NEW MUSIC: Paloalto drops "Love, Money & Dreams, Part 3" featuring Ted Park & pH-1 for second track - "ijuswanna"


Hi-Lite Records founder Paloalto is back with part three of  "Love, Money & Dreams." It dropped on July 26. Part one rolled out in May and part two hit streaming sites in June, featuring BewhY on the track "Promised Land."

This time around, Paloalto has enlisted H1GHR MUSIC's Ted Park and pH-1, for the second track of the new double single. Their Holymoley! produced song titled "ijuswanna," includes melodic lyrics in English and Korean on a bouncy beat. The first song of the release, "Move On," was produced by Big Banana. NEW ALBUM DROP: Jay Park delivers hard-hitting hip-hop on "The Road Less Traveled" with U.S. and International Artists

They knew it was coming, but fans will still say they weren't ready. Music icon Jay Park dropped his latest LP - "The Road Less Traveled," on June 7th, complete with features from artists and producers from around the world. The 17-track album is hip-hop focused, heavy on the rap lyrics with strong beats, like his 2015 project "Worldwide," but mostly in English with international collaboration. Features include plenty of collaborations from rappers in his hometown of Seattle, Washington, as well as artists in South Korea and other parts of Asia. His crew from both of his labels (H1GHR MUSIC and AOMG) are also well represented on this project, as well as artists from the label he's signed to - Roc Nation - and beyond. AOMG Drops Tour Dates & Cities for North American leg of Jay Park's SEXY 4EVA WORLD TOUR - U.S. & Canada

As a response to requests from fans, AOMG announced the North America tour dates and cities for Jay Park's SEXY 4EVA WORLD TOUR on June 10th, with a caption on Instagram saying "North America, we heard you!" Jay Park will hit the stage in the following cities this fall... 11/04 (MON) LOS ANGELES 11/06 (WED) SAN FRANCISCO 11/08 (FRI) CALGARY 11/10 (SUN) VANCOUVER 11/12 (TUE) TORONTO 11/14 (THU) NEW YORK 11/16 (SAT) MIAMI 11/18 (MON) ATLANTA 11/20 (WED) DALLAS 11/22 (FRI) MINNEAPOLIS 11/24 (SUN) CHICAGO 11/27 (WED) HAWAII 12/01 (SUN) SEATTLE Park's European leg of the world tour begins in October. CONCERT WATCH: BTS World Tour - "Love Yourself "

Fans in love with BTS will get to see the kpop group live in concert in 2018. Big Hit Entertainment, the company for the South Korean boy band, announced on April 26, that the seven member group will be kicking off a "Love Yourself" World Tour on August 25th in Seoul. BTS will then perform in Los Angeles, CA on September 5, 6 & 8,  followed by stops in Oakland, CA, Fort Worth, TX, Hamilton, Ontario, Newark, NJ, Chicago, IL, London, England, Amsterdam (The Netherlands), Berlin, Germany, and Paris, France. A video teaser for the tour has been uploaded on the Big Hit YouTube channel , and more dates are expected to be announced.  Powerhouse Live, a tour management company, has posted on social media that ticket information for the BTS World Tour will be released on April 27, at 7 a.m. (PDT). New Music: "BLOO IN WONDERLAND" (feat. niahn & nafla) & "I'm the one" MV

Rapper BLOO from MKIT RAIN‏, has returned with his second mini album. "BLOO IN WONDERLAND" (featuring niahn and labelmate nafla) dropped on November 19, with an official music video for its BIG BANANA produced track "I'm the one." In the visual, BLOO (with a melodic flat electric delivery), has taken on the character of a man in an intimate relationship with a beautiful woman. The song, as well as other tracks on the EP, include partial lyrics in English. The mini-album also includes the pre-released single "Take me" (feat. nafla). The label he's with, MKIT RAIN, is a LA based hip-hop label, with artists who create South Korean content. BLOO, released his first EP, "Downtown Baby," back in 2017. Russ comes to terms with the end of a relationship in new song - "Last Night"

In his new song "Last Night," artist Russ croons about the final moments of a lost love. The track dropped on September 23 with emotional lyrics: "I didn't know that last night was our last night together, did you? / I didn't know today was the day I was gonna say goodbye to you / Do you know that I love you, know that I want you to stay? / I didn't know today was the day I was gonna say goodbye to you." "When you were layin on my chest I didn't know (did you, did you?) / When that screen went black and credits rolled (did you, did you?) / Did you know, the sun was on its way? / Did you know? / I wish you told me (I wish you told me)." On social media, Russ posted that his therapist had tasked him with the exercise of writing a lyric that summarizes the grief that he had been processing, and "Last Night" was the end result. Rapper Dok2 talks about his personal life and South Korean hip-hop - in English ("Kill Bill") interview with Snacky Chan for "Undergod"

On the March 7th episode of ' Target: Billboard - Kill Bill,' legendary rapper Dok2 brought a number of notable Korean (and Korean-American) rappers out on stage with him to perform his latest song. The show ' Kill Bill'  is an MBC hip-hop survival program which aims to put a South Korean hip-hop artist on the Billboard charts with a collaboration with DJ Khaled. Artists who hit the stage with Dok2 during this episode were Snacky Chan, Changmo, Double K, Deepflow, Los, Young B, Pyunny, Keem Hyo-Eun, Junoflo and Nucksal. After the show, Dok2 and Snacky Chan went backstage to record an interview for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod." During their one on one, Dok2 compares hip-hop styles of trap and boom bap. Drake and Jack Harlow shoot music video during The Kentucky Derby for song "Churchill Downs"

On the eve of the 148th running of the Kentucky Derby, Louisville native and rapper, 24-year-old Jack Harlow dropped his new album- "Come Home the Kids Miss You." The project hit streaming sites on May 6th, one day before the May 7th Derby at the Churchill Downs horse-racetrack in Louisville.  Harlow's album includes the Drake-assisted song "Churchill Downs," in which the two rappers share lyrics of introspection before Drake wraps up the more than five minute track with... "Kentucky derby races, my presence in the spot is so abrasive. Box at the Churchill Downs, that's motivation, yeah. And shorty like, "You know that boy Jack is goin' places."    The lyrics in Drake's verse were a prelude to what was to come. Female Rapper Celebrates Driving in Saudi Arabia - with a Hip-Hop Video

by Nefertiti Jenkins Leesa A is a hip-hop artist in Saudi Arabia, and she's celebrating the fact, that she can now legally drive a car in her home country. According to BBC News , the law officially changed on June 24, ending the decades-old ban, in which women in Saudi Arabia could not drive, and "families had to hire private chauffeurs for female relatives." The change was announced last September, and the first licenses were issued earlier this month, according to the BBC. Soon after the ban was lifted, Leesa uploaded a rap video to Instagram and YouTube, showing the young woman, behind the wheel of a car spitting bars. The video has been shared extensively on social media, including by actress Jada Pinkett Smith, who also included the lyrics translated in English, under her caption for her post on Instagram. According to the BBC, when Leesa refers to the tenth, that's a reference to the date of June 24, in the lunar-based Islamic calendar. Check out t

The queen of R&B is back with two new singles. Ahead of a February album drop, singer Mary J. Blige released "Good Morning Gorgeous" with a visual, and "Amazing," featuring DJ Khaled on December 3. The first, "Good Morning Gorgeous" is a track of self-empowerment, self-reflection and self-love, connecting with everyone moving forward after the hurt, stress and pains of life--the single reminiscent of the vibe from Blige's 1994 "My Life" album.
