Seattle Hip-Hop Artist Gifted Gab drops new R&B single - "That Way" for her Birthday

For her birthday on February 21, Seattle rapper Gifted Gab shared a taste of what's to come off her forthcoming album, "Cause And Effect." She dropped her R&B single off it - "That Way." The song, a track which has Gifted Gab singing about a love that's not quite working out.

According to her post on Instagram, her upcoming album will be released on April 20th. It's her sixth project. She captioned on Instagram, that the album is produced by Antwon Vinson, and will be "half rap, half R&B and absolutely no features."

Gifted Gab recently teamed up with fellow Seattle artist (AOMG & H1GHR MUSIC co-CEO) Jay Park for a game of Fear Pong. The two went up against her B.A.G. other half - Blimes, and Seattle H1GHR MUSIC artist Jarv Dee. The episode can be found on YouTube. Her new single "That Way," can be found on music streaming sites. Fans still have questions about ECÂF after the release of Ruel's new single & MV - "Face To Face"

Drake and Jack Harlow shoot music video during The Kentucky Derby for song "Churchill Downs"

On the eve of the 148th running of the Kentucky Derby, Louisville native and rapper, 24-year-old Jack Harlow dropped his new album- "Come Home the Kids Miss You." The project hit streaming sites on May 6th, one day before the May 7th Derby at the Churchill Downs horse-racetrack in Louisville.  Harlow's album includes the Drake-assisted song "Churchill Downs," in which the two rappers share lyrics of introspection before Drake wraps up the more than five minute track with... "Kentucky derby races, my presence in the spot is so abrasive. Box at the Churchill Downs, that's motivation, yeah. And shorty like, "You know that boy Jack is goin' places."    The lyrics in Drake's verse were a prelude to what was to come. H1GHR MUSIC fans have more questions after label drops compilation single - "BRB"

H1GHR MUSIC returned with a new compilation single and visual on July 27. The title for the new song-- "BRB," is an acronym for "Be Right Back." The track produced by GroovyRoom and Cha Cha Malone, includes arstists HAON, Sik-K, TRADE L, BIG Naughty, pH-1, PARK HYEON JIN, JAY B and Jay Park.  The song includes the lyrics: "We'll meet again after looking around" and "H1GHR gang, no label, issa la familia." Fans are commenting under the official music video for the song, saying the lyrics are sad and appear to suggest an ending or hiatus.  The new release comes just days after rapper pH-1 deleted his posts on Instagram and after H1GHR MUSIC announced the departures of rapper Sik-K and GOT7 singer JAY B, after the expiration of their contracts. Sik-K had been with the label since its founding, while JAY B had been with H1GHR for just a year.  The South Korean label was founded by Jay Park and Cha Cha Malone in 2017. When you got it, you got it, and dance instructor Insun Lee, has it.    Lee is an instructor with Prepix Studio in South Korea. Prepix has worked on a number of dance projects and videos with entertainer Jay Park.  On its Instagram page, on Sunday, January 14, Prepix posted one of the most recent choreography videos from Lee, promoting his classes there, which take place on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. I n the video,  Lee delivers a smooth routine to   Shawn Mendes' "There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back" , and in the end he even gives us a bboy spin. Hip-hop is dominating the charts from around the world. During the week ending April 9, some hot new music hit streaming sites, including new hits from Louisville, KY rapper Jack Harlow, Argentine artist Paulo Londra and South Korean rapper ChaMane. Jack Harlow's banger "First Class" rolled out on streaming sites on April 8, with an official visualizer (that's currently trending on YouTube) just days after a preview of the song on social media with the artist in the studio went viral. The rapper samples Fergie’s 2006 hit “Glamorous” in "First Class." British singer Jay Sean has released the official music video for his new single "With You," featuring Gucci Mane and Asian Doll. The Jamar Harding directed visual dropped on April 1st, and in it, there's a lot of booty. The video shows girls in bikinis and balaclavas riding down the road on two-wheel scooters. Seven new tracks from 'Unpretty Rapstar' season 2 winner Truedy. The 25-year-old South Korean rapper dropped her mini-album "Rued" on November 7th, with a music video for the song "Very Rare" featuring Avec Plaisir. Truedy has received criticism in the past for her performance on 'Unpretty Rapstar.'  She was accused of copying South Korean-American born rapper Yoon Mi-rae's style and flow.
