Worth a Listen: EXO-SC debut Hip-Hop EP - "What a Life"

When you involve production from South Korean hip-hop industry heavy hitters, it's hard to go wrong on the final drop. On July 22, EXO's Chanyeol and Sehun released their debut EP as duo EXO-SC. The two are from nine-member South Korean–Chinese K-pop group - EXO, which is based in Seoul.

The sub-unit's-- EXO-SC's new hip-hop album, "What a Life," was produced by hip-hop legend--Dynamic Duo's Gaeko, as well as Devine Channel, Aris Maggiani and AOMG's Gray. The duo also received an assist from Rhythm Power members Hangzoo and Boi B.

The cross-over for the two K-pop SM Entertainment boy band members, includes a visual for two of the EP's three title tracks - "Just us 2" featuring Gaeko (produced by GRAY) and "What a Life" produced by Devine-Channel and Aris Maggiani.

The Extended Play hits the mark, with summer anthems. Not surprising, coming from two artists who belong to one of the top K-pop groups in South Korea. Formed in 2011, the boy band is known for rhythmic crooners like "What is love" and "Baby Don't Cry."

Rapper Sik-K Does The "In My Feelings" (Shiggy) Challenge

H1GHR MUSIC's Sik-K is the latest entertainer to take up the "In My Feelings" Challenge. The Challenge was originally started with a dance in the street on June 30, by comedian Shiggy, to Drake's "In My Feelings" track from his recent "Scorpion" album. Showing her vocal range as an R&B artist, singer Kiana Ledé released "Take It All" on July 13, as one of seven songs on her new EP "Selfless." "Take It All" stands out on the mini album. The mostly acoustic track connects on an emotional level of maturity, which makes it today's Song of The Day. The 21-year-old artist has been active since she was a child, after winning a Kidz Bop's Kidz Star USA talent competition in 2011. Brian Imanuel, who went by the controversial stage name of Rich Chigga, has just changed his name, to just Brian. Posting on social media, the young rapper from Indonesia says he was "naive and made a mistake" with the name 'Rich Chigga.' Dance Moves of The Day: NCT U - Taeyong & Ten - "Baby Don't Stop" Dance Practice

Taeyong and Ten, two of the members from the kpop sub-group NCT U, have swag and a lot of it at that. Most of their fans already knew this, but for newcomers, the dance practice video released by SM Entertainment in South Korea, confirms it. The visual in the official video for "Baby Don't Stop," was already a heart stopper. But now, inside a dance studio, for the dance practice video, Taeyong and Ten make their hard, smooth and sexy hip-hop moves with quick hand and footwork, look even sexier. The choreography is really good, and the song itself is pretty tight. The dance practice (below) was released on March 16, and has over one million views. NEW VIDEO DROP: Kris Wu Releases Beautiful MV for -- "Tian Di"

Melodic hip-hop rapper Kris Wu, is delivering up a beautifully shot cinematic official music video for his new track "Tian Di," which dropped on YouTube on June 11. In the description box, it says the visual, was directed by the artist himself. The mv opens with Kris dressed in traditional clothing, in the middle of a bamboo forest. The actual track for it, was released in Asia, on June 6. Kris Wu, the former EXO, kpop boy band member, originally from China, but raised in Canada -- gained stardom in South Korea, and is now signed with Universal Music Group . In May, under UMG, he debuted the single and mv for "Like That" in English, which now has more than 13 million views. The new single, "Tian Di" is in Chinese. SZA to co-headline Jack Harlow's new Gazebo music festival in Louisville

Kentucky rapper Jack Harlow is once again going big, this time with the launch of a new music festival in his hometown of Louisville. Harlow will co-headline his new two-day Gazebo Festival with grammy-award-winning singer SZA. A total of 26 acts on two stages are also a part of the lineup, including James Blake, Omar Apollo, PinkPantheress and Vince Staples. The event will also highlight Louisville's local food and culture. The festival will take place on May 25 and 26 at Louisville’s Waterfront Park on River Road. A Gazebo mobile app will be available in the app store closer to the festival dates. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will go to non-profit organizations through the Jack Harlow Foundation.
