BIG Naughty drops First Single under H1GHR MUSIC - "Where It All Started Remix" feat. Verbal Jint & Beenzino

BIG Naughty is making a big impression, in his first release under hip-hop label H1GHR MUSIC. The up and coming South Korean singer/rapper dropped his "Where It All Started Remix," featuring rappers Verbal Jint and Beenzino on November 21.

The remix is actually of Verbal Jint's song "시발점," featuring Beenzino from his 2015 "GO HARD, Pt. 1" album. You can find both versions now on streaming sites.

Music fans first heard that BIG Naughty had joined H1GHR MUSIC on October 6th, during the 2019 Off Route Fest in South Korea. He's now the youngest artist with the label. His growing rise to fame includes competing on season 8 of Show Me The Money. You can see more of him by watching his Vlog, showing his interaction at school, on the H1GHR MUSIC YouTube channel.

Colde from offonoff has dropped a cover of the hit song "DNA" from kpop group BTS. The cover has a different vibe from the upbeat electronic original dance version. Colde's take of "DNA" is more laid back, smooth and easy listening R&B. The cover was uploaded April 16, on a new YouTube channel under the name WAVY. Check it out below. Korean Hip-Hop : The Next Generation: Jo Woo Chan, Park Hyun Jin & Achillo - “OGZ”

While fans of khip-hop were waiting for the latest release from their already established favorite artists, three young rising rappers, dropped a music video on January 5, and blew everyone away. The next generation to represent Korean Hip-Hop, consists of trainees Jo Woo Chan, Park Hyun Jin and Achillo.  Jo Woo Chan is with Cube Entertainment and participated in Show Me The Money 6. Park Hyun Jin is from Starship Entertainment and won K-Pop Star 6 (with Kim Jong-seob as part of the duo Boyfriend). ACHILLO is also with Starship. Together the three have collaborated on the track “OGZ” (Produced by H1GHR MUSIC’s GroovyRoom), for the “OG SCHOOL PROJECT.” According to 1theK, “OGZ” comes from 'OG' Original Gangster (a respected artist who has been around for years, in the hip hop community), and the new Korean term 'Ojida' which means brilliant and talented. Dark and bittersweet like the pain of love, and grooving with alternative R&B-- South Korean AOMG producer CODE KUNST, released his double single "XI," featuring YG singer Lee Hi on January 8. Calling it 'The Next Chapter of "X,"' the title song follows the previously released collaboration from the two... "X," off Code Kunst's 2017 album "Muggles' Mansion." In addition to the title track, "XI," the new double single also includes a shorter track titled "A Sad Night Track." South Korean rapper The Quiett rides out in a Bentley in final 1LLIONAIRE RECORDS release - "BENTLEY 2"

With his laid-back 90s rap flow and braggadocious lyrics, rapper The Quiett is one of the smoothest artists in hip-hop. He is also the co-founder, with rapper Dok2, of one of the most influential record companies in South Korea. Both are part of a group of legends responsible for putting South Korean hip-hop on the map. Their label - 1LLIONAIRE RECORDS, was established in January 2011. They added rapper Beenzino later that year. In 2016, the two established a second label, of younger up-and-coming artists called Ambition Musik. The co-CEOs also toured the United States in 2016, and in 2017, putting on great high energy performances. INLet'sGo! caught their 2016 stop in Atlanta.  On November 11, 2020, The Quiett dropped his last double single under 1LLIONAIRE RECORDS, marking the last 1LLIONAIRE DAY (of new music drops), and the final project for the company. Dok2 parted ways with the label in February, and in July, the company announced it was shutting down....

Rapping over jazzy piano keys, artist BLOO shares his rise in the music industry in a new double single release titled "Bloo Story." The two tracks hit music streaming sites on March 25. In the title song, BLOO raps about going from being a young South Korean kid interested in making music, to becoming an established rapper with Los Angeles based hip-hop label MKIT RAIN in California.  BLOO switches genres, delivering heavy metal/hard rock in the second track "Get money i love it." The Spanish lyrics are explicit when translated into English, but this Latin Trap remix is so alluring, that you just can't help but to groove to it. Hip-hop artist Khea, from Argentina, dropped his "Loca" remix video featuring Bad Bunny, Duki and Cazzu back in April, and it currently has more than 173-million views on YouTube. The track, with its repetitive beat is about a "crazy" woman on social media, but towards the end of it, we hear the seductive female response from Argentine rapper Cazzu. R&B singers Hoody & Crush fall for each other in new music and MV "Sunshine"

A little "Sunshine" to warm up the autumn cool.  AOMG singer Hoody released her latest single and an official music video to go with it, on October 22nd. Produced by Cha Cha Malone, the song "Sunshine," featuring Crush (from Amoeba Culture) is about the warmth that comes with love. The collaboration between the South Korean R&B singers, has a twist in the music video. In the visual, the two are next-door neighbors who are frustrated by each other, to the point of destruction, until a surprise cameo by AOMG's rapper Simon Dominic, who brings them together.
