Seattle Hip-Hop Artist Gifted Gab drops new R&B single - "That Way" for her Birthday

For her birthday on February 21, Seattle rapper Gifted Gab shared a taste of what's to come off her forthcoming album, "Cause And Effect." She dropped her R&B single off it - "That Way." The song, a track which has Gifted Gab singing about a love that's not quite working out.

According to her post on Instagram, her upcoming album will be released on April 20th. It's her sixth project. She captioned on Instagram, that the album is produced by Antwon Vinson, and will be "half rap, half R&B and absolutely no features."

Gifted Gab recently teamed up with fellow Seattle artist (AOMG & H1GHR MUSIC co-CEO) Jay Park for a game of Fear Pong. The two went up against her B.A.G. other half - Blimes, and Seattle H1GHR MUSIC artist Jarv Dee. The episode can be found on YouTube. Her new single "That Way," can be found on music streaming sites. Rapper PUNCHNELLO is more than "Ordinary." in new EP and "Blue Hawaii" MV distributed by AOMG

South Korean artist PUNCHNELLO's style of rap is by no way ordinary, but that's the title of his new mini-album. The rapper's EP "Ordinary." dropped on January 28 through hip-hop label AOMG. According to  10 Asia, PUNCHNELLO recently signed a contract with AOMG for music and distribution. South Korean producer JuniorChef also recently signed a contract for the same type of distribution agreement. PUNCHNELLO (from the crew Club Eskimo) is known for his fast and sharp delivery , who can also slow it down with emotional flow . He mixes it up on the new EP "Ordinary," which features artists Crush and PENOMECO on the 0channel produced title-track "Blue Hawaii."  The song includes an animated official music video (with subtitles), which also rolled out on January 28th. NEW MUSIC DROP: Young Paris featuring Jay Park - "Girls Wanna Party"

by Nefertiti Jenkins This could put Jay Park on the radio in the U.S.  On May 16, his Roc Nation labelmate, rapper Young Paris, released a track with Jay Park titled "Girls Wanna Party." The single is from the new "My Tribe" LP which is now available on Tidal . According to an article from naijabeatzone.com , Young Paris says "The 'MY TRIBE' Album is dedicated to music lovers who vibe to the global sound of 'Afrobeats.'" According to his online bio, Young Paris was born in France to Congolese immigrant parents who later moved to New York. Rapper Dok2 talks about working with Jay Park and G-Dragon (from BIGBANG) in Ep. 31 of "Fun With Dumb"

Illionaire Records co-founder Dok2 is a pioneer in the South Korean hip-hop industry, but he rarely gives interviews. Lucky for fans, the rapper sat down on two separate occasions recently to talk about his life and the rise of hip-hop in South Korea. The first interview was for the March 7th face to face with rapper Snacky Chan for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod."   The second was for American rapper Dumbfoundead's March 20th (ep. 31) podcast of "Fun With Dumb." During the podcast, Dok2 provided a mini-history lesson for anyone interested in South Korean hip-hop. Beginning with his early rise, the rapper says he's been making moves in the industry since 2002 when he was 12-years-old. Perhaps one of the best known hip-hop and R&B crews in South Korea, members of FANXY CHILD have teamed up once again to drop a new single and visual titled "Y." The track hit streaming sites on August 9th featuring ZICO, CRUSH, DEAN, PENOMECO and producers MILLIC and STAYTUNED. Jay Park Announces new H1GHR MUSIC Artist - Seo Donghyun a.k.a. Big Naughty

During the second and final day of his 2019  Off Route Fest in South Korea, co-CEO/entertainer Jay Park announced the newest member of his second label- H1GHR MUSIC, as rapper/singer Seo Donghyun a.k.a. Big Naughty. Park introduced the young artist on stage, on Oct. 6, in front of a crowd of thousands of people at the music festival, and later posted video of the moment to Instagram. According to Park, Donghyun is now the youngest member of the label (previously that title went to rapper Haon). Big Naughty was a contestant on season eight of the popular South Korean rap competition program - Show Me The Money (SMTM). He was eliminated in the semi-finals. Another U.S. Tour in the Works for AOMG

                                                                            It was a big night for announcements at the Show Me The Money 5 concert stop in Chicago on September 3, 2016. While on stage with BewhY and Gray, AOMG Co-CEO Simon Dominic, said they are planning another AOMG tour in the U.S. for sometime next year. Earlier in the evening, close to when SMTM season 5 winner BewhY first hit the stage, BewhY talked about his dreams for the future. NEW MUSIC & MV: INNA x Vinka - "Bebe"

An eccentric collaboration between Romanian singer INNA, and Vinka from Uganda. The two released their colorful official music video with moves from a subway train, for their song "Bebe" on November 4th. Inna is known for her 2008 breakout hit "Hot." MKIT RAIN's BLOO and Nafla Not Ready to Grow Up in New Single and Visual - "Nae tat"

Rapping that they've already "achieved everything," so there's no point in growing up, MKIT RAIN's BLOO and Nafla have teamed up for a joint single titled "Nae tat." The track, produced by Big Banana, dropped on September 10 with an official music video.  In the visual, the two play a couple of rebellious young men, not ready for responsibilities, who rap in Korean about alcohol and girls. H1GHR MUSIC fans have more questions after label drops compilation single - "BRB"

H1GHR MUSIC returned with a new compilation single and visual on July 27. The title for the new song-- "BRB," is an acronym for "Be Right Back." The track produced by GroovyRoom and Cha Cha Malone, includes arstists HAON, Sik-K, TRADE L, BIG Naughty, pH-1, PARK HYEON JIN, JAY B and Jay Park.  The song includes the lyrics: "We'll meet again after looking around" and "H1GHR gang, no label, issa la familia." Fans are commenting under the official music video for the song, saying the lyrics are sad and appear to suggest an ending or hiatus.  The new release comes just days after rapper pH-1 deleted his posts on Instagram and after H1GHR MUSIC announced the departures of rapper Sik-K and GOT7 singer JAY B, after the expiration of their contracts. Sik-K had been with the label since its founding, while JAY B had been with H1GHR for just a year.  The South Korean label was founded by Jay Park and Cha Cha Malone in 2017.
