Rapper Dok2 announces Canada and Europe "Thunderground" World Tour

Illionaire Records co-founder Dok2 is going on tour. The rapper announced on July 29, that he'll be hitting cities in Canada and Europe beginning Sunday, September 1st for his "Thunderground" World Tour.

Tickets will be available on Monday, August 5th at 3 P.M. You can find more information at dok2gonzoworldtour.com. INLet'sGo! had the opportunity to see the rapper and Illionaire's co-founder The Quiett in Atlanta in 2016. Check out the video below...

Rapper Dok2 talks about working with Jay Park and G-Dragon (from BIGBANG) in Ep. 31 of "Fun With Dumb"

Illionaire Records co-founder Dok2 is a pioneer in the South Korean hip-hop industry, but he rarely gives interviews. Lucky for fans, the rapper sat down on two separate occasions recently to talk about his life and the rise of hip-hop in South Korea. The first interview was for the March 7th face to face with rapper Snacky Chan for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod."   The second was for American rapper Dumbfoundead's March 20th (ep. 31) podcast of "Fun With Dumb." During the podcast, Dok2 provided a mini-history lesson for anyone interested in South Korean hip-hop. Beginning with his early rise, the rapper says he's been making moves in the industry since 2002 when he was 12-years-old. He told Dumbfoundead that he used to attend a school for foreigners in Busan (because of his mixed Korean, Spanish and Filipino heritage), but after 6th grade he moved to Seoul and did not return back to school (due to family financial reasons). Perhaps one of the best known hip-hop and R&B crews in South Korea, members of FANXY CHILD have teamed up once again to drop a new single and visual titled "Y." The track hit streaming sites on August 9th featuring ZICO, CRUSH, DEAN, PENOMECO and producers MILLIC and STAYTUNED. Previously we've seen them collaborate on such hits and music videos like Millic's "Paradise" and Zico's "Fanxy Child" and "Bermuda Triangle." Bruno Mars shares Behind the Scenes clip from the Making of "24K Magic"

Bruno Mars has shared a never before seen clip of the making of "24K Magic," the title track and lead single from his third studio album (of the same name). On June 27, the singer uploaded video on Twitter and Instagram, and wrote that he found it in his cell phone.  The video shows producer Brody Brown and Mars trying to figure out the groove for "24k Magic" in 2015. According to Bruno Mars, they tried nearly 100 different patterns and pockets to finally land what we hear today (a Zapp & Roger inspired track). Former 'K-pop Star 5' Singer - Lexie Liu - Now Signed with 88rising

U.S. media company, 88rising, announced a new addition to their label on June 19, with a tweet that read, "Introducing Lexie Liu Boxin to the 88rising gang." The tweet included a link to Lexie Liu's new video, "Like A Mercedes," which dropped on the 88rising YouTube channel. The 19-year-old singer-songwriter from China, might be a familiar face for some kpop fans. According to media reports, in 2015, she participated in K-pop Star 5 , a South Korean competition show, where agencies hold auditions to find potential kpop stars. She came in fourth place, and was offered a deal with one of the largest entertainment companies in South Korea, YG Entertainment, but she later declined. The singer's debut single and mv for 88rising, "Like A Mercedes," centers around a cyberpunk virtual reality storyline, with R&B and melodic hip-hop sounds in English and Chinese. Song of the Day: Jay Park - "Whenever"

Jay Park dropped his R&B single "Whenever" one year ago, on July 23, 2025.  Crooning "call me whenever" in an English and Japanese version.  The Japanese version includes a passionate live clip on YouTube from part one of his Serenades & Body Rolls tour last year in Japan. Since then, Park has announced part two for 2026 , which includes his More Vision South Korean boy band LNGSHOT.  This second leg of the tour kicks off on September 3 in São Paulo, Brazil with stops in Mexico, North America and Europe. No word if he'll perform this song, but for now, Jay Park's "Whenever" is today's Song of the Day.

Song of The Day: Kiana Ledé - "Take It All"

Showing her vocal range as an R&B artist, singer Kiana Ledé released "Take It All" on July 13, as one of seven songs on her new EP "Selfless." "Take It All" stands out on the mini album. The mostly acoustic track connects on an emotional level of maturity, which makes it today's Song of The Day. The 21-year-old artist has been active since she was a child, after winning a  Kidz Bop's Kidz Star USA talent competition in 2011. Tickets for Jay Park's "Serenades & Body Rolls" tour featuring LNGSHOT are going fast

Fans hoping to get a ticket to the second part of Jay Park's "Serenades & Body Rolls" tour featuring his new KPOP group LNGSHOT may be out of luck soon. Tickets are going fast.  Park announced on June 9th he and his group would be hitting the stage in September and October. Tickets for the general public went on sale on Friday, June 12th, with many venues close to selling out seats near the main stage by Sunday, June 14th. Park first announced his "Serenades & Body Rolls" tour in February 2025, hitting cities in Asia. This time around, he and his new boy band will perform in the United States, Europe and South America, his first in the U.S. in seven years and the first in South America. The Newest Member of AOMG - CODE KUNST - Drops Emotional Track & MV - "Rain Bird" feat. Tablo & Colde

Former HIGHGRND Producer, Code Kunst, is now the newest member of AOMG -- the Korean hip-hop (and R&B) label run by Jay Park and Simon Dominic.  AOMG revealed the news to fans on June 10, with the release of Code Kunst's new single and music video, "Rain Bird," featuring his former YG Entertainment- HIGHGRND sub-labelmates, Tablo (of Epik High) and Colde (from offonoff). HIGHGRND was founded by Tablo in 2015. He stepped down from his position in 2017. According to Soompi magazine, HIGHGRND is now a part of YG Entertainment’s subsidiary, YGX, with BIGBANG’s Seungri as the CEO. Colde is now with WAVY. Jay Park gets a little ratchet in LA's Koreatown, in his new music video release -- "K-TOWN" with Hit-Boy. The visual dropped on May 17, just hours after the single hit streaming sites. H1GHR MUSIC Tour Recap - The Final Stop - With Jay Park In Seattle

A lot happened during the final stop of the 2018 H1GHR MUSIC tour. The Seattle, WA concert included performances of unreleased tracks, a b-boy dance break from AOM, a music video shoot in the middle of the venue, and a surprise appearance from label co-CEO Jay Park. It all went down at The Showbox on May 8th. The night started with DJ RocRyte pumping up the crowd for Ted Park, who hit the stage with melodic energy.  Woodie Gochild delivered next with "Let's Get It," -- dancing and spitting fire, even during Jay Park's verse.  Phe Reds followed, captivating everyone with a mesmerizing version of Blackstreet's "No Diggity" and his hit song "Smile."
