Grooving around Nairobi, Kenya with Blinky Bill in new music video - "Mungu Halali"

Kenyan rapper/singer Blinky Bill has held on to his childhood nickname. The name Blinky Bill, comes from an Australian children's book cartoon series, and growing up, the name stuck with the rapper. Grooving with African soul, the latest visual from the artist takes us back to his homeland of Nairobi, Kenya.

Taken from his debut solo album: "Everyone's Just Winging It And Other Fly Tales," Bill dropped his music video for "Mungu Halali" on February 14, featuring singers Sage, Sarah Mitaru, Wambura Mitaru and Lisa Oduor Noah.

The visual was shot on the fly in various locations around Nairobi. It opens with a cameo from veteran Kenyan broadcaster Leonard Mambo Mbotela. Check it out below...

An eccentric collaboration between Romanian singer INNA, and Vinka from Uganda. The two released their colorful official music video with moves from a subway train, for their song "Bebe" on November 4th. Inna is known for her 2008 breakout hit "Hot." Vinka, an artist under record label - Swangz Avenue, has been moving up in the music scene in Africa and making moves in Europe. Check out their new collaboration "Bebe" below.

Mural of Rapper Dumbfoundead Vandalized

The iconic mural of rapper Dumbfoundead painted on the side of Catalina Liquor in Koreatown in Los Angeles, has been vandalized-- that's according to a social media post from the artist. A picture of the vandalism, shows letters spray painted across it. On July 16th, Dumbfoundead thanked painter Joseph Yun Lee and Catalina Liquor on Instagram for "wanting to keep the mural up as long as they did." The mural was originally painted for the rapper's 2016 music video "Murals," a visual off his "We Might Die" album. Last year, he tweeted that he was getting a least one tagged photo a day from fans who had taken a picture in front of it. Dumbfoundead is now asking fans to send pictures or videos they had taken in front of the mural to muralsforever@gmail.com or tag him, so he can use the images in a video. Just Jerk Crew Performs During Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony

We're only two months in, and 2018 has already been a good year for Just Jerk Crew. They are the featured backup dancers in the official music video for Jay Park and Yultron's "Forget About Tomorrow," and they just recently announced the opening of their new dance academy in South Korea. The popular urban dance team from Seoul, has been making moves together since 2010, and has even competed on America's Got Talent, season 12. Now, the group is getting even more international recognition, after performing live during the Opening Ceremony for the Winter Olympics in PyeongChang. The group has shared a clip of the performance on Instagram, and some of the members have even shared behind the scenes group photos. David Foster, Anggun and Jay Park Returning as Judges for 'Asia's Got Talent' Season 3

After a successful season two, Asia's Got Talent is gearing up for its season 3 premiere, with returning celebrity judges David Foster, Anggun and Jay Park, as well as Alan Wong and Justin Bratton returning as hosts. A video announcement revealed the news on social media on September 16. This will be Jay Park's second year as a judge. David Foster and Anggun have been with AGT since season one. The new season will premiere sometime later this fall, with acts from different countries in Asia. Jay Park Adds and Interacts With Fans on Instagram Live Before Hawaii Concert

Social media is allowing fans and artists to interact with each other like never before. While in a room in Hawaii, on Sunday, April 1, singer/rapper/co-CEO Jay Park, discovered a feature during his Instagram Live stream, which allowed him to add and connect with fans, for 'one on one' time, but in front of thousands of people peering in. South Korean Hip-Hop Label Hi-Lite Records Disbands after 12 Years

Another loss for the hip-hop industry in South Korea. On April 20, Hi-Lite Records founder and former CEO Paloalto announced the disbandment of the label during his Instagram Live. Paloalto created the company in 2010. He stepped down as CEO in 2020 , but remained on as a recording artist. The label was most recently home to other artists such as Reddy, Huckleberry P, Swervy, Owell Mood, Soovi, jerd and Ash-B. Hi-Lite Records posted a statement on its social media platforms following Paloalto's announcement saying in part... "As many of you heard through Paloalto’s Instagram Live, we have decided to officially disband the Hi-Lite Records label. A number of different situations and circumstances led to this decision. CONCERT WATCH: Flowsik in Europe This Summer

After back to back collaborations with rapper/singer Jessi, Korean-American rapper Flowsik is hitting the road, and going on a mini-tour in Europe. The tour is presented by the kpop party crew, Young Bros, and kicks off June 1st in Amsterdam. Meanwhile his two releases with Korean-American star Jessi, are doing well. The feel good song "All I Need," dropped on March 31, and Flowsik and Jessi have promoted the track on Korean music shows. The second release, "Wet," dropped on April 4, and the sexy visual for it, has more than a million views on YouTube. A lot of people were first introduced to (Jay Pak) Flowsik with the release of the melodic quick flow of the "The Calling," and then with his part on "EUNG FREESTYLE," the viral rap track, he collaborated on with other heavy hitters such as LIVE, Sik-K, Punchnello and Owen Ovadoz. The Spanish lyrics are explicit when translated into English, but this Latin Trap remix is so alluring, that you just can't help but to groove to it. Hip-hop artist Khea, from Argentina, dropped his "Loca" remix video featuring Bad Bunny, Duki and Cazzu back in April, and it currently has more than 173-million views on YouTube. The track, with its repetitive beat is about a "crazy" woman on social media, but towards the end of it, we hear the seductive female response from Argentine rapper Cazzu. New Michael Jackson Tribute Video from Jason Derulo, LAY & NCT 127 - "Let's Shut Up and Dance"

In a video dedicated to Michael Jackson, American singer Jason Derulo teamed up with South Korean SM Entertainment kpop idols-- NCT 127 and LAY (from kpop group EXO). The collaboration for "Let's Shut Up and Dance" hit YouTube on February 21st, and the single hit music streaming sites on the 22nd. The song is the first single off a four-track EP titled "The Greatest Dancer," dedicated to the late King of Pop. According to the The Korea Times , the mini-album will be released on June 25, which marks the 10th anniversary of Jackson's death.
