A lot of big names in the music industry were there, including the founder of Roc Nation, Jay-Z, and his beautiful wife Beyoncé. Also there, as part of the Roc Nation label, was musician Jay Park, and the co-CEO of one of his labels (H1GHR MUSIC), Cha Cha Malone. Fans of the four got to share in the moment, with pictures that were uploaded on social media. Jay Park posted photos on Instagram of his meeting with Beyoncé and Jay-Z. While Beyoncé shared pictures that she took with her husband. Mural of Rapper Dumbfoundead Vandalized

The iconic mural of rapper Dumbfoundead painted on the side of Catalina Liquor in Koreatown in Los Angeles, has been vandalized-- that's according to a social media post from the artist. A picture of the vandalism, shows letters spray painted across it. On July 16th, Dumbfoundead thanked painter Joseph Yun Lee and Catalina Liquor on Instagram for "wanting to keep the mural up as long as they did." The mural was originally painted for the rapper's 2016 music video "Murals," a visual off his "We Might Die" album. Last year, he tweeted that he was getting a least one tagged photo a day from fans who had taken a picture in front of it. Dumbfoundead is now asking fans to send pictures or videos they had taken in front of the mural to muralsforever@gmail.com or tag him, so he can use the images in a video. Former 'K-pop Star 5' Singer - Lexie Liu - Now Signed with 88rising

U.S. media company, 88rising, announced a new addition to their label on June 19, with a tweet that read, "Introducing Lexie Liu Boxin to the 88rising gang." The tweet included a link to Lexie Liu's new video, "Like A Mercedes," which dropped on the 88rising YouTube channel. The 19-year-old singer-songwriter from China, might be a familiar face for some kpop fans. According to media reports, in 2015, she participated in K-pop Star 5 , a South Korean competition show, where agencies hold auditions to find potential kpop stars. She came in fourth place, and was offered a deal with one of the largest entertainment companies in South Korea, YG Entertainment, but she later declined. The singer's debut single and mv for 88rising, "Like A Mercedes," centers around a cyberpunk virtual reality storyline, with R&B and melodic hip-hop sounds in English and Chinese. Rapper Dok2 talks about working with Jay Park and G-Dragon (from BIGBANG) in Ep. 31 of "Fun With Dumb"

Illionaire Records co-founder Dok2 is a pioneer in the South Korean hip-hop industry, but he rarely gives interviews. Lucky for fans, the rapper sat down on two separate occasions recently to talk about his life and the rise of hip-hop in South Korea. The first interview was for the March 7th face to face with rapper Snacky Chan for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod." The second was for American rapper Dumbfoundead's March 20th (ep. 31) podcast of "Fun With Dumb." During the podcast, Dok2 provided a mini-history lesson for anyone interested in South Korean hip-hop. Beginning with his early rise, the rapper says he's been making moves in the industry since 2002 when he was 12-years-old. HAON, the newest artist, is also the winner from the Korean hip-hop Mnet survival show, "High School Rapper 2." Beyoncé's Coachella Performance and Tribute to Black College Culture

So this part of being Black is not widely understood or known. The Black college experience is a huge part of African-American culture, which was on full display during singer Beyoncé's historic and epic performance at the 2018 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, CA. Beyoncé is the first black woman to headline Coachella, and on Instagram, Beyoncé's mother, Tina Knowles Lawson, confesses that she had doubts about what was planned for the Coachella crowd. YUGYEOM Shows Off his Dance Moves after Signing to Jay Park's label AOMG

It's official, GOT7's Kim Yugyeom is the latest artist to sign to Jay Park's first label AOMG. The announcement was made at midnight, KST, on February 19. As the newest member of the hip-hop and R&B label, YUGYEOM joins veteran singers, rappers and producers such as Loco, Gray, Simon Dominic, Hoody and Code Kunst, as well as newer artists Woo Won-jae, Sogumm, Punchnello, DeVita and Lee Hi. Jay Park founded AOMG in 2013. YUGYEOM's move to AOMG follows his departure from JYP Entertainment. He and his fellow GOT7 boy band members, who debuted in 2014, left JYP in January, after their contract with the entertainment company expired.
