Hot New Music Drop: Michael Brun & Kah-Lo - "Spice"

A spicy new song, with dancing peppers, to get you moving for the weekend. DJ/producer Michael Brun has teamed up with Nigerian singer Kah-Lo, for a new dance track called "Spice." Out on Friday, August 31-- Brun wrote (on YouTube) that he went back to the 90s for this one. Brun, originally from Port-au-Prince, Haiti, is known for blending EDM styles like progressive house with influences that honor his Haitian roots. Check out the new audio below. Hi everyone. NEW R&B with a sexy video from Maikel Delacalle - "LATINOAMERICANA" featuring Alizzz

by Nefertiti Jenkins A new sexy R&B music video from Spanish melodic hip-hop rapper-singer Maikel Delacalle. The visual for the track "LATINOAMERICANA" featuring Alizzz, hit YouTube on August 30. It focuses on a beautiful sultry woman. This is just the latest in a string of recent soulful hits for the Latin Urban artist from San Isidro (Tenerife), Spain. Delacalle featured on Argentine hip-hop artist Cazzu's seductive number  "Puedo Ser," which dropped on August 16 and has more than five million views. He also released a reggaeton single "Jaque Mate" featuring Justin Quiles, on July 13, which now has more than seven million views on YouTube. 'Panda Express' panda accepts BTS' J-Hope's #IdolChallenge

by Nefertiti Jenkins Days after BTS dropped its record breaking music video "IDOL," J-Hope, one of the artists from the kpop group, issued an #IdolChallenge to the world on social media, of the choreography from the visual. Fans (ARMY) from all over, have answered the challenge, from eager teens, to families with little kids, and entertainers, including the rest of the members from BTS. But now a panda. Fast food restaurant chain 'Panda Express' with locations across the U.S., tweeted on Twitter video of its panda mascot dancing the challenge on August 30th. BTS liked it, and it's gotten thousands of retweets, more likes and views. BTS' music video "IDOL" dropped on August 24, and beats Taylor Swift's "Look What You Made Me Do," for the biggest YouTube debut with more than 45-million views in its first 24 hours. NEW MUSIC & MV DROP: Part Time Cooks' trippy visual for new song "California Butterfly" featuring Jay Park

You see a lot of weird stuff in the latest music video from hip-hop duo Part Time Cooks. "California Butterfly" featuring Jay Park, dropped late on August 29 (EST). The trippy retro video for the new track features the two PTC rappers, Saul Goode and Black Moss, rapping/singing in Korean, Zulu and English on hamburgers, pizza and animated animals, and shows Park as a Lego. The video ends with Goode and Moss as Lego men as well.  There's even a rocket and a car in outer space. The YouTube video is below, and the song is streaming now on online platforms, which also includes a Tokyo Space Mix. Part Time Cooks is based in South Korea with label VMC (Vismajor Company). Black Moss is from South Africa and Saul Goode is from North Carolina. Jay Park, from Seattle and Seoul, is the co-CEO of H1GHR MUSIC and CEO of AOMG . He signed with Roc Nation in mid 2017, and dropped his U.S. debut EP for the label, "Ask Bout Me" last month on July 20. 2018.

NEW MUSIC DROP: South Korean singer Jhnovr - new emotional R&B track - "조금만 더" on repeat

by Nefertiti Jenkins With vocals on a hypnotic percussion beat and lyrics mostly in Korean and some English, R&B/hip-hop singer Jhnovr dropped a mesmerizing track on the Wedaplugg Records YouTube channel on August 29. The Korean title "조금만 더" translates to "Little Bit More" on Google, and we hear the Lowland crew member croon with raw emotions, the question in English, "How do you feel about me?" South Korean R&B - NEW MUSIC DROP: Marilyn Monderland - "LOVE"

South Korean R&B collective Marilyn Monderland, has just released a six-track soulful EP titled "LOVE." The mini album is the first part of Marilyn Monderland's compilation album series "L.H.E.A." The team consist of Holymoley!, HOLYNN, Brix, Yelloasis, JUNNY and WOOGs. Check out a preview of their new music below. New Video Drop: JINBO - "You Just Have To"

South Korean R&B singer JINBO, may have built his ideal woman as an AI robot, in his latest music video. The SuperFreakRecords' artist released the mv for "You Just Have To" on August 28, and you may have to watch it a couple of times, to get the plot twist. The visual comes after the August 14 release of his music video "So To Speak," with Crush and Hoody, which honors Kim SungJae, a member of the '90s duo DEUX, who died a suspicious death after his solo debut. JINBO's new music video was directed by 725, and has a sexy-tragic storyline. The song produced by Nounou Paris, was written by JINBO the SuperFreak himself. New Music & MV Drop: GREE - "DOVES"

South Korean artist GREE from BRANDNEW MUSIC, has dropped an intense fast-paced auto-tuned track with a lot of bass. "DOVES" was released on August 26 with an official music video, and the song is a hip-hop head-banger. The video for it, is fascinating. It features a beautiful lyrical dancer moving to a pulsating beat to Gree's flow inside a home, until she reaches the second (or third) floor, where the camera shifts focus to Gree in sunglasses and a robe. Formerly MC Gree, the 19-year-old rapper changed his stage name recently to just Gree. According to his label, "DOVES" is a new starting point for his music. Check it out below.

New Music Drop: Jessie Reyez - "Body Count" Remix featuring Normani & Kehlani

by Nefertiti Jenkins   Two powerful singers have hopped on the remix of Jessie Reyez's "Body Count." The remix featuring R&B artists Normani and Kehlani dropped on August 23. The original was released back in May with a music video on YouTube, and it's all about female empowerment. With lyrics by the raspy soulful singer as: "We don't need no one trying to take our freedom. Time won't let you stay young. So we don't care what they say, we going love who we want to love." Los Angeles R&B singer Justin Park, has just dropped a breezy single. His "SUMMER SHXT" track was released on August 23.  The official music video for the song, directed and shot by Johnson Diep, shows off Park's smooth moves and vocals. Check out the mv below. NEW MUSIC & MV DROP: Woodie Gochild breaks out the dance moves in "Cotton Candy" visual with MAMAMOO's Hwasa for new album #GOCHILD

The new visual from H1GHR MUSIC's South Korean trap artist Woodie Gochild, includes a feature from Hwasa of (kpop girl group) MAMAMOO. Hwasa has previously collaborated with AOMG's Loco, for a sexy duet called "Don't." On the new music video from Woodie Gochild, "Cotton Candy," it's Gochild who keeps the spotlight when he breaks out his dance moves, doing (at one point) what looks like the Gwara Gwara , a South African dance. The mv is part of the August 24 release of the singer/rapper's first mini album #GOCHILD, which includes eight tracks, with several pre-releases including "Let's Get It" (featuring Jay Park and Dok2), "Roll Cake" (feat. ZENE the ZILLA), and "Muse" (featuring Jay Park and Sik-K).

He dropped his latest soulful track "Broke" on August 6 with a fun lyric video on YouTube of the artist singing about his status in life to his girl from a couch. The single follows the release of "How Does It Feel?" back on May 31. The social conscious musician says on Twitter that new "things" are coming soon. NEW MUSIC DROP: Eddie Supa - "Love Again" Remix

Chicago artist Eddie Supa has dropped the first song off his upcoming project “Summer Feelz.” The track " Love Again " (remix) was uploaded to SoundCloud on August 22, and has a '90s R&B vibe. He says he remixed an unreleased song for this self-produced track. Stan Sono provided additional production and background vocals, along with DJ NoJutsu (of Lost In Kyoto) on saxophone. According to Supa, the EP is coming soon. There will be a listening party for it on August 25 in Chicago, followed by a live performance event. Details along with the new track are below. The solo artists from Planetarium Records have released a new two track R&B collaboration titled "Day : Off." The new music hit streaming platforms on August 22, with Jung Jin Woo and Gaho crooning (about missing someone) on the first track "Insomniac," and June, Moti and Villain delivering a mixture of soulful melodic hip-hop and R&B on the second track "Days." The artist released "TWENTY" featuring SHAUN on August 21 with an official music video on the 1theK YouTube channel. The visual was made for couples in love. H1GHR MUSIC's hip-hop artist pH-1 is all about the electro soul vibe in his latest releases produced by Thurxday. The entertainer dropped a funky synth double single titled "Loves" on August 20th on digital streaming platforms. It includes the tracks "Cupid" featuring PENOMECO (with an animated lyric official music video) and "Groupie" featuring Mokyo (aka Thurxday). by Nefertiti Jenkins Argentine Urban Latin hip-hop artist Cazzu is back with a sultry number. This time around she's with Spain's  Maikel Delacalle. Their track "Puedo Ser" dropped on Spotify on August 16 with a sexy music video also of the two, on YouTube.  "Puedo Ser" translates to "I can be" in English. Cazzu last dropped a single back in April, with her  "HELLO BITCHE$ REMIX" featuring Eladio Carrion. But she's also collaborated on a number of tracks with other artists, including Alex Rose's " Toda Remix " and Khea's " Loca " (including the remix).  Check out her new music video below.

Code Kunst - Drops New Music ("BLESS" featuring Loco & Woo Won Jae) ahead of the new season of 'Show Me The Money' where he'll be a Producer/Judge

South Korean producer CODE KUNST has teamed up with AOMG labelmates Loco and Woo Won Jae for a two track single release called "Bless." The new music dropped on August 16 on streaming sites and is his second release since signing on with the hip-hop/R&B label back on June 10. He arrived at AOMG after leaving YG Entertainment's sub-label HIGHGRND. The title track for "Bless" (under the same name) is laced with the producer's synth hip-hop beats and Woo Won Jae and Loco's signature rap flows. The two rappers both shot to fame before joining AOMG after taking top spots on the South Korean rap competition series Show Me The Money. Loco won the first season of the Mnet program in 2012 and also became one of the first artists to sign on to Jay Park's AOMG label (in 2012). He later returned to SMTM(4) in 2015 as a judge/producer with Park. Woo Won Jae participated in Show Me The Money 6 , where he finished in third place in mid 2017.  On Octo

H1GHR MUSIC's South Korean trap artist Woodie Gochild is all about the money in his new single "Roll Cake," featuring ZENE THE ZILLA. The track was released on August 15 with an official music video shot in Bangkok (Thailand). The mv has ZENE THE ZILLA literally making dough before handing a roll of bills to Woodie Gochild. You might get thirsty for a Coke after watching the new animated music video from South Korean hip-hop artist PENOMECO. "COCO BOTTLE" dropped on August 15. Directed by Studio Pivote, it has the animated FANXYCHILD crew member singing about a woman with a "coco bottle body" whom he meets at a party at the pool. At the party, his character is dressed in the same outfit PENOMECO actually wore himself, during his May performance on the music battle show "BREAKERS." Take a look at both videos down below.

CONCERT WATCH: Bruno Mars Adds New Opening Acts to '24K Magic World Tour' - Ella Mai, Ciara, Boyz II Men and Charlie Wilson

In a hilarious photoshopped Instagram video post on August 14, funk singer Bruno Mars announced a lineup of special guests to replace Cardi B on the final leg of the  24K Magic World Tour.  The decision to add the four new acts comes after Cardi B dropped out of the tour in late July after giving birth to her daughter. Hitting the stage at various points during the U.S. stops, will be Ciara, Ella Mai, Boyz II Men and Charlie Wilson. Each will perform as openers for a number of shows, beginning with Boyz II Men in Denver, Colorado on September 7th. New Video Drop: JINBO Releases "So To Speak" MV featuring Crush and Hoody in honor of South Korean artist who died a "suspicious death"

by Nefertiti Jenkins Korean R&B singer JINBO has dropped the video for his collaboration work with R&B singers Crush and Hoody. The mv for "So To Speak" was released on August 14 on YouTube. The track honors with a cover, a hip-hop icon (or first generation kpop idol) in South Korea, who died a suspicious death on November 20, 1995. Rapper/Singer Kim SungJae was a member of the '90s duo DEUX, and died after his solo debut performance on SBS. According to online reports, the 23-year-old went to a hotel after the performance with his girlfriend and crew, but was found dead the next day at the hotel with 28 needle marks on him. An autopsy found traces of an animal anesthetic, or animal stimulant in his body. According to online reports, his girlfriend was arrested for the alleged murder of Kim and was sentenced, but was acquitted due to the "lack of evidence." The case is considered an unsolved mystery. Concert Watch: ZICO - "King of The Zungle" Tour in Europe & The U.S.

South Korean Rapper Zico (from kpop group Block B) will be hitting the stage in Europe and the U.S. this fall. He'll be taking his "King Of the Zungle" Tour to Madrid, London, Berlin, Warsaw, Amsterdam and Moscow, after making stops in Tokyo in September. He'll also hit New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles. The cities and dates were announced on August 13 with a video on the YouTube channel for fan vote concert promoter MyMusicTaste . Although Zico is a member of a kpop group, he's also popular for his solo work and collaborations in the Korean hip-hop scene, including numerous hip-hop tracks and time as a producer/judge on the rap competition series Show Me The Money .
