NEW VIDEO DROP: Kris Wu Under A Spell in New Official Music Video for "Like That"

The official music video for Kris Wu's new track "Like That" is here. It was released on May 22nd. Directed by Bradley & Pablo, the opening scene for it shows us what appears to be a firefly flying near a fireplace with Kris Wu chillin' nearby. The scene then transitions to a club (or house party), where we see him focusing on the girl he first introduced us to in the 'visualizer' for "Like That," which dropped with the single on May 18th.

But, there seems to be something magical about the young lady (played by model Stella Maxwell), and even the firefly near him, as Kris seems to be under a spell while singing "All the time, ah you on my mind / I'm about to throw away all my money on you."

We then go from scenes in a bathroom, to a pool party, and see Kris' eyes glow like he's possessed. And finally the scene from the 'visualizer' at the car, and it takes a shocking turn into flames, and makes you wonder, if the beautiful woman and the firefly are one-- which is actually a 'fire fairy.' Rapper Dok2 talks about working with Jay Park and G-Dragon (from BIGBANG) in Ep. 31 of "Fun With Dumb"

NEW NAME FOR BTS MEMBER (formerly Rap Monster)

The leader of the super popular kpop group BTS, from South Korea, has officially changed his name. Kim Nam-joon previously known as Rap Monster, has changed his stage name to RM. The announcement was published on the BTS official fan cafe on November 13. This year was different: 2023 Lexington, KY Roots & Heritage Festival Parade, Band Performances & Fashion Show

Showcasing Kentucky's African American culture and traditions, the 2023 Lexington, KY Roots & Heritage Festival kicked off Friday night, September 8, with live performances on the main stage on Elm Tree Lane. It continued Saturday morning with the annual parade and band performances. It included Simmons College (an HBCU) and Central High School marching bands from Louisville. The "Battle of the Bands" after the parade was moved from the corner of Fourth street and Elm Tree Lane to Third Street and Elm Tree Lane, near the historic Lyric Theatre. New this year, a fashion show outside the theater. The show included pieces from up-and-coming local designers. The festival wrapped on Sunday, September 10. Thousands of people attended the weekend event.

AOMG Welcomes Sogumm to the Label after her "Signhere" win on MBN

South Korean label AOMG (founded by Jay Park), now has two female artists. AOMG welcomed Sogumm to the team on October 31, after the final episode of Signhere on MBN. The singer took home first place, on the competition show. Her total scores for her performance beating out Meloh, Maddox and MBA. Sogumm joins Hoody, and a crew of popular male artists, as the second woman signed to AOMG. Hoody became the first female artist to sign to the hip-hop and R&B record label back in 2015. Song of the Day: Jay Park - "Whenever"

Jay Park dropped his R&B single "Whenever" one year ago, on July 23, 2025. Crooning "call me whenever" in an English and Japanese version. The Japanese version includes a passionate live clip on YouTube from part one of his Serenades & Body Rolls tour last year in Japan. Since then, Park has announced part two for 2026 , which includes his More Vision South Korean boy band LNGSHOT. This second leg of the tour kicks off on September 3 in São Paulo, Brazil with stops in Mexico, North America and Europe. No word if he'll perform this song, but for now, Jay Park's "Whenever" is today's Song of the Day.

New Music: South Korean R&B singer MELOH returns with Self-titled EP

Fans have been watching for South Korean singer MELOH ever since he hit the stage for AOMG's Signhere audition TV show program in 2019 on MBN. While he didn't finish first, he did make it to the finals with his smooth vocals. Fast forward to 2021, and MELOH is back with his first EP, titled "MELOH," and signed to the new hip-hop label-- Daytona Entertainment, founded by The Quiett and Yumdda. CEOs Jay Park and Cha Cha Malone Promote H1GHR MUSIC 'SXSW' Showcase (UPDATE - New Promo Video)

For fans who get to go, they are in for what's looking to be a really great hip-hop show. On March 5, CEOs of H1GHR MUSIC, Jay Park and Cha Cha Malone, posted a flyer on their social media accounts, of their label's showcase at SXSW (South by Southwest). The showcase is happening on March 17, at 8 p.m. at The Main on E. 6th St. in Austin, TX. The two music trailblazers will co-host the special event. The lineup includes artists Phe Reds, Jarv Dee, Avatar Darko, pH-1, Ted Park, Raz Simone, DJ Pumkin and DJ Rocryte. Junoflo (from Feel Ghood Music) is listed as a special performer for the H1GHR MUSIC showcase (and according to the flyer, Jay Park will also have a special performance during that event). DAVII Drops Eclectic New Album - "GENEZIS3"

South Korean musician DAVII dropped his fourth mini-album "GENEZIS3" on August 3rd. The project includes an eclectic infusion of jazz and hip-hop. The six-track EP hit streaming sites with an official music video for the song "Flying" showing DAVII on keys with smooth vocals. The track also features H1GHR MUSIC artist BIG Naughty.
