Junoflo Links Up with Horim For Groovy Single - "Bloom"

Rapper Junoflo has teamed up with South Korean singer Horim for a new funky track titled "Bloom." The single, produced by Vintage Spaceship, hit streaming sites on June 26. Check it out below.

Seattle Native JaWaan LaRue Drops "King County" Album

Conscious Mind Records rapper JaWaan LaRue is back with his latest project. The Seattle native released his new album "King County" on June 25. The drop follows the release of his single "Nat Turner," featuring Silas Blak on June 8. According to his profile, LaRue was born in Seattle to a single mother in the Holly Park Projects, and growing up, was influenced by West Coast culture and gangster rap music of the ’90s. He moved to Orlando in 2011, where he attended Full Sail University and signed with Orlando based Conscious Mind Records. Check out his new music below. Jessie Reyez Drops Powerful Message About Colonialism In New Visual - "INTRUDERS"

Singer Jessie Reyez released an animated visual for her song "INTRUDERS" on June 19. The track is from her "Before Love Came To Kill Us" deluxe album, which hit streaming sites in March. In the music video for "INTRUDERS," there's a strong message about colonialism, and Reyez is drawn in animation as a warrior who loves, and fights to protect her land, symbolized as a beautiful giant man. On Instagram she captioned: "Colonialism is in the mitochondria of racism. INTRUDERS." According to Reyez, streaming revenue for "INTRUDERS" will be donated to Colin Kaepernick’s Know Your Rights Camp  for the remainder of the year. Check out the new video below. Khalil Fong Drops Groovy EP - "Home Sweet Home"

Calling it his quarantine EP, singer Khalil Fong released his 3-track groovy project "Home Sweet Home" on June 19. On Instagram, he says with the new music, he shared his thoughts about "vinyls, cassettes, compact disks, noodles and needing a haircut." Check it out below. New Release: DPR - "ARCHIVES"

Straight from the vault, the Dream Perfect Regime has released its "ARCHIVES" of music from its videos. The compilation project features DPR LIVE, DPR IAN and DPR CREAM. Rapper Lil Baby has perhaps just dropped the song of 2020. The Atlanta-bred artist released his single "The Bigger Picture" with an official music video on June 12, showing clips of protests and summing up the current Black Lives Matter movement against racism and police brutality. The movement was reignited after the May 25 police death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Floyd's death was caught on camera, as Derek Chauvin, a white police officer, knelt on Floyd's neck for almost nine minutes while Floyd repeatedly said "I can't breathe." Floyd's death followed the March 13 death of EMT Breonna Taylor, who was shot and killed by police in her apartment, while she slept, when officers busted into her home during a no-knock search warrant for narcotics, in Louisville, Kentucky. H1GHR MUSIC Celebrates 3rd Anniversary After Sik-K, pH-1, Jay Park & HAON drop Remix to Rain's Song "GANG"

After rolling out the remix to South Korean artist Rain's song "GANG," H1GHR MUSIC hours later celebrated its third anniversary. The hip-hop label founded in 2017 by Jay Park and Cha Cha Malone, includes South Korean and American rappers, singers and producers. On Instagram, Park thanked fans for supporting H1GHR MUSIC, and shared a clip of his interview with The Cut from three-years ago about his vision for the new label. H1GHR MUSIC has been a hit almost from the start and members of the label hit the U.S. for a tour about a year after its founding. But it has had some changes, with the departure of at least one of its artists - Seattle rapper Jarv Dee.
