BIG Naughty drops First Single under H1GHR MUSIC - "Where It All Started Remix" feat. Verbal Jint & Beenzino

BIG Naughty is making a big impression, in his first release under hip-hop label H1GHR MUSIC. The up and coming South Korean singer/rapper dropped his "Where It All Started Remix," featuring rappers Verbal Jint and Beenzino on November 21.

The remix is actually of Verbal Jint's song "시발점," featuring Beenzino from his 2015 "GO HARD, Pt. 1" album. You can find both versions now on streaming sites.

Music fans first heard that BIG Naughty had joined H1GHR MUSIC on October 6th, during the 2019 Off Route Fest in South Korea. He's now the youngest artist with the label. His growing rise to fame includes competing on season 8 of Show Me The Money. You can see more of him by watching his Vlog, showing his interaction at school, on the H1GHR MUSIC YouTube channel.

NEW MUSIC & MV: INNA x Vinka - "Bebe"

An eccentric collaboration between Romanian singer INNA, and Vinka from Uganda. The two released their colorful official music video with moves from a subway train, for their song "Bebe" on November 4th. Inna is known for her 2008 breakout hit "Hot." Vinka, an artist under record label - Swangz Avenue, has been moving up in the music scene in Africa and making moves in Europe. Check out their new collaboration "Bebe" below.

Rapper Dok2 talks about working with Jay Park and G-Dragon (from BIGBANG) in Ep. 31 of "Fun With Dumb"

Illionaire Records co-founder Dok2 is a pioneer in the South Korean hip-hop industry, but he rarely gives interviews. Lucky for fans, the rapper sat down on two separate occasions recently to talk about his life and the rise of hip-hop in South Korea. The first interview was for the March 7th face to face with rapper Snacky Chan for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod."   The second was for American rapper Dumbfoundead's March 20th (ep. 31) podcast of "Fun With Dumb." During the podcast, Dok2 provided a mini-history lesson for anyone interested in South Korean hip-hop. New Michael Jackson Tribute Video from Jason Derulo, LAY & NCT 127 - "Let's Shut Up and Dance"

In a video dedicated to Michael Jackson, American singer Jason Derulo teamed up with South Korean SM Entertainment kpop idols-- NCT 127 and LAY (from kpop group EXO). The collaboration for "Let's Shut Up and Dance" hit YouTube on February 21st, and the single hit music streaming sites on the 22nd. The song is the first single off a four-track EP titled "The Greatest Dancer," dedicated to the late King of Pop. According to the The Korea Times , the mini-album will be released on June 25, which marks the 10th anniversary of Jackson's death. NEW NAME FOR BTS MEMBER (formerly Rap Monster)

The leader of the super popular kpop group BTS, from South Korea, has officially changed his name. Kim Nam-joon previously known as Rap Monster, has changed his stage name to RM. The announcement was published on the BTS official fan cafe on November 13.  RM wrote on it, that although he's been called Rap Monster for the past five years, he felt the need to change it, because that title was   getting more and more distant from the music done for the past 5 years.                                                                    -RM (via allkpop)    Back on September 19, 2017, Rap Monster announced on his Beats1Noisey Interview that he would be changing his name to RM. CONCERT WATCH: Flowsik in Europe This Summer

After back to back collaborations with rapper/singer Jessi, Korean-American rapper Flowsik is hitting the road, and going on a mini-tour in Europe. The tour is presented by the kpop party crew, Young Bros, and kicks off June 1st in Amsterdam. Meanwhile his two releases with Korean-American star Jessi, are doing well. The feel good song "All I Need," dropped on March 31, and Flowsik and Jessi have promoted the track on Korean music shows. The second release, "Wet," dropped on April 4, and the sexy visual for it, has more than a million views on YouTube. A lot of people were first introduced to (Jay Pak) Flowsik with the release of the melodic quick flow of the "The Calling," and then with his part on "EUNG FREESTYLE," the viral rap track, he collaborated on with other heavy hitters such as LIVE, Sik-K, Punchnello and Owen Ovadoz. Just Jerk Crew Performs During Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony

We're only two months in, and 2018 has already been a good year for Just Jerk Crew. They are the featured backup dancers in the official music video for Jay Park and Yultron's "Forget About Tomorrow," and they just recently announced the opening of their new dance academy in South Korea. The popular urban dance team from Seoul, has been making moves together since 2010, and has even competed on America's Got Talent, season 12. Now, the group is getting even more international recognition, after performing live during the Opening Ceremony for the Winter Olympics in PyeongChang. The group has shared a clip of the performance on Instagram, and some of the members have even shared behind the scenes group photos. Worth Watching: "Bleach" - A Live-Action Anime Adaptation Movie on Netflix

by Nefertiti Jenkins Looking for something to watch this weekend? Check out "Bleach," a live-action anime adaptation film, that just recently hit Netflix with English subtitles. It's based on the manga and anime series of the same name. The acting is good, and the action is great. Even if you're not familiar with the series, you'll still enjoy the movie. According to the official synopsis, the film is about... Ichigo Kurosaki, a High School student, living in Karakura. He is able to see ghosts, as well as hollows. Song of The Day: Khea - "Loca" (Remix) featuring Bad Bunny, Duki & Cazzu

The Spanish lyrics are explicit when translated into English, but this Latin Trap remix is so alluring, that you just can't help but to groove to it. Hip-hop artist Khea, from Argentina, dropped his "Loca" remix video featuring Bad Bunny, Duki and Cazzu back in April, and it currently has more than 173-million views on YouTube. The track, with its repetitive beat is about a "crazy" woman on social media, but towards the end of it, we hear the seductive female response from Argentine rapper Cazzu. Avatar Darko Officially Signs With H1GHR MUSIC

Seattle Rapper Avatar Darko, has officially signed with hip-hop label H1GHR MUSIC. The CEOs, Jay Park and Cha Cha Malone, posted the official video on June 5th, to social media of Avatar signing the contract, and receiving his H1GHR MUSIC gold chain.  The new signee is fresh off a U.S. tour with his H1GHR MUSIC labelmates (which wrapped on May 8th in Seattle). He also hit the stage with them back in March, for South by Southwest.
