SONG OF THE DAY: Jay Rock - "WIN"

Sometimes we need a little push in life to get us to the top. That's where rapper Jay Rock's song "WIN," from his summer 2018 Redemption album comes in. With booming horns throughout the track, it has just enough hype to make you want to go for it.

"WIN" was pre-released as a single in May, with a music video. The track and visual includes ad-libs from fellow Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) labelmate, Kendrick Lamar. Directed by Dave Meyers and Dave Free (of The Little Homies), the music video also includes cameos from TDE artists SZA, Ab-Soul and Isaiah Rashad. Since that drop, he's released more visuals for his album, including the official music video for his track "For What It's Worth."  It hit YouTube on Nov. 7.

Before that, in October, Rock dropped a remix to "WIN," featuring Snoop Dogg. And just like the remix, the original is still a banger, making it today's Song of The Day. Check it out below.
Get out the way, get out the way, get out the way yeah (yeah)/ Get out the way, get the f*** up out my way, yeah (yeah)/ You either with me or against me, ho (ho)/ You either with me or (wait)/ Win, win, win, win, win (yeah).
