Cha Cha Malone and Chase Henny return With New Hot Single - "Love You Now"

H1GHR MUSIC's Cha Cha Malone has again dropped another joint single with artist Chase Henny. The two released their latest melodic collaboration - "Love You Now" on streaming sites on December 11. The song follows the rollout of their track "Selfish," which hit music sites back in March. Check out their new release below.

YUMDDA's "Breathe 3," The First Project for New South Korean Hip-Hop Label Daytona Entertainment with The Quiett

Just days after announcing the formation of Daytona Entertainment with The Quiett, rapper Yumdda dropped the first project under the new label titled "Breathe 3." The album is part three of his "Breathe" album series, which began with part one in 2016 and part two in 2019. The new music vibes with the melodic flow that the South Korean artist is known for. It hit streaming sites on November 28, with a visual for the track "Hanadoo" featuring R&B singer Zion.T.  Yumdda and The Quiett introduced their Daytona Entertainment label two weeks after The Quiett dropped the final music for the now defunct (but still legendary) 1llionaire Records, the label he co-founded with Dok2 in 2011. The Quiett's double single project, "BENTLEY 2," featuring Yumdda, hit streaming sites on November 11. The announcement of their new label rolled out on November 25. New Music: Yayoi Daimon - "Rich or Dead" feat. Namichie

Yayoi Daimon is back with a new turn up. The Japanese artist dropped her latest song, "Rich or Dead," featuring Namichie on November 24. South Korean rapper Rohann dropped his latest music "LOVE, LIFE, OYE" on November 15, under Vismajor Company. The VMC artist spits hard and precise, on his new release which includes two tracks produced by Buggy -"OYE" featuring Don Mills and "LOVE, LIFE." The double single follows the release of his album "NEVERLAND," which dropped in May. Check out the new music below.

South Korean rapper The Quiett rides out in a Bentley in final 1LLIONAIRE RECORDS release - "BENTLEY 2"

With his laid-back 90s rap flow and braggadocious lyrics, rapper The Quiett is one of the smoothest artists in hip-hop. He is also the co-founder, with rapper Dok2, of one of the most influential record companies in South Korea. Both are part of a group of legends responsible for putting South Korean hip-hop on the map. Their label - 1LLIONAIRE RECORDS, was established in January 2011. They added rapper Beenzino later that year. In 2016, the two established a second label, of younger up-and-coming artists called Ambition Musik. The co-CEOs also toured the United States in 2016, and in 2017, putting on great high energy performances. INLet'sGo! caught their 2016 stop in Atlanta.  On November 11, 2020, The Quiett dropped his last double single under 1LLIONAIRE RECORDS, marking the last 1LLIONAIRE DAY (of new music drops), and the final project for the company. Hi-Lite Records' Rapper Paloalto Drops New Track- "ENERGY"

Days after hitting the stage with his Hi-Lite Records labelmates for a "Legacy" livestream concert , former CEO rapper, and founder of the company, Paloalto, dropped a new single on November 8, with a visual directed by SUSHIVISUAL, titled "ENERGY."  The artist wants 'positive energy.' Argentine Trap Rappers ECKO & Cazzu Drop New Collab - "Cama Vacia"

Ahead of his upcoming November 27 "Young Golden" EP, Argentine trap artist ECKO has teamed up with fellow Argentine rapper Cazzu, for a new track titled "Cama Vacia." The song hit streaming sites with a 'Bonnie and Clyde' inspired black-and-white visual on November 5. Check it out below.

Hip-Hop Fans Fall for MINO Again After New Album Drop - "TAKE"

South Korean rapper MINO first got on the radar for many hip-hop fans during the fourth season of rap competition series  Show Me The Money in 2015, when he proved himself as being more than just an idol artist. Song Min-ho is the main rapper for the k-pop group WINNER, and he earned respect in the rap game, after securing a place with Team ZiPal under rappers Zico and Paloalto, along with Ja Mezz, AndUp and One on SMTM4 . During the show he even managed to impress Snoop Dogg during a Cypher Mission round. MINO made it to the finals with his skills on the mic, and finished the series as the runner up. Several songs and performances from the show became huge hits for him, including the catchy and fun "Okey Dokey," with ZICO, and "Fear" featuring Taeyang from BIGBANG.  But it wasn't just MINO 's lyricism and flow, it was also his style, confidence, swagger and rhythmicality, which earned him recognition and admiration. Haitian DJ and record producer Michael Brun has teamed up once again with Benin native Afropop singer Shirazee for a new single titled "Love Me, Suffa." J.cob Returns With New R&B - "For You"

South Korean Bluesy Mansion singer J.cob gives us new R&B in his new single "For You," produced by Truman. The song hit streaming sites, under Dynasty Muzik, with a serene official music video on YouTube on October 9. On Instagram he says: "Thank you to all my fans who always support me." J.cob previously released a 5-track EP titled "COME PAST," back in March. Check out his new music and visual below.

Jay Park links up with Jay Loud for New Single and Visual - "Dior Socks"

Global megastar Jay Park teams up with up-and-coming fellow Seattle artist Jay Loud for a new single with a flashy visual, titled "Dior Socks." The new track hit streaming sites with the official music video on YouTube on October 7.  Park, who says he was wearing Dior socks when he recorded the song, is the CEO of two South Korean based hip-hop labels-- AOMG and H1GHR MUSIC. He was born and raised near Seattle, Washington. Meanwhile, Jay Loud is new to the Seattle area, after moving there from Indianapolis, Indiana. Loud dropped his debut album "Nap Town" in 2019. MIYACHI has an Animated Wild Night in Tokyo in "GOOD NIGHT ROPPONGI" feat. P-Lo

Chill Vibes from H1GHR MUSIC in Second Compilation Album - "H1GHR : BLUE TAPE"

The vibe is a bit more laid-back and groovy, on H1GHR MUSIC's second compilation album, "H1GHR : BLUE TAPE," which hit streaming sites on September 16. The first track, "Champagne Diet," sets it off with a smooth bounce featuring label CEO Jay Park, rapper 28AV, Gemini and pH-1. The entire project is easy listening, and more melodic than the popular first compilation drop, "H1GHR : RED TAPE," which rolled out on September 2, with a head banger of a song titled- "The Purge."  On "H1GHR : BLUE TAPE" one of the younger labelmates, rapper BIG Naughty gets a Woogie produced track to himself on "LIVE." MKIT RAIN's BLOO and Nafla Not Ready to Grow Up in New Single and Visual - "Nae tat"

Rapping that they've already "achieved everything," so there's no point in growing up, MKIT RAIN's BLOO and Nafla have teamed up for a joint single titled "Nae tat." The track, produced by Big Banana, dropped on September 10 with an official music video.  In the visual, the two play a couple of rebellious young men, not ready for responsibilities, who rap in Korean about alcohol and girls. SZA's Dance Moves - "Hit Different" In Visual for New Single ft. Ty Dolla $ign

Enlisting the help of famed choreographer Parris Goebel, R&B singer SZA has dropped her newest track, "Hit Different," with a music video, with sultry, sexy and powerful dance moves. H1GHR MUSIC Goes For an Edgier Sound on "H1GHR : RED TAPE" Compilation Album

Going hard, on the brink of punk rock on at least one track, South Korean hip-hop label H1GHR MUSIC released its first compilation album, titled "H1GHR : RED TAPE" on September 2nd, with an official music video for its song "The Purge." The project includes Jay Park, Golden, Sik-K, pH-1, BIG Naughty, Woodie Gochild, HAON, TRADE L and others. It follows the previously dropped visual for the track "How We Rock."  On the album, a remix of pH-1's song TELÉFONO, and the much anticipated track “Melanin Handsome” with Sik-K. According to the label, Sik-K, who has darker skin, wanted to say darker skin is beautiful, because "in Korea and Asia in general, a lighter skin complexion is perceived as more beautiful." Hi-Lite Records founder Paloalto steps down as CEO and Drops New Single - “Let the Story Begin”

Just weeks after celebrating the ten year anniversary of the record label he founded, rapper Paloalto announced on August 30, that he was resigning from his position of CEO at Hi-Lite Records. The Korean hip-hop artist says he will be staying on at the company to focus on his music.  On the same day as the announcement that he was stepping down, Paloalto also dropped a new single titled “Let the Story Begin,” produced by Yosi. YEAR OF THE OX Wants Justice for Black and Asian-American Communities in New Single - "Captain America"

YEAR OF THE OX rappers JL and Lyricks focus on the plight of the Black community and the attacks on Asian-Americans in their new single "Captain America." The track dropped with a visual on August 28, with wordplay about crime, racial injustice, inequalities, police brutality, deadly shootings, targeted assaults and the coronavirus pandemic. It's "Now or Never" for Coi Leray with New EP & MV for the track "Do Better"

Singer Coi Leray delivers a mixed bag of hip-hop, smooth melodies and island beats in her new EP "Now or Never." The project includes features from Gunna, Sevyn Streeter, Kiana Ledé and Fetty Wap. The mini-album dropped on August 14 with an official music video for her inspirational song "Do Better," which has her rapping about reaching for more in life, during a game of flag football. California artist Phora, is asking for promises, as he sings and raps over sweet melodies, about spending time with his lady in his new single.  The track "Promises," and the visual for it, hit streaming sites on August 21. According to Phora, the song is the second single off his upcoming album. It follows the release of his emotional track "Fake Smiles 2," on July 24.

KHEA Drops Hot New Single - "Ayer Me LLamó Mi Ex" ft. Lenny Santos

Argentine trap rapper KHEA gets a call from his ex-flame for a hook up in his new single "Ayer Me LLamó Mi Ex," featuring beats from bachata producer Lenny Santos. South Korean Hip-Hop label Hi-Lite Records Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Compilation Album “Legacy”

It's been ten years since South Korean rapper Paloalto founded hip-hop label Hi-Lite Records. During the decade of its rise, the label signed a number of talented popular rappers who have come and gone. Former artists include Keith Ape, B-Free, Okasian, Evo, GLV and G2.  Current artists with Hi-Lite include Reddy, YunB, Swervy, Pinodyne (Huckleberry P & Soul Fish) and others. In 2015, a partnership with entertainment company CJ E&M was announced to help with global marketing.  Now, to celebrate ten years of going strong, the label has released its tenth anniversary compilation album titled “Legacy.” The project dropped on streaming sites on August 16, with an official music video for the pop-rock track "Kid Rock," featuring Paloalto, jerd, Reddy and Soovi.   The song is a departure from what fans are used to, and it's even a departure from most of the other songs on the new album. Not taking themselves too seriously, MKIT RAIN's Nafla and H1GHR MUSIC's pH-1, team up for a fun melodic track, with a catchy beat titled "115." The PEEJAY produced single, with lyrics mostly in Korean, hit streaming sites on August 13. The song's theme of escapism vibes well with today's new reality. Jay Park Rocks Out With SURL On "Don't Say No"

Calling it an " unexpected collab ," entertainment mogul Jay Park takes the mic to rock out with South Korean rock band SURL, for the band's new single "Don't Say No."  The track includes a visual on YouTube (with subtitles) and it hit streaming sites on August 5, accompanied by a second song titled "Silence."   SURL debuted two years ago, in July 2018, and has taken home the first prize of the Shinhan Card Rookie Award. On their song "Don't Say No," we hear veteran artist Jay Park's smooth vocals, before a transition to a hip-hop rock jam session, with Park rapping, and a mesmerizing electric guitar riff.
