New Music & MV: CHAI - "Give and Take" (feat. pH-1)


With sultry vocals and a smoky visual, singer CHAI released her debut single "Give and Take" on June 19, with an official music video. The title song to her three track release, features H1GHR MUSIC artist pH-1.

Born in Chicago, CHAI, (aka Lee Soo-jung), won the South Korean competition show K-pop Star 5 on SBS in 2016. She's currently signed with Antenna Music. Her third track on "Give and Take" ("Color You") features singer Sam Kim.

According to her social media post, her new music is currently available on Korean streaming platforms, and will be available on Apple Music and Spotify in other countries later.

Rapper Dok2 talks about working with Jay Park and G-Dragon (from BIGBANG) in Ep. 31 of "Fun With Dumb"

Illionaire Records co-founder Dok2 is a pioneer in the South Korean hip-hop industry, but he rarely gives interviews. Lucky for fans, the rapper sat down on two separate occasions recently to talk about his life and the rise of hip-hop in South Korea. The first interview was for the March 7th face to face with rapper Snacky Chan for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod."   The second was for American rapper Dumbfoundead's March 20th (ep. 31) podcast of "Fun With Dumb." During the podcast, Dok2 provided a mini-history lesson for anyone interested in South Korean hip-hop. Beginning with his early rise, the rapper says he's been making moves in the industry since 2002 when he was 12-years-old. He told Dumbfoundead that he used to attend a school for foreigners in Busan (because of his mixed Korean, Spanish and Filipino heritage), but after 6th grade he moved to Seoul and did not return back to school (due to family financial reasons). Perhaps one of the best known hip-hop and R&B crews in South Korea, members of FANXY CHILD have teamed up once again to drop a new single and visual titled "Y." The track hit streaming sites on August 9th featuring ZICO, CRUSH, DEAN, PENOMECO and producers MILLIC and STAYTUNED. Previously we've seen them collaborate on such hits and music videos like Millic's "Paradise" and Zico's "Fanxy Child" and "Bermuda Triangle." Jay Park Announces new H1GHR MUSIC Artist - Seo Donghyun a.k.a. Big Naughty

During the second and final day of his 2019  Off Route Fest in South Korea, co-CEO/entertainer Jay Park announced the newest member of his second label- H1GHR MUSIC, as rapper/singer Seo Donghyun a.k.a. Big Naughty. Park introduced the young artist on stage, on Oct. 6, in front of a crowd of thousands of people at the music festival, and later posted video of the moment to Instagram. According to Park, Donghyun is now the youngest member of the label (previously that title went to rapper Haon). Big Naughty was a contestant on season eight of the popular South Korean rap competition program - Show Me The Money (SMTM). He was eliminated in the semi-finals. Artist AUDREY NUNA Sings About her need for "Space" in New Single Release

The feeling of drowning underwater and inner struggles, singer/rapper AUDREY NUNA delivers an emotional piece in her latest single and visual-- "Space." The Korean-American artist from New Jersey dropped her new music and official video for it, on her birthday, April 2. She co-directed the visual with Loris Russier and Khufu Najee, showing stunning scenes of turmoil. Check it out below.

Cha Cha Malone and Chase Henny return With New Hot Single - "Love You Now"

H1GHR MUSIC's Cha Cha Malone has again dropped another joint single with artist Chase Henny. The two released their latest melodic collaboration - "Love You Now" on streaming sites on December 11. The song follows the rollout of their track "Selfish," which hit music sites back in March. Check out their new release below.

Chill Vibes from H1GHR MUSIC in Second Compilation Album - "H1GHR : BLUE TAPE"

The vibe is a bit more laid-back and groovy, on H1GHR MUSIC's second compilation album, "H1GHR : BLUE TAPE," which hit streaming sites on September 16. The first track, "Champagne Diet," sets it off with a smooth bounce featuring label CEO Jay Park, rapper 28AV, Gemini and pH-1. New Video Drop: JINBO - "You Just Have To"

South Korean R&B singer JINBO, may have built his ideal woman as an AI robot, in his latest music video. The SuperFreakRecords' artist released the mv for "You Just Have To" on August 28, and you may have to watch it a couple of times, to get the plot twist. The visual comes after the August 14 release of his music video "So To Speak," with Crush and Hoody, which honors Kim SungJae, a member of the '90s duo DEUX, who died a suspicious death after his solo debut. JINBO's new music video was directed by 725, and has a sexy-tragic storyline. The song produced by Nounou Paris, was written by JINBO the SuperFreak himself.
