KHip-Hop Label AOMG Expands into Sports With 'Korean Zombie’ Chan Sung Jung

Something unexpected. On May 9th, Korean hip-hop label AOMG, announced a new venture. It shared on social media, that the company (with Jay Park and Simon Dominic as CEOs) has a new addition to the crew.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC)'s 'Korean Zombie' Chan Sung Jung, the first Asian fighter to contend for the UFC championship title, is now the first athlete to kick off AOMG's entrance into "Sportainment."

A video highlighting Chan Sung Jung's MMA training has been added to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. The video includes music from DJ Wegun, titled "Our Lives," featuring Jay Park and Ugly Duck. Check it out below...

NEW MUSIC & MV: South Korean rapper DYNO from Team X Crew drops "Daddy" Mixtape #7 featuring H.K.

A song dedicated to his father, in a new visual from KRAZY Entertainment TEAM X member DYNO. His (Korean Anime) "Daddy" video dropped on February 14, showing animated scenes of South Korea. Lyrics for the Mixtape #7 song (featuring H.K.) translated in English include... All your life your main concern is about your child’s well-being You dedicate your life and gladly carries the burden… which left thick foot-prints.. It is okay now to unpack those burden. Team X is a fairly new hip-hop crew from KRAZY Entertainment, consisting of DYNO and YEON. The crew debut in late 2018. Most recently YEON dropped a Mixtape #1 video on February 9th, and DYNO released a Mixtape #6 video titled "Lonely" on February 6. Check out his new MV below.

Perhaps one of the best known hip-hop and R&B crews in South Korea, members of FANXY CHILD have teamed up once again to drop a new single and visual titled "Y." The track hit streaming sites on August 9th featuring ZICO, CRUSH, DEAN, PENOMECO and producers MILLIC and STAYTUNED. Previously we've seen them collaborate on such hits and music videos like Millic's "Paradise" and Zico's "Fanxy Child" and "Bermuda Triangle." Rich Brian Spotlights Indonesian Culture in new "Kids" visual off Forthcoming Album

19-year-old Indonesian rapper Rich Brian dropped the official music video for his track "Kids" on July 19-- showing the scenes, people and culture of his hometown of Jakarta, Indonesia. The single is a pre-release off his upcoming album - "The Sailor," which is due out on July 26. He dropped the track and visual "Yellow" off it, on June 26. In "Kids," Brian spits bars about his rise in Hip-Hop, and his impact on the next generation. I'm makin' songs that'll probably outlive us for generations. Jay Park Dropping Remix of "Birthday"

The original was already a nice feel good song, but now Jay Park is teasing on his Instagram Story, a remix of the track "Birthday." "Birthday" aired originally on SMTM6, episode 3 with Ja Mezz, Jay Park and Dok2 in August, 2017. On his Instagram Story on Nov. 28, Park writes that the remix is coming soon. Meanwhile Jay Park, as fans know, the rapper/singer/model, goes non-stop from project to project, and recently was featured in "Cosmopolitan Korea's COSMO Men." Simon Dominic Steps Down as co-CEO of AOMG

Rapper Simon Dominic has resigned as co-CEO of AOMG, a South Korean hip-hop label he ran with founder Jay Park. Fans first became aware of the move, when Simon D released a surprise live performance video of a new track on July 25, titled "Me No Jay Park." The video of him on the mic, on AOMG's YouTube channel, contains English subtitles with the lyrics that say..."I'm writing a resignation letter and this song is it," and "I'mma release the stocks to AOMG first up," "(DJ) Pumkin go meet up with CJ so there's no problems," "But you gotta step up as CEO and pull me down as an employee." According to online magazine Soompi, after the release of the video, AOMG released an official statement confirming Simon Dominic's resignation, but it also says the rapper is not leaving the label. Dark and bittersweet like the pain of love, and grooving with alternative R&B-- South Korean AOMG producer CODE KUNST, released his double single "XI," featuring YG singer Lee Hi on January 8. Calling it 'The Next Chapter of "X,"' the title song follows the previously released collaboration from the two... "X," off Code Kunst's 2017 album "Muggles' Mansion." In addition to the title track, "XI," the new double single also includes a shorter track titled "A Sad Night Track." South Korean rapper The Quiett rides out in a Bentley in final 1LLIONAIRE RECORDS release - "BENTLEY 2"

With his laid-back 90s rap flow and braggadocious lyrics, rapper The Quiett is one of the smoothest artists in hip-hop. He is also the co-founder, with rapper Dok2, of one of the most influential record companies in South Korea. Both are part of a group of legends responsible for putting South Korean hip-hop on the map. Their label - 1LLIONAIRE RECORDS, was established in January 2011. They added rapper Beenzino later that year. In 2016, the two established a second label, of younger up-and-coming artists called Ambition Musik. The co-CEOs also toured the United States in 2016, and in 2017, putting on great high energy performances. INLet'sGo! caught their 2016 stop in Atlanta.  On November 11, 2020, The Quiett dropped his last double single under 1LLIONAIRE RECORDS, marking the last 1LLIONAIRE DAY (of new music drops), and the final project for the company. Dok2 parted ways with the label in February, and in July, the company announced it was shutting down....

Up and coming California-based rapper JMIN released his melodic track and visual titled "I Know Why" at the end of June. While the artist is still in the early stages of his music career, he is already receiving international attention after the release of the video for his song “Spaceship” on the 'No Jumper' YouTube channel last September. According to his online profile on GENIUS , JMIN (aka Jonathan Min), is 18-years-old, and moved to Los Angeles from Florida, in the 9th grade. Check out his music and video below.
