Up and coming California-based rapper JMIN released his melodic track and visual titled "I Know Why" at the end of June. While the artist is still in the early stages of his music career, he is already receiving international attention after the release of the video for his song “Spaceship” on the 'No Jumper' YouTube channel last September.

According to his online profile on GENIUS, JMIN (aka Jonathan Min), is 18-years-old, and moved to Los Angeles from Florida, in the 9th grade. Check out his music and video below.

SZA to co-headline Jack Harlow's new Gazebo music festival in Louisville

Kentucky rapper Jack Harlow is once again going big, this time with the launch of a new music festival in his hometown of Louisville.  Harlow will co-headline his new two-day Gazebo Festival with grammy-award-winning singer SZA. A total of 26 acts on two stages are also a part of the lineup, including James Blake, Omar Apollo, PinkPantheress and Vince Staples. The event will also highlight Louisville's local food and culture. The festival will take place on May 25 and 26 at Louisville’s Waterfront Park on River Road. A Gazebo mobile app will be available in the app store closer to the festival dates. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will go to non-profit organizations through the Jack Harlow Foundation. New Music: South Korean R&B singer MELOH returns with Self-titled EP

Fans have been watching for South Korean singer MELOH ever since he hit the stage for AOMG's Signhere  audition TV show program in 2019 on MBN. While he didn't finish first, he did make it to the finals with his smooth vocals.  Fast forward to 2021, and MELOH is back with his first EP, titled "MELOH," and signed to the new hip-hop label-- Daytona Entertainment, founded by The Quiett and Yumdda. MELOH's new self-titled R&B mini-album hit streaming sites on January 2. Hot New Music: Jack Harlow - "First Class," Paulo Londra - "Chance" and ChaMane - "26"

Hip-hop is dominating the charts from around the world. During the week ending April 9, some hot new music hit streaming sites, including new hits from Louisville, KY rapper Jack Harlow, Argentine artist Paulo Londra and South Korean rapper ChaMane. Jack Harlow's banger "First Class" rolled out on streaming sites on April 8, with an official visualizer (that's currently trending on YouTube) just days after a preview of the song on social media with the artist in the studio went viral. The rapper samples Fergie’s 2006 hit “Glamorous” in "First Class." According to Chart Data, the new song has already topped the global Spotify chart and has earned the biggest chart debut of the year. SONG of The Week: EXO - "Ya Ya Ya" - with a sample from SWV- “You’re the One”

It's that 90s sample that makes the song. On November 27, Kpop group EXO released their sixth album titled "OBSESSION." On it, the track "Ya Ya Ya," which samples American R&B trio-- SWV, and their 1996 hit-- “You’re the One.” The new song from EXO, "Ya Ya Ya," was co-produced by Dem Jointz, who’s previously worked with Dr. Dre, Anderson .Paak and ScHoolboy Q, according to Genius.com. The vocals on the song include the current six active members of the group... Sehun, Chen, Chanyeol, Kai, Baekhyun, and Suho. And it's the loop of that SWV sample throughout the track, that makes you want to hear the song over and over again, after you first hit play. The repeat-- for the club, campus, home or car. Rapper Shotta Spence Shares his Mother's Story

Shotta Spence, the 21-year-old up and coming rapper from New Jersey, shared part of his mother's journey from Vietnam, on Instagram, on Monday, September 4, as he wished her a Happy Birthday, and thanked her for supporting him as an artist. In his post, Shotta Spence (Spence Lee) wrote that when his mother was a little girl in Vietnam,  "the communist North had taken everything from her family. During the war, her parents and siblings had to escape further south in a TANK. The South Vietnamese and the Americans were losing the war, and she got separated from her family in the chaos. U.S. soldiers evacuated her via "Operation Babylift" ... on the LAST flight out." Golden Changes Name Back to G.Soul After Contract Ends With H1GHR MUSIC

Days after record label H1GHR MUSIC announced its contract with singer Golden had come to an end, the artist on Sunday, January 10, tweeted on Twitter he was changing his stage name back to G.Soul.   The singer Kim Ji-hyun, had been going by the moniker Golden since December 2019 . But fans first got to know the South Korean soulful artist as G.Soul, when he debuted under JYP Entertainment with the release of his EP "Coming Home" in 2015. His debut came after training under JYP for 15 years. In 2017, G.Soul left JYP and joined H1GHR MUSIC, where he released "Circles," "Hate Everything" and "Another Sad Love Song." H1GHR MUSIC's Mokyo shares new "Daddy" single & MV for "people suffering from domestic violence"

A dark and somber look into the world of H1GHR MUSIC singer Mokyo. The artist dropped the visual for his new song "Daddy" on March 8th on YouTube. On social media he writes that the single is for "people suffering from domestic violence." In the chilling cinematic video for "Daddy," Mokyo (also known as producer Thurxday) wanders from a cemetery to the streets and vast lands and waters with a hole in his body. The finale of it includes a heart-stopping emotional end, which could leave you in tears. The new music video follows the March 2nd debut release of Mokyo as a singer-songwriter for H1GHR MUSIC, which included the drop of "Something," a track and MV focused on the interaction between mother and son.

Avatar Darko Officially Signs With H1GHR MUSIC

Seattle Rapper Avatar Darko, has officially signed with hip-hop label H1GHR MUSIC. The CEOs, Jay Park and Cha Cha Malone, posted the official video on June 5th, to social media of Avatar signing the contract, and receiving his H1GHR MUSIC gold chain.  The new signee is fresh off a U.S. tour with his H1GHR MUSIC labelmates (which wrapped on May 8th in Seattle). He also hit the stage with them back in March, for South by Southwest.
