He's been making a name for himself as a rising artist in South Korea. Singer/rapper WOODZ released a video for his latest single, "Meaningless," on November 3rd. The visual, on the 1theK YouTube channel, shows WOODZ at the mic, as a camera zooms out. He begins his song as a whisper, but gradually transitions to a sweet falsetto.
The artist got his start in 2014, as a member of the Chinese-South Korean boy group - UNIQ. Born Cho Seung-youn, WOODZ, once promoted his solo activities under the stage name Luizy, but then changed it to his current moniker.
He's worked with AOMG producer/H1GHR MUSIC co-CEO, Cha Cha Malone, on at least two R&B tracks; "Pool," featuring SUMIN, and "Different," which hit streaming sites earlier this year. He also collaborated with Korean-American rapper Flowsik on the single "Recipe," back in 2016. Check out the latest music video from WOODZ below.
