NEW MUSIC DROP: Raz Simone - “Outta Bounds” with Jay Park on new album “Closer”

Lyricist Raz Simone is a compelling storyteller. The H1GHR MUSIC and Black Umbrella rapper from Seattle dropped his new album "Closer" on May 23. It's hard hitting, and includes the track "Outta Bounds," with an official music video, featuring Jay Park.

The Cinematic-like visuals for the mv, take you on a reflective look back at a spree of crime, which includes guns, dogs and money. The video, along with his flow is gritty, but real for a man of the streets.

Raz Simone writes on Instagram and Twitter that it's been two years since he's released a full album, and in addition to "Closer," he says he has more on the way, with "MULTIPLE albums lined up."

Ringing in the New Year with a solo release, rapper Saul Goode, of Part Time Cooks, dropped his debut solo album-- “Blue, an album by Ryan" on January 1. The lead single from the project-- "Juju," hit streaming sites with an official music video on YouTube. The song features MBA crew member Bola, his fellow collaborator on AOMG's 2019  SignHere audition TV show. NEW MUSIC: Planetarium Records / PLT - "IGOHOLIC"

Planetarium Records may not be dominating the charts right now, but the artists from the South Korean label have come out flexin, and right now, they are the ones to watch. PLT as a collective, dropped a new single with a music video, "IGOHOLIC," on September 17. The track is a trap release, featuring Jung JinWoo, Gaho, Moti, June and Villain; rapping in the visual from a helicopter hangar. With Villain's verse towards the end - "I think I'm an alcoholic. I'm whisky dialing you all day. I'll give you that workaholic. Stop working hard, it's your birthday." The new hip-hop music follows the R&B releases in August from the label, with "Insomniac," from Jung Jin Woo and Gaho. And "Days" from June, Moti and Villain. Concert Watch: Ozuna - AURA USA Tour 2018

Puerto Rican reggaeton singer Ozuna, is hitting the road this fall for an AURA USA Tour. The announcement comes after the release of Ozuna's new track and music video with Manuel Turizo, "Vaina Loca," which dropped on YouTube on June 28, and currently has more than 30-million views.  "Vaina Loca" is a single from Ozuna's upcoming album Aura , set to be released on August 24. The tour, starts in September in Atlanta, and hits at least 30 cities, including Lexington, KY in December. Tickets go on sale July 6, with Ticketmaster .

CONCERT WATCH: Planetarium Records (PLT) heading to Europe for first label tour - "WE GO HOLIC"

Last year was a big year for Planetarium Records. The South Korean hip-hop/R&B label released several collaboration mini-albums and singles (including the popular "IGOHOLIC" ), as well as individual debut EPs from its artists. Now PLT is sending its rappers and singers to Europe, for the label's first tour. Fans can check out Villain, Gaho, JUNE, Moti and Jung Jinwoo in Moscow, Madrid, Paris, Berlin and London next month. South Korean rapper Coogie drops new single as contract with AOMG expires

South Korean artist Coogie dropped his new single "1,2,3,4,5" on January 23, 2025--the same day record label AOMG announced its exclusive contract with the rapper had come to an end. Coogie signed with AOMG in 2022.  He was previously signed under hip-hop label ATMseoul. He became known for his sing-song melodic rap style after participating in the South Korean rap competition series Show Me The Money 777 in 2018.  The translation to AOMG's post on X reads... "Hello, this is AOMG. We would like to inform you that Coogie's exclusive contract has ended on January 23, 2025. Bruno Mars shares Behind the Scenes clip from the Making of "24K Magic"

Bruno Mars has shared a never before seen clip of the making of "24K Magic," the title track and lead single from his third studio album (of the same name). On June 27, the singer uploaded video on Twitter and Instagram, and wrote that he found it in his cell phone.  The video shows producer Brody Brown and Mars trying to figure out the groove for "24k Magic" in 2015. According to Bruno Mars, they tried nearly 100 different patterns and pockets to finally land what we hear today (a Zapp & Roger inspired track). R&B singer SOMA not holding back in new MV "Betty," off her first full-length album "SEIREN"

With explicit lyrics you normally don't hear from South Korean female artists, singer-songwriter SOMA shared her alt-R&B sultry track "Betty," with the release of an official music video for it on YouTube on March 2nd (EST). The song, in English and Korean, is off her first full-length album "SEIREN." Part A of the album dropped on streaming sites on March 3rd (KST). Part B releases on March 14. The new music is in celebration of SOMA's second anniversary of her debut EP "Somablu" with label Stoneship.

Fans still have questions about ECÂF after the release of Ruel's new single & MV - "Face To Face"

On Sept. 10, he revealed that the actress portraying ECÂF in the music video and on Twitter, is named Tatiana. Fans have been watching for South Korean singer MELOH ever since he hit the stage for AOMG's Signhere  audition TV show program in 2019 on MBN. While he didn't finish first, he did make it to the finals with his smooth vocals.  Fast forward to 2021, and MELOH is back with his first EP, titled "MELOH," and signed to the new hip-hop label-- Daytona Entertainment, founded by The Quiett and Yumdda. MELOH's new self-titled R&B mini-album hit streaming sites on January 2.
