NEW VIDEO DROP: Paloalto - "Grind" from “Love, Money & Dreams: The Album”


Hi-Lite Records founder Paloalto, has dropped the latest visual for his “Love, Money & Dreams: The Album” project. The official music video for his track "Grind" off it, hit streaming sites on November 14.

The visual follows what seems like a random guy, and his daily grind, beginning with a car ride with his woman, and Paloalto passing by. Check out the latest from the South Korean rapper above.

F.HERO links up with BamBam from GOT7 for new song and MV - "Do You"

BamBam from GOT7 delivers a trap hook and flow, with Thai rapper F.HERO (ฟักกลิ้ง ฮีโร่) on the new KILO KEYS produced track - "Do You." The song is off F.HERO's new 32-track album - "INTO THE NEW ERA." The visual for "Do You" dropped on October 16, with a suave BamBam dressed in black. Avatar Darko Officially Signs With H1GHR MUSIC

Seattle Rapper Avatar Darko, has officially signed with hip-hop label H1GHR MUSIC. The CEOs, Jay Park and Cha Cha Malone, posted the official video on June 5th, to social media of Avatar signing the contract, and receiving his H1GHR MUSIC gold chain.  The new signee is fresh off a U.S. tour with his H1GHR MUSIC labelmates (which wrapped on May 8th in Seattle). He also hit the stage with them back in March, for South by Southwest. Rapper Dok2 talks about his personal life and South Korean hip-hop - in English ("Kill Bill") interview with Snacky Chan for "Undergod"

On the March 7th episode of ' Target: Billboard - Kill Bill,' legendary rapper Dok2 brought a number of notable Korean (and Korean-American) rappers out on stage with him to perform his latest song. The show ' Kill Bill'  is an MBC hip-hop survival program which aims to put a South Korean hip-hop artist on the Billboard charts with a collaboration with DJ Khaled. Artists who hit the stage with Dok2 during this episode were Snacky Chan, Changmo, Double K, Deepflow, Los, Young B, Pyunny, Keem Hyo-Eun, Junoflo and Nucksal. After the show, Dok2 and Snacky Chan went backstage to record an interview for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod." During their one on one, Dok2 compares hip-hop styles of trap and boom bap. A bittersweet Christmas love song, because sometimes, it's just the end of the road. Singer NIKI first uploaded her "SUGARPLUM ELEGY" track to her YouTube channel on December 12. The label she's signed to, 88rising, uploaded the audio to its YouTube channel on December 23. Written and produced by NIKI, she says the song came out of nowhere, and she wrote and self-produced it in her bedroom, during a time where she felt "cold and clogged, in every sense."  Her raspy vocals on the track capture a time of finality and sorrow... (BTS') J-Hope drops "Airplane" mv from "Hope World" mixtape

Fans didn't see this one coming. On March 6 (EST), BTS kpop member J-Hope dropped another visual for his "Hope World" mixtape. The music video is from the hip-hop track "Airplane," and comes with English subtitles. As we reported previously, the song is about J-Hope, looking back at how far he's come. The video itself shows J-Hope looking suave and cool as he raps... I remember myself back in that moment. When the barren land burned me down. I ran looking at the blue sky. Wanted to fly, in that airplane. The lyrics seem pretty personal, with the 24-year-old describing his dreams, which include flying to different destinations. J-Hope's previous video drop, "Daydream," was trending in the top ten within hours after its release on YouTube on March 1. It's gotten over 24-million views thus far. When Asian and Black make Hip Hop

                      Asian artists and Black artists are collaborating more often on music projects now, more than ever before. You may not hear the music played yet on mainstream radio, but as our global culture shifts to more inclusiveness, you'll find these collaborations trending on social media, especially YouTube and SoundCloud. For example, Too $hort and Dumbfoundead on "Cochino," and Jay Park and Raz Simone on "Afraid of Me." Back in November (2016), World Star Hip Hop uploaded "Dirty Jersey" from Asian-American rapper Shotta Spence (Spence Lee) featuring 732 Cash (Ear Drummers).
