KHip-Hop Label AOMG Expands into Sports With 'Korean Zombie’ Chan Sung Jung

Something unexpected. On May 9th, Korean hip-hop label AOMG, announced a new venture. It shared on social media, that the company (with Jay Park and Simon Dominic as CEOs) has a new addition to the crew.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC)'s 'Korean Zombie' Chan Sung Jung, the first Asian fighter to contend for the UFC championship title, is now the first athlete to kick off AOMG's entrance into "Sportainment."

A video highlighting Chan Sung Jung's MMA training has been added to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. The video includes music from DJ Wegun, titled "Our Lives," featuring Jay Park and Ugly Duck. Check it out below...

Rapper Dok2 talks about working with Jay Park and G-Dragon (from BIGBANG) in Ep. 31 of "Fun With Dumb"

Illionaire Records co-founder Dok2 is a pioneer in the South Korean hip-hop industry, but he rarely gives interviews. Lucky for fans, the rapper sat down on two separate occasions recently to talk about his life and the rise of hip-hop in South Korea. The first interview was for the March 7th face to face with rapper Snacky Chan for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod."   The second was for American rapper Dumbfoundead's March 20th (ep. 31) podcast of "Fun With Dumb." During the podcast, Dok2 provided a mini-history lesson for anyone interested in South Korean hip-hop. Perhaps one of the best known hip-hop and R&B crews in South Korea, members of FANXY CHILD have teamed up once again to drop a new single and visual titled "Y." The track hit streaming sites on August 9th featuring ZICO, CRUSH, DEAN, PENOMECO and producers MILLIC and STAYTUNED. Previously we've seen them collaborate on such hits and music videos like Millic's "Paradise" and Zico's "Fanxy Child" and "Bermuda Triangle." Jay Park Announces new H1GHR MUSIC Artist - Seo Donghyun a.k.a. Big Naughty

During the second and final day of his 2019  Off Route Fest in South Korea, co-CEO/entertainer Jay Park announced the newest member of his second label- H1GHR MUSIC, as rapper/singer Seo Donghyun a.k.a. Big Naughty. Park introduced the young artist on stage, on Oct. 6, in front of a crowd of thousands of people at the music festival, and later posted video of the moment to Instagram. According to Park, Donghyun is now the youngest member of the label (previously that title went to rapper Haon). Big Naughty was a contestant on season eight of the popular South Korean rap competition program - Show Me The Money (SMTM). He was eliminated in the semi-finals. The vibe is a bit more laid-back and groovy, on H1GHR MUSIC's second compilation album, "H1GHR : BLUE TAPE," which hit streaming sites on September 16. The first track, "Champagne Diet," sets it off with a smooth bounce featuring label CEO Jay Park, rapper 28AV, Gemini and pH-1. South Korean R&B singer JINBO, may have built his ideal woman as an AI robot, in his latest music video. The SuperFreakRecords' artist released the mv for "You Just Have To" on August 28, and you may have to watch it a couple of times, to get the plot twist. The visual comes after the August 14 release of his music video "So To Speak," with Crush and Hoody, which honors Kim SungJae, a member of the '90s duo DEUX, who died a suspicious death after his solo debut. JINBO's new music video was directed by 725, and has a sexy-tragic storyline. The song produced by Nounou Paris, was written by JINBO the SuperFreak himself. by Nefertiti Jenkins Sudanese-American hip-hop artist Bas (from J. Cole's Dreamville Records) dropped his latest project "Milky Way" back on August 24. The 14-track album includes international beats with conscious flow. The Paris born rapper moved to Queens, New York when he was eight. His family is originally from Sudan (Northeast Africa). The official music video hit YouTube on November 8th, and as expected, Lopez looks good, as she shows off her toned body.
