Roof Top releases "Ugly Face" MV with New Music - "UNFAIR"


Rappers Blase and Dive In Purple, from Roof Top (and Hive Crew), have just dropped a 3-track banger titled "UNFAIR." The duo from South Korea's SM Entertainment's hip-hop sub-label MILLION MARKET, released their new music produced by GXXD (Girlnexxtdoor) on June 23. It features artists Sik-K and Coogie. Also with the drop, a hot new visual for their track "Ugly Face." Check it out below.

Jay Sean drops visual for new single "With You" ft. Gucci Mane & Asian Doll

British singer Jay Sean has released the official music video for his new single "With You," featuring Gucci Mane and Asian Doll. The Jamar Harding directed visual dropped on April 1st, and in it, there's a lot of booty. The video shows girls in bikinis and balaclavas riding down the road on two-wheel scooters. The actual single hit streaming sites with Republic Records on March 8th, after a long break from the London artist. Check out his new MV below.

NEW NAME FOR BTS MEMBER (formerly Rap Monster)

The leader of the super popular kpop group BTS, from South Korea, has officially changed his name. Kim Nam-joon previously known as Rap Monster, has changed his stage name to RM. Rapper Dok2 talks about working with Jay Park and G-Dragon (from BIGBANG) in Ep. 31 of "Fun With Dumb"

Illionaire Records co-founder Dok2 is a pioneer in the South Korean hip-hop industry, but he rarely gives interviews. Lucky for fans, the rapper sat down on two separate occasions recently to talk about his life and the rise of hip-hop in South Korea. The first interview was for the March 7th face to face with rapper Snacky Chan for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod."   The second was for American rapper Dumbfoundead's March 20th (ep. 31) podcast of "Fun With Dumb." During the podcast, Dok2 provided a mini-history lesson for anyone interested in South Korean hip-hop. Beginning with his early rise, the rapper says he's been making moves in the industry since 2002 when he was 12-years-old. Jay Park Announces new H1GHR MUSIC Artist - Seo Donghyun a.k.a. Big Naughty

During the second and final day of his 2019  Off Route Fest in South Korea, co-CEO/entertainer Jay Park announced the newest member of his second label- H1GHR MUSIC, as rapper/singer Seo Donghyun a.k.a. Big Naughty. Park introduced the young artist on stage, on Oct. 6, in front of a crowd of thousands of people at the music festival, and later posted video of the moment to Instagram. According to Park, Donghyun is now the youngest member of the label (previously that title went to rapper Haon). Big Naughty was a contestant on season eight of the popular South Korean rap competition program - Show Me The Money (SMTM). He was eliminated in the semi-finals. Crush Drops New MV ("Be By My Side") With Earth, Wind & Fire Sample

Korean R&B singer Crush, has dropped his latest music video. It's called "Be By My Side," and it samples the soul, disco and funk band Earth, Wind & Fire. According to the description under the upload on the Amoeba Culture official YouTube Channel, Crush received permission to use the "Brazilian Rhyme" sample. "내 편이 돼줘 (be by my side)" contains elements from "Brazilian Rhyme (Interlude)" written by Maurice White. Published by EMI April Music Inc. Used by permission. All rights reserved. CAZZU and Bizarrap Link Up For "BZRP Music Sessions #32"

Just about every project Argentine rapper and singer CAZZU hops on, turns out to be a hit. Her latest collaboration is no exception. The trap star joins producer Bizarrap for his "BZRP Music Sessions #32." The song and the visual for it, hit streaming sites on August 5. The release follows CAZZU's three-track EP "Bonus Trap," which rolled out in April. 

CONCERT WATCH: BTS World Tour - "Love Yourself "

Fans in love with BTS will get to see the kpop group live in concert in 2018. Big Hit Entertainment, the company for the South Korean boy band, announced on April 26, that the seven member group will be kicking off a "Love Yourself" World Tour on August 25th in Seoul. BTS will then perform in Los Angeles, CA on September 5, 6 & 8,  followed by stops in Oakland, CA, Fort Worth, TX, Hamilton, Ontario, Newark, NJ, Chicago, IL, London, England, Amsterdam (The Netherlands), Berlin, Germany, and Paris, France. A video teaser for the tour has been uploaded on the Big Hit YouTube channel , and more dates are expected to be announced.  Powerhouse Live, a tour management company, has posted on social media that ticket information for the BTS World Tour will be released on April 27, at 7 a.m. (PDT). Avatar Darko Officially Signs With H1GHR MUSIC

Seattle Rapper Avatar Darko, has officially signed with hip-hop label H1GHR MUSIC. The CEOs, Jay Park and Cha Cha Malone, posted the official video on June 5th, to social media of Avatar signing the contract, and receiving his H1GHR MUSIC gold chain.  The new signee is fresh off a U.S. tour with his H1GHR MUSIC labelmates (which wrapped on May 8th in Seattle). South Korean rapper Coogie drops new single as contract with AOMG expires

South Korean artist Coogie dropped his new single "1,2,3,4,5" on January 23, 2025--the same day record label AOMG announced its exclusive contract with the rapper had come to an end. Coogie signed with AOMG in 2022.  He was previously signed under hip-hop label ATMseoul. He became known for his sing-song melodic rap style after participating in the South Korean rap competition series Show Me The Money 777 in 2018.  The translation to AOMG's post on X reads...
