New Music Drop: Mila J - "June 2018" - EP


R&B singer Mila J, has dropped her latest monthly EP.  She's been releasing a new project every month since the beginning of the year. The latest one, "June 2018," includes five tracks; "I See You Lookin," "Without You," "Somehow Someway," "Crash," and "Did This to Myself," (feat. MIGH-X).

The tracks, each on a smooth beat, follow the ups and downs of relationships. You can find the new release on digital platforms here, and a preview from Apple Music below.

Mila J's birth name is Jamila Chilombo, and the Los Angeles native is of black, Japanese, and Native American descent. She's the older sister of R&B singer Jhéne Aiko, and has been active on and off in the music industry since the 90s, with her appearance (as a little girl) in Prince's "Diamond and Pearls" video in 1991. Fans still have questions about ECÂF after the release of Ruel's new single & MV - "Face To Face"

Hot New Music: Jack Harlow - "First Class," Paulo Londra - "Chance" and ChaMane - "26"

Hip-hop is dominating the charts from around the world. During the week ending April 9, some hot new music hit streaming sites, including new hits from Louisville, KY rapper Jack Harlow, Argentine artist Paulo Londra and South Korean rapper ChaMane. Jack Harlow's banger "First Class" rolled out on streaming sites on April 8, with an official visualizer (that's currently trending on YouTube) just days after a preview of the song on social media with the artist in the studio went viral. BamBam from GOT7 delivers a trap hook and flow, with Thai rapper F.HERO (ฟักกลิ้ง ฮีโร่) on the new KILO KEYS produced track - "Do You." The song is off F.HERO's new 32-track album - "INTO THE NEW ERA." The visual for "Do You" dropped on October 16, with a suave BamBam dressed in black. Avatar Darko Officially Signs With H1GHR MUSIC

Seattle Rapper Avatar Darko, has officially signed with hip-hop label H1GHR MUSIC. The CEOs, Jay Park and Cha Cha Malone, posted the official video on June 5th, to social media of Avatar signing the contract, and receiving his H1GHR MUSIC gold chain.  The new signee is fresh off a U.S. tour with his H1GHR MUSIC labelmates (which wrapped on May 8th in Seattle). He also hit the stage with them back in March, for South by Southwest. New Music On The Way: Sik-K from H1GHR MUSIC collaboration with Whee In (from Mamamoo) "EASY" teaser

Trap rapper Sik-K, from H1GHR MUSIC has a collaboration on the way with Whee In, the lead vocalist from South Korean girl group Mamamoo. The new material is dropping soon. On Sunday, April 15, the "YeLowS Gang" artist shared a teaser of the music video which is called "Easy." Jarv Dee Drops Final Single Under H1GHR MUSIC - "No Regrets" feat. Sik-K & pH-1

Seattle artist Jarv Dee is parting ways with hip-hop label H1GHR MUSIC. The rapper dropped his track "No Regrets" featuring South Korean rappers Sik-K and pH-1 on December 27, as his last single with the label. Jarv Dee and H1GHR MUSIC posted the announcement on social media about the departure, shortly after the release of the new song. The label was founded by Jay Park and Cha Cha Malone in 2017, and Jarv Dee as one of its artists, had been with H1GHR MUSIC since then. Gump Drops Visual for Groovy New Song- "Sitcom"

South Korean artist Gump croons over smooth melodies in his new groovy track- "Sitcom." The song dropped with a quirky visual on October 13, under South Korean Indie music distributor -Mirrorball Music.  "Sitcom" is the title track of Gump's triple-single project, which also includes the songs "Merry-go" and "Fragile."  Check it out below. 

NEW R&B: Oceanfromtheblue - "PAPARAZZI"

South Korean singer Oceanfromtheblue released the official live lyric video to his soulful R&B track "PAPARAZZI" on January 30. In the visual, the artist mesmerizes with a wide vocal range, which includes high and low notes riding on smooth melodies, as he sings about taking pictures of his love interest. B-Free drops a 360° VR Music Video for "Wild Wild West"

Get your VR headset ready. South Korean rapper B-Free has just released a 360° virtual reality music video on YouTube, for his single "Wild Wild West." The Mirai Mono directed video dropped on January 30th. B-Free is the founder of New Wave Records. He calls the video a new frontier, and says in the description under the video, that you have to use the YouTube application or a Chrome browser in order to watch it in 360 degrees. Adding that you can switch the screen to push 'WASD,'' when watching on a PC. Check it out below.

KPOP Idol J-Hope from BTS - in Drake's "In My Feelings" Official Music Video

by Nefertiti Jenkins So many people from around the world have danced to Drake's Scorpion "In My Feelings" track, thanks to comedian Shiggy, and the viral challenge he created, that Drake almost didn't need an official music video for the song. But he made one anyway. The MV dropped late on August 2nd, and with more than 8 million views, 12 hours later, it is currently the number one trending video on YouTube. Directed by Karena Evans in a New Orleans setting, the cameos in it are epic. At the beginning of the video we see Drake outside a New Orleans home, trying to sweet talk his Keke, played by TV personality and actress La La Anthony, but the two are interrupted by Keke's mother, played Cosby Show legend Phylicia Rashad. It then goes on to feature scenes of dancers and Shiggy in the Big Easy, until Drake wakes from his "dream" and gets annoyed by a production assistant, also played by Shiggy. At the end of the video, during the credits
