Grooving to R&B from Mexico City. Singer Mariana de Miguel, better known by her stage name, Girl Ultra, dropped her first full-length album - "Nuevos Aires," on November 22nd-- seducing music fans with her tracks "Pena" and "DameLove" (featuring Cuco).
The songs lure you in with Love Jones soundtrack like-vibes from the 90s. Other tracks like "Discreción" and "Escarlata" take you back to the groovy-funk days of the 80s. Mexico is not known for its sounds of R&B, but Girl Ultra is paving the way for other artists like her to get in touch with their 'rhythm and blues.' Check out "Nuevos Aires" below.
