Fans twerk to BM's #breakyourbackchallenge off his new track "OO YEAH aka YOURFAVORITETWERKSONG"

The latest song to get you twerking, comes from Korean-American rapper BM (of KARD). Big Mattheww uploaded his self-produced track "OO YEAH aka YOURFAVORITETWERKSONG," to SoundCloud on January 30th.

On January 31st, after dancing to the song himself on V LIVE, BM issued the challenge saying in a tweet, that everyone on V LIVE told him to start it. Since then, he's gotten dozens of responses from fans on Twitter, including a video he posted to Instagram, of three young ladies twerking around an apartment/home, to his song.

New Music & MV: FANXY CHILD - "Y" featuring Zico, Crush, Dean, Penomeco, Millic & Staytuned

Perhaps one of the best known hip-hop and R&B crews in South Korea, members of FANXY CHILD have teamed up once again to drop a new single and visual titled "Y." The track hit streaming sites on August 9th featuring ZICO, CRUSH, DEAN, PENOMECO and producers MILLIC and STAYTUNED. Previously we've seen them collaborate on such hits and music videos like Millic's "Paradise" and Zico's "Fanxy Child" and "Bermuda Triangle." FANXY CHILD will hold their first concert as a crew on August 10 and 11. Check out their new music below.

Rapper Dok2 talks about working with Jay Park and G-Dragon (from BIGBANG) in Ep. 31 of "Fun With Dumb"

Illionaire Records co-founder Dok2 is a pioneer in the South Korean hip-hop industry, but he rarely gives interviews. Lucky for fans, the rapper sat down on two separate occasions recently to talk about his life and the rise of hip-hop in South Korea. The first interview was for the March 7th face to face with rapper Snacky Chan for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod."   The second was for American rapper Dumbfoundead's March 20th (ep. 31) podcast of "Fun With Dumb." During the podcast, Dok2 provided a mini-history lesson for anyone interested in South Korean hip-hop. Beginning with his early rise, the rapper says he's been making moves in the industry since 2002 when he was 12-years-old. He announced on social media on March 28, that the dates and venues will be released on Tuesday, April 3, and in a tweet wrote, "I’m coming to a city near you with new music." Just the day before, on March 27, he had announced that his new album was on the way, saying, his "first mini album in 2 years releases April 11," and "You’re gonna love it." According to the artist, ticket information for the upcoming tour will be found at ericnam.com. Eric Nam is a Korean-American singer born in Atlanta. NEW NAME FOR BTS MEMBER (formerly Rap Monster)

The leader of the super popular kpop group BTS, from South Korea, has officially changed his name. Kim Nam-joon previously known as Rap Monster, has changed his stage name to RM. The announcement was published on the BTS official fan cafe on November 13.  RM wrote on it, that although he's been called Rap Monster for the past five years, he felt the need to change it, because that title was   getting more and more distant from the music done for the past 5 years.                                                                    -RM (via allkpop)    Back on September 19, 2017, Rap Monster announced on his Beats1Noisey Interview that he would be changing his name to RM. Jay Park Announces new H1GHR MUSIC Artist - Seo Donghyun a.k.a. Big Naughty

During the second and final day of his 2019  Off Route Fest in South Korea, co-CEO/entertainer Jay Park announced the newest member of his second label- H1GHR MUSIC, as rapper/singer Seo Donghyun a.k.a. Big Naughty. Park introduced the young artist on stage, on Oct. 6, in front of a crowd of thousands of people at the music festival, and later posted video of the moment to Instagram. According to Park, Donghyun is now the youngest member of the label (previously that title went to rapper Haon). Big Naughty was a contestant on season eight of the popular South Korean rap competition program - Show Me The Money (SMTM). He was eliminated in the semi-finals. Bruno Mars shares Behind the Scenes clip from the Making of "24K Magic"

Bruno Mars has shared a never before seen clip of the making of "24K Magic," the title track and lead single from his third studio album (of the same name). On June 27, the singer uploaded video on Twitter and Instagram, and wrote that he found it in his cell phone.  The video shows producer Brody Brown and Mars trying to figure out the groove for "24k Magic" in 2015. According to Bruno Mars, they tried nearly 100 different patterns and pockets to finally land what we hear today (a Zapp & Roger inspired track). Song of The Day: Khea - "Loca" (Remix) featuring Bad Bunny, Duki & Cazzu

The Spanish lyrics are explicit when translated into English, but this Latin Trap remix is so alluring, that you just can't help but to groove to it. Hip-hop artist Khea, from Argentina, dropped his "Loca" remix video featuring Bad Bunny, Duki and Cazzu back in April, and it currently has more than 173-million views on YouTube. The track, with its repetitive beat is about a "crazy" woman on social media, but towards the end of it, we hear the seductive female response from Argentine rapper Cazzu.
