South Korean rapper/singer JJANGYOU is showing his artistic vision in his latest music video and single release. The visual for his new song, "115," dropped on November 15. The Hukky Shibaseki produced track includes an intro on piano keys, and a funky electric guitar solo from inside a warehouse. Check out the production above.

AOMG Welcomes Sogumm to the Label after her "Signhere" win on MBN

South Korean label AOMG (founded by Jay Park), now has two female artists. AOMG welcomed Sogumm to the team on October 31, after the final episode of Signhere on MBN. The singer took home first place, on the competition show. Her total scores for her performance beating out Meloh, Maddox and MBA. Sogumm joins Hoody, and a crew of popular male artists, as the second woman signed to AOMG. Hoody became the first female artist to sign to the hip-hop and R&B record label back in 2015. Rapper Dok2 talks about working with Jay Park and G-Dragon (from BIGBANG) in Ep. 31 of "Fun With Dumb"

Illionaire Records co-founder Dok2 is a pioneer in the South Korean hip-hop industry, but he rarely gives interviews. Lucky for fans, the rapper sat down on two separate occasions recently to talk about his life and the rise of hip-hop in South Korea. The first interview was for the March 7th face to face with rapper Snacky Chan for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod." The second was for American rapper Dumbfoundead's March 20th (ep. 31) podcast of "Fun With Dumb." During the podcast, Dok2 provided a mini-history lesson for anyone interested in South Korean hip-hop. Beginning with his early rise, the rapper says he's been making moves in the industry since 2002 when he was 12-years-old. He told Dumbfoundead that he used to attend a school for foreigners in Busan (because of his mixed Korean, Spanish and Filipino heritage), but after 6th grade he moved to Seoul and did not return back to school (due to family financial reasons). Fans hoping to get a ticket to the second part of Jay Park's "Serenades & Body Rolls" tour featuring his new KPOP group LNGSHOT may be out of luck soon. Tickets are going fast. Park announced on June 9th he and his group would be hitting the stage in September and October. Tickets for the general public went on sale on Friday, June 12th, with many venues close to selling out seats near the main stage by Sunday, June 14th. Park first announced his "Serenades & Body Rolls" tour in February 2025, hitting cities in Asia. This time around, he and his new boy band will perform in the United States, Europe and South America, his first in the U.S. in seven years and the first in South America. DAVII Drops Eclectic New Album - "GENEZIS3"

South Korean musician DAVII dropped his fourth mini-album "GENEZIS3" on August 3rd. The project includes an eclectic infusion of jazz and hip-hop. The six-track EP hit streaming sites with an official music video for the song "Flying" showing DAVII on keys with smooth vocals. The track also features H1GHR MUSIC artist BIG Naughty. CONCERT WATCH: Jay Park To Perform at "IdentityLA" during Asian Pacific American Heritage Month

Coming Up this spring, after his H1GHR MUSIC crew wraps up their first U.S. tour (with the final stop in Seattle on May 8th), co-CEO and rapper/singer Jay Park, will be hitting the stage in Los Angeles. According to Far East Movement, Jay Park is part of the line up for this year's "IdentityLA" concert during Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. It's a free event, happening on Saturday, May 12. It will be held on the steps of city hall, in downtown Los Angeles, and hosted this year, by Far East Movement and Wong Fu Productions. Jay Park dropped his R&B single "Whenever" one year ago, on July 23, 2025. Crooning "call me whenever" in an English and Japanese version. The Japanese version includes a passionate live clip on YouTube from part one of his Serenades & Body Rolls tour last year in Japan. Since then, Park has announced part two for 2026 , which includes his More Vision South Korean boy band LNGSHOT. This second leg of the tour kicks off on September 3 in São Paulo, Brazil with stops in Mexico, North America and Europe. No word if he'll perform this song, but for now, Jay Park's "Whenever" is today's Song of the Day.

Former HIGHGRND Producer, Code Kunst, is now the newest member of AOMG -- the Korean hip-hop (and R&B) label run by Jay Park and Simon Dominic. AOMG revealed the news to fans on June 10, with the release of Code Kunst's new single and music video, "Rain Bird," featuring his former YG Entertainment- HIGHGRND sub-labelmates, Tablo (of Epik High) and Colde (from offonoff). HIGHGRND was founded by Tablo in 2015. He stepped down from his position in 2017. According to Soompi magazine, HIGHGRND is now a part of YG Entertainment’s subsidiary, YGX, with BIGBANG’s Seungri as the CEO. Colde is now with WAVY. Rapper Dok2 talks about his personal life and South Korean hip-hop - in English ("Kill Bill") interview with Snacky Chan for "Undergod"

On the March 7th episode of ' Target: Billboard - Kill Bill,' legendary rapper Dok2 brought a number of notable Korean (and Korean-American) rappers out on stage with him to perform his latest song. The show ' Kill Bill' is an MBC hip-hop survival program which aims to put a South Korean hip-hop artist on the Billboard charts with a collaboration with DJ Khaled. Artists who hit the stage with Dok2 during this episode were Snacky Chan, Changmo, Double K, Deepflow, Los, Young B, Pyunny, Keem Hyo-Eun, Junoflo and Nucksal. After the show, Dok2 and Snacky Chan went backstage to record an interview for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod." During their one on one, Dok2 compares hip-hop styles of trap and boom bap.
