Concert Watch: AOMG In London This Summer - Gray, Loco, Woo Won Jae and DJ Pumkin

London are you ready?  Artists from the hip-hop label AOMG will be hitting your city this summer. The Cult of Ya is bringing producer Gray, rapper Loco, new artist Woo Won Jae and DJ Pumkin to the Troxy on July 21.

You might recall, the Cult of Ya was responsible for bringing Jay Park, Sik-K, Hoody and DJ Wegun to the Troxy earlier this year, in February. Jay Park along with Simon Dominic are the CEOs of AOMG. (Park is also signed with Roc Nation, and is also the co-CEO of H1GHR MUSIC, along with Cha Cha Malone.)

According to the Cult of Ya, tickets to see Gray, Loco, Woo Won Jae and DJ Pumkin will go on sale on Sunday, March 25, at 12 p.m. UK Time. They have more information about the concert on the website for the Troxy.

Often cited as one of the most renowned producers and vocalists in the Korean hip hop and R&B industry, Gray has produced mega-hits including "We Are", "Drive" and "Mommae" with fellow AOMG artists Jay Park, Loco and Woo Won Jae. He has also produced for DPR Live, Bewhy, Dean, Simon Dominic, Dok2, and Zion T just to name a few. As an incredible vocalist himself, he has dropped numerous hits including "GOOD", "Respect", and the iconic "Just Do It". He starred as a judge on Korean hip hop survival show "Show Me The Money" and is currently starring in "Hyena On The Keyboard" as Korea's hottest singer-songwriter.

As a co-headliner to the show is Loco, another megastar from AOMG, and the winner of Show Me The Money in 2012. Not only did Loco drop major hits in the last few years including "Hold Me Tight" and "Still" with Crush, "You Too" with Cha Cha Malone, "Bleached" was a top 10 album in 2017 Korean charts. His hit "Spring is Gone by Chance" also won the Best OST in 2015.

Young and clearly the next artist to reign in the Korean hip hop throne is Woo Won Jae, who signed to AOMG after his spectacular rise to fame after his appearances in "Show Me The Money". Taking the scene by storm, Woo Won Jae already has a #1 hit in Korean charts with the megahit "We Are" featuring fellow AOMG artists Gray and Loco, an incredible feat by a new artist. Of further note, his new tracks "Zinza" and "Again" are already garnering major industry attention and has dropped the track "Nostalgia", a OST to Korean TV series Prison Playbook.

Rapper Dok2 talks about working with Jay Park and G-Dragon (from BIGBANG) in Ep. 31 of "Fun With Dumb"

Illionaire Records co-founder Dok2 is a pioneer in the South Korean hip-hop industry, but he rarely gives interviews. Lucky for fans, the rapper sat down on two separate occasions recently to talk about his life and the rise of hip-hop in South Korea. The first interview was for the March 7th face to face with rapper Snacky Chan for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod."   The second was for American rapper Dumbfoundead's March 20th (ep. 31) podcast of "Fun With Dumb." During the podcast, Dok2 provided a mini-history lesson for anyone interested in South Korean hip-hop. South African singer-songwriter Tyla is one of the hottest rising stars of 2023. She's currently taking over social media with her TikTok viral dance challenge from her latest single- “Water.” The song hit streaming sites in July. The official music video arrived on YouTube on October 6. It's currently (as of this writing) trending #26 on the site with nearly 13 million views.  According to Billboard, “Water” has also climbed to #1 on Billboard’s U.S. Afrobeats Songs Chart, dated Oct. 21-- stopping the record 58-week streak from Rema and Selena Gomez’s “Calm Down,” which had led the list since Sept. 10, 2022. “Water” marks Tyla's first top spot on any Billboard chart.  The 21-year-old Johannesburg native debuted with her first music video: "Getting Late," featuring Kooldrink in 2021. South Korean rapper Coogie drops new single as contract with AOMG expires

South Korean artist Coogie dropped his new single "1,2,3,4,5" on January 23, 2025--the same day record label AOMG announced its exclusive contract with the rapper had come to an end. Coogie signed with AOMG in 2022.  He was previously signed under hip-hop label ATMseoul. He became known for his sing-song melodic rap style after participating in the South Korean rap competition series Show Me The Money 777 in 2018.  The translation to AOMG's post on X reads... A lot of big names in the music industry were there, including the founder of Roc Nation, Jay-Z, and his beautiful wife Beyoncé. AOMG's Simon Dominic is back-- going in with new music and a visual for his latest single - "DAx4." He's roasting 'haters' with his flow... and boasting that he'll "slice half of these rappers' necks like fruit ninja." "Come at me, Come at me y'all DA DA DA DA DA. Jay Park to embark on a "Serenades & Body Rolls" world tour

Seattle to Seoul artist Jay Park has announced plans to embark on a "Serenades & Body Rolls" world tour. The entertainer posted on social media that it will be his first tour in six years, kicking off the 10th anniversary of his hit hip-hop song "MOMMAE," featuring Ugly Duck. Park dropped "MOMMAE" with a freaky visual on May 22, 2015. Rapper PUNCHNELLO is more than "Ordinary." in new EP and "Blue Hawaii" MV distributed by AOMG

South Korean artist PUNCHNELLO's style of rap is by no way ordinary, but that's the title of his new mini-album. The rapper's EP "Ordinary." dropped on January 28 through hip-hop label AOMG. According to  10 Asia, PUNCHNELLO recently signed a contract with AOMG for music and distribution. South Korean producer JuniorChef also recently signed a contract for the same type of distribution agreement. PUNCHNELLO (from the crew Club Eskimo) is known for his fast and sharp delivery , who can also slow it down with emotional flow . He mixes it up on the new EP "Ordinary," which features artists Crush and PENOMECO on the 0channel produced title-track "Blue Hawaii."  The song includes an animated official music video (with subtitles), which also rolled out on January 28th. Jay Park Announces new H1GHR MUSIC Artist - Seo Donghyun a.k.a. Big Naughty

During the second and final day of his 2019  Off Route Fest in South Korea, co-CEO/entertainer Jay Park announced the newest member of his second label- H1GHR MUSIC, as rapper/singer Seo Donghyun a.k.a. Big Naughty. Park introduced the young artist on stage, on Oct. 6, in front of a crowd of thousands of people at the music festival, and later posted video of the moment to Instagram. According to Park, Donghyun is now the youngest member of the label (previously that title went to rapper Haon). Big Naughty was a contestant on season eight of the popular South Korean rap competition program - Show Me The Money (SMTM). He was eliminated in the semi-finals. Perhaps one of the best known hip-hop and R&B crews in South Korea, members of FANXY CHILD have teamed up once again to drop a new single and visual titled "Y." The track hit streaming sites on August 9th featuring ZICO, CRUSH, DEAN, PENOMECO and producers MILLIC and STAYTUNED. Kpop group ENHYPEN earns new fans with American television "Loose" debut performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live

On the night of Thursday, April 10, South Korean boy band ENHYPEN hit the stage on ABC's  Jimmy Kimmel Live with body rolls and screaming young kpop fans in the studio audience, as they performed their new English language single "Loose," for their American television debut. The performance left an impression on the television viewing audience across the country, with at least one viewer calling into an ABC local news station in Kentucky well after midnight, inquiring about the name of the group.  The excited viewer asked the morning show news producer who picked up the phone, questions about where to find information about ENHYPEN, and where exactly the group was from.  After the producer explained the kpop genre to the viewer, and shared information on how to find the performance on the Jimmy Kimmel Live YouTube channel, the caller then encouraged the producer to watch the performance herself, in which she later did, thus becoming a new fan of the group as well. ...
