New Music & MV: CHAI - "Give and Take" (feat. pH-1)


With sultry vocals and a smoky visual, singer CHAI released her debut single "Give and Take" on June 19, with an official music video. The title song to her three track release, features H1GHR MUSIC artist pH-1.

Born in Chicago, CHAI, (aka Lee Soo-jung), won the South Korean competition show K-pop Star 5 on SBS in 2016. She's currently signed with Antenna Music. Her third track on "Give and Take" ("Color You") features singer Sam Kim.

According to her social media post, her new music is currently available on Korean streaming platforms, and will be available on Apple Music and Spotify in other countries later.

AOMG's Simon Dominic is back-- going in with new music and a visual for his latest single - "DAx4." Concert Watch: Eric Nam North America Tour

He announced on social media on March 28, that the dates and venues will be released on Tuesday, April 3, and in a tweet wrote, "I’m coming to a city near you with new music." Just the day before, on March 27, he had announced that his new album was on the way, saying, his "first mini album in 2 years releases April 11," and "You’re gonna love it." According to the artist, ticket information for the upcoming tour will be found at ericnam.com. Eric Nam is a Korean-American singer born in Atlanta. Jay Park Announces new H1GHR MUSIC Artist - Seo Donghyun a.k.a. Big Naughty

During the second and final day of his 2019  Off Route Fest in South Korea, co-CEO/entertainer Jay Park announced the newest member of his second label- H1GHR MUSIC, as rapper/singer Seo Donghyun a.k.a. Big Naughty. Park introduced the young artist on stage, on Oct. 6, in front of a crowd of thousands of people at the music festival, and later posted video of the moment to Instagram. According to Park, Donghyun is now the youngest member of the label (previously that title went to rapper Haon). Big Naughty was a contestant on season eight of the popular South Korean rap competition program - Show Me The Money (SMTM). He was eliminated in the semi-finals. New Music & MV: FANXY CHILD - "Y" featuring Zico, Crush, Dean, Penomeco, Millic & Staytuned

Perhaps one of the best known hip-hop and R&B crews in South Korea, members of FANXY CHILD have teamed up once again to drop a new single and visual titled "Y." The track hit streaming sites on August 9th featuring ZICO, CRUSH, DEAN, PENOMECO and producers MILLIC and STAYTUNED. Previously we've seen them collaborate on such hits and music videos like Millic's "Paradise" and Zico's "Fanxy Child" and "Bermuda Triangle." FANXY CHILD will hold their first concert as a crew on August 10 and 11. Check out their new music below.

Rapper Dok2 talks about working with Jay Park and G-Dragon (from BIGBANG) in Ep. 31 of "Fun With Dumb"

Illionaire Records co-founder Dok2 is a pioneer in the South Korean hip-hop industry, but he rarely gives interviews. Lucky for fans, the rapper sat down on two separate occasions recently to talk about his life and the rise of hip-hop in South Korea. The first interview was for the March 7th face to face with rapper Snacky Chan for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod."   The second was for American rapper Dumbfoundead's March 20th (ep. 31) podcast of "Fun With Dumb." During the podcast, Dok2 provided a mini-history lesson for anyone interested in South Korean hip-hop. Beginning with his early rise, the rapper says he's been making moves in the industry since 2002 when he was 12-years-old. He told Dumbfoundead that he used to attend a school for foreigners in Busan (because of his mixed Korean, Spanish and Filipino heritage), but after 6th grade he moved to Seoul and did not return back to school (due to family financial reasons). NEW NAME FOR BTS MEMBER (formerly Rap Monster)

The leader of the super popular kpop group BTS, from South Korea, has officially changed his name. Kim Nam-joon previously known as Rap Monster, has changed his stage name to RM. Song of The Day: Khea - "Loca" (Remix) featuring Bad Bunny, Duki & Cazzu

The Spanish lyrics are explicit when translated into English, but this Latin Trap remix is so alluring, that you just can't help but to groove to it. Hip-hop artist Khea, from Argentina, dropped his "Loca" remix video featuring Bad Bunny, Duki and Cazzu back in April, and it currently has more than 173-million views on YouTube. The track, with its repetitive beat is about a "crazy" woman on social media, but towards the end of it, we hear the seductive female response from Argentine rapper Cazzu. Jackson Wang Inspired by "Bruce Lee" on New Collab with Al Rocco

Jackson Wang is on a World Tour right now with his kpop idol group GOT7, but the rapper still found time to collaborate with fellow Chinese rapper  Al Rocco , on a track titled "Bruce Lee." The single dropped on July 14, and begins with an audio recording of the martial arts legend, Bruce Lee, as an intro to the song. Produced by Fader One, according to the description released for it, the song "expresses the strength of the Chinese people through the power of music and kung fu." Lyrics with Wang include... Pull a stunt like Bruce Lee. Spit venom on the verse don’t try me.  Everyday stay low key. Throw a jab so fast won’t see me. NEW MUSIC & MV: Faydee - "Trika Trika" feat. Antonia

A hot international collaboration from across the seas. Australian singer Faydee dropped his melodic hip-hop/trap-R&B single - "Trika Trika," featuring Antonia, with an official music video on October 24. According to their online profiles, Antonia is originally from Romania and Faydee is of Lebanese descent. On Instagram, he says the word trika is Arabic for "Leave her" or "Leave it alone." In the visual, the two are styling in all white. Check out the video above. R&B/Soul singer SLCHLD is dealing with the complications of love in his new EP titled "Bittersweet." The South Korean-Canadian artist dropped his new music with producer Whoosh, on November 22. The five-track mini-project includes features with Lym en and KALLITECHNIS. It follows the upload of his emotional song "Huge Mood" on SoundCloud back on November 6th. Check out his new music below.
