NEW MUSIC: Huckleberry P - "Whatever"

Lyrical flow over melodic beats. South Korean rapper Huckleberry P dropped a double release on November 2nd, titled "Whatever. " It includes two tracks; "Whatever" and "Wave," featuring Stella Jang and Bassagong.

The songs were produced by Glowingdog, Paul Kyte and Humbert. Check out the Apple Music preview below. Even after taking a couple of breaks, the 34-year-old artist has been putting a dent on the South Korean hip-hop scene for years, including with his collaboration work as part of Pinodyne with producer Soul Fish. New Music & MV: FANXY CHILD - "Y" featuring Zico, Crush, Dean, Penomeco, Millic & Staytuned

Perhaps one of the best known hip-hop and R&B crews in South Korea, members of FANXY CHILD have teamed up once again to drop a new single and visual titled "Y." The track hit streaming sites on August 9th featuring ZICO, CRUSH, DEAN, PENOMECO and producers MILLIC and STAYTUNED. Previously we've seen them collaborate on such hits and music videos like Millic's "Paradise" and Zico's "Fanxy Child" and "Bermuda Triangle." Rapper Dok2 talks about working with Jay Park and G-Dragon (from BIGBANG) in Ep. 31 of "Fun With Dumb"

Illionaire Records co-founder Dok2 is a pioneer in the South Korean hip-hop industry, but he rarely gives interviews. Lucky for fans, the rapper sat down on two separate occasions recently to talk about his life and the rise of hip-hop in South Korea. The first interview was for the March 7th face to face with rapper Snacky Chan for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod." The second was for American rapper Dumbfoundead's March 20th (ep. 31) podcast of "Fun With Dumb." During the podcast, Dok2 provided a mini-history lesson for anyone interested in South Korean hip-hop. Beginning with his early rise, the rapper says he's been making moves in the industry since 2002 when he was 12-years-old. He told Dumbfoundead that he used to attend a school for foreigners in Busan (because of his mixed Korean, Spanish and Filipino heritage), but after 6th grade he moved to Seoul and did not return back to school (due to family financial reasons). Jay Park Announces new H1GHR MUSIC Artist - Seo Donghyun a.k.a. Big Naughty

During the second and final day of his 2019 Off Route Fest in South Korea, co-CEO/entertainer Jay Park announced the newest member of his second label- H1GHR MUSIC, as rapper/singer Seo Donghyun a.k.a. Big Naughty. Park introduced the young artist on stage, on Oct. 6, in front of a crowd of thousands of people at the music festival, and later posted video of the moment to Instagram. According to Park, Donghyun is now the youngest member of the label (previously that title went to rapper Haon). Big Naughty was a contestant on season eight of the popular South Korean rap competition program - Show Me The Money (SMTM). He was eliminated in the semi-finals. NEW VIDEO DROP: Lil Tjay - "Hold On"

Up and coming New York rapper Lil Tjay released the visual for his song "Hold On" on October 15. The flashy video takes a dramatic turn with a flashback to a year in the past. Rapper Dumbfoundead in New Movie Co-Produced by Eminem

Hip-hop artist and battle rapper, Jonathan "Dumbfoundead" Park tweeted on Twitter on August 1, that he's in a new movie titled "Bodied." The film is directed by Joseph Kahn and co-produced by Eminem and Adi Shankar. It premieres at the Toronto International Film Festival on Sept. 7th. According to the festival's website, "Bodied" is a satirical battle rapper film , starring Anthony Michael Hall, Debra Wilson, and Calum Worthy with Dumbfoundead and fellow battle rapper Dizaster and others. South Korean rapper Coogie drops new single as contract with AOMG expires

South Korean artist Coogie dropped his new single "1,2,3,4,5" on January 23, 2025--the same day record label AOMG announced its exclusive contract with the rapper had come to an end. Coogie signed with AOMG in 2022. He was previously signed under hip-hop label ATMseoul. He became known for his sing-song melodic rap style after participating in the South Korean rap competition series Show Me The Money 777 in 2018. The translation to AOMG's post on X reads... Rapper PUNCHNELLO is more than "Ordinary." in new EP and "Blue Hawaii" MV distributed by AOMG

South Korean artist PUNCHNELLO's style of rap is by no way ordinary, but that's the title of his new mini-album. The rapper's EP "Ordinary." dropped on January 28 through hip-hop label AOMG. According to 10 Asia, PUNCHNELLO recently signed a contract with AOMG for music and distribution. South Korean producer JuniorChef also recently signed a contract for the same type of distribution agreement. PUNCHNELLO (from the crew Club Eskimo) is known for his fast and sharp delivery , who can also slow it down with emotional flow . Crowd goes wild for Jack Harlow at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky

Rapper Jack Harlow wrapped his 6-city No Place Like Home Tour across his home state of Kentucky on Sunday, December 3, performing to a near sold out crowd at Rupp Arena in Lexington.
