Jay Park & Cha Cha Malone

"365" -- The Flavr Blue track featuring Jay Park and (produced by) Cha Cha Malone, originally dropped seven months ago, in October of 2017. In the official music video, out on June 6, The Flavr Blue is showing, just exactly how you can move forward, if you want to, after a breakup. The Flavr Blue wrote on Instagram, that their song "is about celebrating your independence." And as they sing on the track's electric soulful beat, with Jay Park, viewers get to see how Jay deals with a breakup, as he hits the club with H1GHR MUSIC label partner Cha Cha Malone, and two members of The Flavr Blue trio, Lace Cadence and Parker Joe, before checking out the third member of the group, at the club, Hollis Wong-Wear. Avatar Darko Officially Signs With H1GHR MUSIC

Seattle Rapper Avatar Darko, has officially signed with hip-hop label H1GHR MUSIC. The CEOs, Jay Park and Cha Cha Malone, posted the official video on June 5th, to social media of Avatar signing the contract, and receiving his H1GHR MUSIC gold chain.  The new signee is fresh off a U.S. tour with his H1GHR MUSIC labelmates (which wrapped on May 8th in Seattle). He also hit the stage with them back in March, for South by Southwest. NEW MUSIC DROP: Jarv Dee "Foreign Xchange" feat. Sik-K

Back in March (of 2018), Seattle rapper Jarv Dee , shared video on Instagram from a club in South Korea, where he was rocking the mic to his hit song "Smoke 2 Much," (from The Red Eye Jedi album). Korean fans at the joint seemed to love it, as they got hyped to his hip-hop vibe. Jarv Dee (who is also a part of Seattle's music crew Moor Gang), was in South Korea, spending time with his H1GHR MUSIC label mates, and tagging several of them on Instagram, including trap artist Sik-K.  Since then, he's hit the stage at South by Southwest (in Austin, TX) and traveled across the U.S. on tour with H1GHR MUSIC .  And now that that's a wrap, he's dropping new music. "Foreign Xchange" featuring Sik-K (and produced by PHYNXXX), was released on May 30th.
