JULY

-GSoul: The South Korean R&B singer announced his North American Tour last month, following the conclusion of his European tour. With eleven scheduled stops, it will kick off July 7 in Vancouver and end July 24 in Seattle. Ticket information is at Kohai.com.

-Lollapalooza: The festival takes place in the historic Grant Park in Chicago July 28-31. This year, J-Hope, member of Kpop group BTS, will headline with a closing performance on the main stage on Sunday, July 31st. His performance will make history, cementing him as the first South Korean artist to ever headline a main stage at a major U.S. music festival. Ticket information at: lollapalooza.com.

-Kehlani: The American R&B singer begins her "Blue Water Road Trip" Tour on July 30 in Raleigh, NC. You can find a link to buy tickets on her website: Kehlani.com.

AUGUST

-Alicia Keys: The R&B singer kicks off the American leg of her World Tour on August 2nd in Charlotte, NC. You can find ticket information on her website by clicking here.

-Kultureland Fest: Happening AUG. 6-7. Kultureland is an Afro-fusion, Latin, Dancehall, and R&B music festival located in Toronto, Canada. Headliners this year are Burna Boy and Jhené Aiko. Get tickets at www.kultureland.ca.

-Giveon: The R&B singer kicks off the American leg of his 2022 tour on August 16 in Philadelphia, PA. You can find a link to show dates on his website www.giveonofficial.com. The tour will follow the release of his album- "Give or Take," hitting streaming sites on June 24th.

-Head In The Clouds Festival: More than a dozen artists are expected to hit the stage August 20 & 21 in Pasadena, CA during the two-day 88rising event. The lineup includes Jay Park, Shotta Spence, Rich Brian and Jackson Wang. You can buy passes at LA.HITCFESTIVAL.COM.

SEPTEMBER

-MADE IN AMERICA: The JAY-Z curated festival returns Labor Day Weekend, Sept. 3-4, on Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia, PA. The full festival lineup includes headliners Bad Bunny and Tyler, The Creator, along with performances from Lil Uzi Vert, Jazmine Sullivan, Burna Boy, Snoh Aalegra, Kodak Black, Pusha T, Lil Tjay and more. -Jack Harlow: The Louisville, KY rapper kicks off his “Come Home The Kids Miss You" Tour on September 6th in Nashville, TN with support from hip-hop duo, City Girls. Ticket information is at: jackharlow.us.tour.

-DPR Regime Tour: The Dream Perfect Regime collective kicks off their world tour on September 8 in Charlotte, NC with sold out shows. Ticket information is available at regimetour.com.

-Mary J. Blige: The legendary Queen of Hip-Hop Soul hits the road for her Good Morning Gorgeous Tour beginning September 17 in Greensboro, North Carolina. The tour features singers Ella Mai and Queen Naija. You can find ticket information at: www.maryjblige.com.

Simon Dominic Steps Down as co-CEO of AOMG

Rapper Simon Dominic has resigned as co-CEO of AOMG, a South Korean hip-hop label he ran with founder Jay Park. Fans first became aware of the move, when Simon D released a surprise live performance video of a new track on July 25, titled "Me No Jay Park." The video of him on the mic, on AOMG's YouTube channel, contains English subtitles with the lyrics that say..."I'm writing a resignation letter and this song is it," and "I'mma release the stocks to AOMG first up," "(DJ) Pumkin go meet up with CJ so there's no problems," "But you gotta step up as CEO and pull me down as an employee." According to online magazine Soompi, after the release of the video, AOMG released an official statement confirming Simon Dominic's resignation, but it also says the rapper is not leaving the label. Yayoi Daimon is back with a new turn up. The Japanese artist dropped her latest song, "Rich or Dead," featuring Namichie on November 24. Jackson Wang Inspired by "Bruce Lee" on New Collab with Al Rocco

Jackson Wang is on a World Tour right now with his kpop idol group GOT7, but the rapper still found time to collaborate with fellow Chinese rapper Al Rocco , on a track titled "Bruce Lee." The single dropped on July 14, and begins with an audio recording of the martial arts legend, Bruce Lee, as an intro to the song. Produced by Fader One, according to the description released for it, the song "expresses the strength of the Chinese people through the power of music and kung fu." Lyrics with Wang include... Pull a stunt like Bruce Lee. Spit venom on the verse don’t try me. Everyday stay low key. Throw a jab so fast won’t see me. New Music: "BLOO IN WONDERLAND" (feat. niahn & nafla) & "I'm the one" MV

Rapper BLOO from MKIT RAIN‏, has returned with his second mini album. "BLOO IN WONDERLAND" (featuring niahn and labelmate nafla) dropped on November 19, with an official music video for its BIG BANANA produced track "I'm the one." In the visual, BLOO (with a melodic flat electric delivery), has taken on the character of a man in an intimate relationship with a beautiful woman. The song, as well as other tracks on the EP, include partial lyrics in English. The mini-album also includes the pre-released single "Take me" (feat. nafla). The label he's with, MKIT RAIN, is a LA based hip-hop label, with artists who create South Korean content. BLOO, released his first EP, "Downtown Baby," back in 2017. Song of the Day: Jay Park - "Whenever"

Jay Park dropped his R&B single "Whenever" one year ago, on July 23, 2025. Crooning "call me whenever" in an English and Japanese version. The Japanese version includes a passionate live clip on YouTube from part one of his Serenades & Body Rolls tour last year in Japan. Since then, Park has announced part two for 2026 , which includes his More Vision South Korean boy band LNGSHOT. This second leg of the tour kicks off on September 3 in São Paulo, Brazil with stops in Mexico, North America and Europe. No word if he'll perform this song, but for now, Jay Park's "Whenever" is today's Song of the Day.

NEW MUSIC DROP: South Korean singer Jhnovr - new emotional R&B track - "조금만 더" on repeat

The Korean title "조금만 더" translates to "Little Bit More" on Google, and we hear the Lowland crew member croon with raw emotions, the question in English, "How do you feel about me?" MILLION MARKET producer duo GXXD (Girlnexxtdoor) dropped their debut self-titled EP "GXXD," on January 5. The duo consists of South Korean producers; Vangdale and Seyoung. Their three track mini-project includes features with MOON, Sik-K, Coogie and Goopy on a mix of trap, jazz, R&B and other beats. Hip-Hop Fans Fall for MINO Again After New Album Drop - "TAKE"

South Korean rapper MINO first got on the radar for many hip-hop fans during the fourth season of rap competition series Show Me The Money in 2015, when he proved himself as being more than just an idol artist.
