NEW ALBUM DROP: Jay Park delivers hard-hitting hip-hop on "The Road Less Traveled" with U.S. and International Artists

They knew it was coming, but fans will still say they weren't ready. Music icon Jay Park dropped his latest LP - "The Road Less Traveled," on June 7th, complete with features from artists and producers from around the world. The 17-track album is hip-hop focused, heavy on the rap lyrics with strong beats, like his 2015 project "Worldwide," but mostly in English with international collaboration.

Features include plenty of collaborations from rappers in his hometown of Seattle, Washington, as well as artists in South Korea and other parts of Asia. His crew from both of his labels (H1GHR MUSIC and AOMG) are also well represented on this project, as well as artists from the label he's signed to - Roc Nation - and beyond.

Standouts on the album include the melodic tracks "For Ourselves," featuring Chloe DeVita and produced by H1GHR MUSIC's Mokyo, as well as "Undefeated," featuring The Flavr Blue, and produced by AOMG's GRAY. Also a favorite - "Legacy," featuring Gifted Gab and Shelby; also produced by GRAY. Park shared this socially conscious track on his YouTube channel back in December.

Jay Park has thus far released three visuals for the LP - "Ben Baller," "GRAYGROUND Cypher," and "Feng Shui" (title track produced by Cha Cha Malone).

For fans looking for his next R&B project, like his 2016 "Everything You Wanted" crooner, Park has previously said that it's on the way after this current album. We could see it later this year, before he hits the road for his SEXY 4EVA WORLD TOUR. A wild Battle of the Bands (Simmons College vs. Kentucky State) during this year's Roots and Heritage festival parade in Lexington

Bigger crowds for the 2024 Roots and Heritage Parade and Battle of the Bands in Lexington, Kentucky. The parade started earlier than usual, at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 7, but still hundreds of people lined the streets to see local organizations along with Bryan Station High school, Central High School, Simmons College of Kentucky and Kentucky State University march down the road. The Parade on Saturday began on Fourth Street and Elm Tree Lane, turned right onto ML King, right onto Fifth Street, right onto Race Street, right onto Third Street and ended on Elm Tree Lane The parade was followed by a wild and exciting Battle of the Bands and band performances. It was held outside the historic Lyric Theatre on East Third Street and Elm Tree Lane. The festival started with an African American marketplace on Friday and wrapped with a gospel celebration on Sunday. Check out the parade and bands below.

Korean-American hip-hop and R&B artist Jay Park, dropped his 4th full album "Everything You Wanted," online on October 19. It includes 19 songs, including "Feature," a sexy bedroom talk track featuring the seductive voice of AOMG producer and long time friend Cha Cha Malone. Jay Park sings on it "this is going to be your favorite song," and it just might be. The album shows Park's vocal range as an R&B artist, and is easy listening for anyone in love, or who wants to be loved, but might make those who are lonely, feel heart-broken. Australian singer William Singe is bringing the heat and heartbreak in a new single and visual titled-- "Love You Like Me." The alt-R&B track hit streaming sites on September 6. New Album Drop: SKULL - "SAJAH" with "YE YE YE YO" MV (feat. SUPERBEE)

South Korean reggae artist SKULL, has released a new album titled "SAJAH." The LP dropped on June 14, along with a music video for one of its tracks --"YE YE YE YO" (featuring SUPERBEE). The visual shows scenes from Kingston, Jamaica and Seoul, South Korea. SKULL had also previously released another visual for the album - Fosho on June 7th, (featuring KOONTA, MION and VIGORMAN).

The Spanish lyrics are explicit when translated into English, but this Latin Trap remix is so alluring, that you just can't help but to groove to it. Hip-hop artist Khea, from Argentina, dropped his "Loca" remix video featuring Bad Bunny, Duki and Cazzu back in April, and it currently has more than 173-million views on YouTube. The track, with its repetitive beat is about a "crazy" woman on social media, but towards the end of it, we hear the seductive female response from Argentine rapper Cazzu.
