KPOP group NCT 127 mix Hip-Hop and Latin beats in new English track and MV - "Regular"

Rapping and singing in English, kpop group NCT 127, has just released a hard-hitting visual for their hip-hop Latin fused track "Regular." The official music video dropped on October 8, as a pre-release off their first full-length album "Regular-Irregular," due out on October 12th (which will include a Korean version of "Regular").

NCT 127 (a sub-unit of SM Entertainment's NCT) is currently promoting in Los Angeles (as Apple Music's "Up Next" artists), and before the new video dropped on YouTube, the South Korean boy band premiered the English version of their new song on Apple Music's Beats 1 Radio program with Zane Lowe, where they also FaceTimed with DJ Khaled about a possible collaboration.


You can watch them perform "Regular" on Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight (October 8). It's their first song in English. The group recently added a new member and now perform with ten members-- Jungwoo, Doyoung, Haechan, Mark Lee, WinWin, Taeyong, Jaehyun, Yuta, Taeil and Johnny.

If you miss them on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, they will also hit the red carpet for the American Music Awards show on October 9, and they will be a part of ABC’s Mickey's 90th Spectacular special (celebrating 90 years of Mickey Mouse) on November 4.

Fans still have questions about ECÂF after the release of Ruel's new single & MV - "Face To Face"

BamBam from GOT7 delivers a trap hook and flow, with Thai rapper F.HERO (ฟักกลิ้ง ฮีโร่) on the new KILO KEYS produced track - "Do You." The song is off F.HERO's new 32-track album - "INTO THE NEW ERA." The visual for "Do You" dropped on October 16, with a suave BamBam dressed in black. Rapper Shotta Spence Shares his Mother's Story

Shotta Spence, the 21-year-old up and coming rapper from New Jersey, shared part of his mother's journey from Vietnam, on Instagram, on Monday, September 4, as he wished her a Happy Birthday, and thanked her for supporting him as an artist. In his post, Shotta Spence (Spence Lee) wrote that when his mother was a little girl in Vietnam,  "the communist North had taken everything from her family. During the war, her parents and siblings had to escape further south in a TANK. The South Vietnamese and the Americans were losing the war, and she got separated from her family in the chaos. U.S. soldiers evacuated her via "Operation Babylift" ... on the LAST flight out." H1GHR MUSIC fans have more questions after label drops compilation single - "BRB"

H1GHR MUSIC returned with a new compilation single and visual on July 27. The title for the new song-- "BRB," is an acronym for "Be Right Back." The track produced by GroovyRoom and Cha Cha Malone, includes arstists HAON, Sik-K, TRADE L, BIG Naughty, pH-1, PARK HYEON JIN, JAY B and Jay Park.  The song includes the lyrics: "We'll meet again after looking around" and "H1GHR gang, no label, issa la familia." Fans are commenting under the official music video for the song, saying the lyrics are sad and appear to suggest an ending or hiatus.  The new release comes just days after rapper pH-1 deleted his posts on Instagram and after H1GHR MUSIC announced the departures of rapper Sik-K and GOT7 singer JAY B, after the expiration of their contracts. Sik-K had been with the label since its founding, while JAY B had been with H1GHR for just a year.  The South Korean label was founded by Jay Park and Cha Cha Malone in 2017. Mural of Rapper Dumbfoundead Vandalized

The iconic mural of rapper Dumbfoundead painted on the side of Catalina Liquor in Koreatown in Los Angeles, has been vandalized-- that's according to a social media post from the artist. A picture of the vandalism, shows letters spray painted across it. On July 16th, Dumbfoundead thanked painter Joseph Yun Lee and Catalina Liquor on Instagram for "wanting to keep the mural up as long as they did."  The mural was originally painted for the rapper's 2016 music video "Murals," a visual off his "We Might Die" album. Last year, he tweeted that he was getting a least one tagged photo a day from fans who had taken a picture in front of it. Dumbfoundead is now asking fans to send pictures or videos they had taken in front of the mural to muralsforever@gmail.com or tag him, so he can use the images in a video. Drawing from his church upbringing (his father was a pastor), London singer Samm Henshaw, has released a gospel chorus influenced track titled "Doubt," featuring Wretch 32. The single hit streaming sites with an official music video uploaded to YouTube on October 4. It includes cartoon animated versions of Henshaw and Wretch 32, delivering soulful epiphanic lyrics... Female Rapper Celebrates Driving in Saudi Arabia - with a Hip-Hop Video

by Nefertiti Jenkins Leesa A is a hip-hop artist in Saudi Arabia, and she's celebrating the fact, that she can now legally drive a car in her home country. According to BBC News , the law officially changed on June 24, ending the decades-old ban, in which women in Saudi Arabia could not drive, and "families had to hire private chauffeurs for female relatives." The change was announced last September, and the first licenses were issued earlier this month, according to the BBC. Soon after the ban was lifted, Leesa uploaded a rap video to Instagram and YouTube, showing the young woman, behind the wheel of a car spitting bars. The video has been shared extensively on social media, including by actress Jada Pinkett Smith, who also included the lyrics translated in English, under her caption for her post on Instagram. Coachella 2020 Lineup Includes South Korean kpop group BIGBANG & Epik High

Coachella announced its full 2020 lineup on Jan. 3. Headlining are Rage Against the Machine, Frank Ocean and Travis Scott. Two groups from South Korea will also perform during the two-weekend music festival in April-- BIGBANG and Epik High. Epik High also performed at the festival in 2016. This is the first announced performance for BIGBANG, since its members enlisted in South Korea's military, and since the controversial departure of former member Seungri. The singer left the group due to a criminal investigation against him. BIGBANG is one of the most influential kpop acts to come out of South Korea. Its current members: G-Dragon, Taeyang, T.O.P and Daesung last performed in the United States back in 2015, during their Made World Tour. The tour listed on Pollstar's year end list.
