ISLAND VIBES: Grooving to Ir Sais' new "Dream Girl" Remix & MV featuring Rauw Alejandro

The original track was already intoxicating. Now singer Ir Sais is back with a "Dream Girl" Remix featuring Puerto Rican singer/rapper Rauw Alejandro, who is known for his dancing, as well as his vocals.

Ir Sais hails from Bonaire and the Dominican Republic. His new remix for "Dream Girl" dropped on December 6th. It includes a virtual reality visual, of the two artists making colorful moves with beautiful women. The music video, according to Sais on social media, was shot in Curaçao. Check it out below.

Rapper Dok2 talks about working with Jay Park and G-Dragon (from BIGBANG) in Ep. 31 of "Fun With Dumb"

Illionaire Records co-founder Dok2 is a pioneer in the South Korean hip-hop industry, but he rarely gives interviews. Lucky for fans, the rapper sat down on two separate occasions recently to talk about his life and the rise of hip-hop in South Korea. The first interview was for the March 7th face to face with rapper Snacky Chan for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod."   The second was for American rapper Dumbfoundead's March 20th (ep. 31) podcast of "Fun With Dumb." During the podcast, Dok2 provided a mini-history lesson for anyone interested in South Korean hip-hop. Beginning with his early rise, the rapper says he's been making moves in the industry since 2002 when he was 12-years-old. Perhaps one of the best known hip-hop and R&B crews in South Korea, members of FANXY CHILD have teamed up once again to drop a new single and visual titled "Y." The track hit streaming sites on August 9th featuring ZICO, CRUSH, DEAN, PENOMECO and producers MILLIC and STAYTUNED. Previously we've seen them collaborate on such hits and music videos like Millic's "Paradise" and Zico's "Fanxy Child" and "Bermuda Triangle." NEW NAME FOR BTS MEMBER (formerly Rap Monster)

The leader of the super popular kpop group BTS, from South Korea, has officially changed his name. Kim Nam-joon previously known as Rap Monster, has changed his stage name to RM. The announcement was published on the BTS official fan cafe on November 13.  RM wrote on it, that although he's been called Rap Monster for the past five years, he felt the need to change it, because that title was   getting more and more distant from the music done for the past 5 years.                                                                    -RM (via allkpop)    Back on September 19, 2017, Rap Monster announced on his Beats1Noisey Interview that he would be changing his name to RM. NEW MUSIC DROP: Joji & BlocBoy JB - "Peach Jam"

A new summer song from BlocBoy JB and 88rising artist Joji. "Peach Jam" dropped as a single with an official music video on July 17, with rhythmic sounds from Joji on vocals and BlocBoy JB on the rap flow. This isn't the first collaboration for BlocBoy JB and 88rising. The rapper from Memphis, TN also teamed up with 88rising's Higher Brothers for "Let It Go," which dropped on July 10. Both songs are expected on the upcoming 88rising "Head In The Clouds," collective album on July 20th. Check out the new release below. Mural of Rapper Dumbfoundead Vandalized

The iconic mural of rapper Dumbfoundead painted on the side of Catalina Liquor in Koreatown in Los Angeles, has been vandalized-- that's according to a social media post from the artist. A picture of the vandalism, shows letters spray painted across it. On July 16th, Dumbfoundead thanked painter Joseph Yun Lee and Catalina Liquor on Instagram for "wanting to keep the mural up as long as they did."  The mural was originally painted for the rapper's 2016 music video "Murals," a visual off his "We Might Die" album. Last year, he tweeted that he was getting a least one tagged photo a day from fans who had taken a picture in front of it. Dumbfoundead is now asking fans to send pictures or videos they had taken in front of the mural to muralsforever@gmail.com or tag him, so he can use the images in a video.
