New Music On The Way - Junoflo, DPR LIVE, Loco, Woogie, & Maniac (with Jay Park as feature)

There's a lot of good music dropping soon for khip-hop fans.  Some of our favorite artists from Korea have releases coming out the week of March 11, and hip-hop mogul Jay Park features on a few of the tracks.


Monday, March 12
-First up, is rapper Maniac. He's dropping music on March 12, titled "Money Makerz," featuring Jessi and Jay Park. The teaser for it was uploaded on March 8.

Tuesday, March 13
-Hip-hop artist Junoflo (from Feel Ghood Music) drops his EP, "Only Human," on Tuesday, March 13. On the same day, the visual for the track "Grapevine" from the album, featuring Jay Park, will also be released.


Tuesday, March 13
-Also on Tuesday, March 13, artist DPR LIVE (from Dream Perfect Regime) is dropping a single audio, called "Action!" featuring Gray (from AOMG).


Wednesday, March 14
-AOMG rapper Loco will release "Post It" featuring Jay Park on March 14, at 6 p.m. (KST).  The first teaser uploaded on social media, had fans thinking that they had lost their wi-fi connection after clicking on the video. The post below is from the third teaser...

 
Thursday, March 15
 -Ja Mezz releases Toruk Makto ft. Jay Park, Koonta, Skull (and produced by GroovyRoom) on March 15. Ja Mezz also dropping another release on this date, 錬金術 (Alchemy), featuring Dok2 and Mino from Winner. 


Friday, March 23
-H1GHR MUSIC's producer Woogie Park releases his first EP "Rewind My Tape part 1" on March 23. He has a listening session for it at L7 Hotels in Hongdae, Seoul, South Korea on March 17.

Rapper Dok2 talks about working with Jay Park and G-Dragon (from BIGBANG) in Ep. 31 of "Fun With Dumb"

Illionaire Records co-founder Dok2 is a pioneer in the South Korean hip-hop industry, but he rarely gives interviews. Lucky for fans, the rapper sat down on two separate occasions recently to talk about his life and the rise of hip-hop in South Korea. The first interview was for the March 7th face to face with rapper Snacky Chan for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod."   The second was for American rapper Dumbfoundead's March 20th (ep. 31) podcast of "Fun With Dumb." During the podcast, Dok2 provided a mini-history lesson for anyone interested in South Korean hip-hop. Beginning with his early rise, the rapper says he's been making moves in the industry since 2002 when he was 12-years-old. He told Dumbfoundead that he used to attend a school for foreigners in Busan (because of his mixed Korean, Spanish and Filipino heritage), but after 6th grade he moved to Seoul and did not return back to school (due to family financial reasons). Jay Sean drops visual for new single "With You" ft. Gucci Mane & Asian Doll

British singer Jay Sean has released the official music video for his new single "With You," featuring Gucci Mane and Asian Doll. The Jamar Harding directed visual dropped on April 1st, and in it, there's a lot of booty. The video shows girls in bikinis and balaclavas riding down the road on two-wheel scooters. The actual single hit streaming sites with Republic Records on March 8th, after a long break from the London artist. Check out his new MV below.

Fans still have questions about ECÂF after the release of Ruel's new single & MV - "Face To Face"

(Updated September 10) - Ruel has dropped the Behind The Scenes video for "Face To Face." On Sept. 10, he revealed that the actress portraying ECÂF in the music video and on Twitter, is named Tatiana. And the person who sings the vocals for her single release, "Pictures," is actually Ruel's sister Coco. Original Post (08/11/19) ... New Video Drop: OFFONOFF - "homeless door" (Feat. Rad Museum)

It's been exactly one year since the release of their debut album "Boy," and South Korean R&B duo OffOnOff (consisting of Colde and 0channel), have now released an emotional music video for one of its tracks to mark the anniversary. The visual for "homeless door" featuring Rad Museum, dropped on July 24. The mostly black and white video was directed by YEOMWOOJIN, KIMBONGMIN and OFFONOFF. Check it out below. SONG OF THE DAY: Chaanill and Xydo - "Don't Worry" (a Poison Holyc collaboration)

With smooth R&B vocals, singers Chaanill and Xydo from Poison Holyc, uploaded their collaboration "Don't Worry," on SoundCloud back in June. The soulful melody has a positive message that is worth putting on repeat. The hook for the therapeutic lyrics include... Don't worry my Mom / don't worry my father / So I'm gonna make it vibe /and gonna make a smile. Chaanill and Xydo are just two of the solo artists representing the South Korean crew Poison Holyc. Yultron and Jay Park release EP collaboration & MV - "On Fire"

The music is always good when Jay Park and EDM DJ/producer Yultron link up. They've been throwing out hits together for the past couple of years. Their popular track, "Forget About Tomorrow," currently has more than six million views on YouTube. That visual dropped in January of 2018. Now the two are promoting an EP, titled "On Fire." Their latest collaboration hit streaming sites on August 30. An official music video was also released, featuring the two, for the title track, another electric dance number. Their second song on the mini-album, "West Coast," was pre-released in July. The new EP has a total of four tracks. It includes features from Sik-K, pH-1 and Haon.

Representing That Caribbean Vibe: Tainy - "LENTO" feat. Sean Paul, Mozart La Para & Cazzu

Puerto Rican producer Tainy has rounded up Jamaican heavy-hitter Sean Paul and newer stars Mozart La Para from the Dominican Republic, and Cazzu from Argentina, for a pulsating dembow/dancehall jam titled "LENTO," which hit music streaming sites, along with a music video on January 31. The track is off Tainy's forthcoming album - "The Kids That Grew Up on Reggaeton." Check out the visual for the new single above.

New Video Drop (Review): H1GHR MUSIC's - WOOGIE - "ROLLING STONES" (Feat. Car, the Garden)

Taking us back to the 70s with a vintage movie themed visual, H1GHR MUSIC producer Woogie, has released his new music video and single "Rolling Stones," which is from the upcoming EP, "Rewind My Tape part 1." The video, featuring singer 'Car, the Garden' was uploaded to the H1GHR MUSIC YouTube channel on March 18. And even before you watch it... one look at the artwork released for the track, and you're immediately reminded of Rolling Stone Magazine, and if you're old enough to remember, the Rolling Stones rock band (both got their name from a 1950s song by Muddy Waters, titled Rollin' Stone). And then, there's the 1972 remake by The Temptations (of a single from The Undisputed Truth) called "Papa Was a Rollin' Stone." Mural of Rapper Dumbfoundead Vandalized

The iconic mural of rapper Dumbfoundead painted on the side of Catalina Liquor in Koreatown in Los Angeles, has been vandalized-- that's according to a social media post from the artist. A picture of the vandalism, shows letters spray painted across it. On July 16th, Dumbfoundead thanked painter Joseph Yun Lee and Catalina Liquor on Instagram for "wanting to keep the mural up as long as they did."  The mural was originally painted for the rapper's 2016 music video "Murals," a visual off his "We Might Die" album. Last year, he tweeted that he was getting a least one tagged photo a day from fans who had taken a picture in front of it. Dumbfoundead is now asking fans to send pictures or videos they had taken in front of the mural to muralsforever@gmail.com or tag him, so he can use the images in a video. Australian singer William Singe is bringing the heat and heartbreak in a new single and visual titled-- "Love You Like Me."  The alt-R&B track hit streaming sites on September 6.
