CONCERT WATCH: Dok2 & The Quiett In Australia This Summer


Australia are you ready for some khip-hop? According to KPOPME Entertainment, rappers Dok2 and The Quiett from Illionaire Records will be on tour in Australia this summer. KPOPME says this will be the first time for the two to tour there. You can catch them in Sydney on June 1st at Space at Shark Hotel, and in Melbourne on June 2nd, at Star Trak. Jay Sean drops visual for new single "With You" ft. Gucci Mane & Asian Doll

British singer Jay Sean has released the official music video for his new single "With You," featuring Gucci Mane and Asian Doll. The Jamar Harding directed visual dropped on April 1st, and in it, there's a lot of booty. The video shows girls in bikinis and balaclavas riding down the road on two-wheel scooters. The actual single hit streaming sites with Republic Records on March 8th, after a long break from the London artist. Check out his new MV below.

Rapper Dok2 talks about working with Jay Park and G-Dragon (from BIGBANG) in Ep. 31 of "Fun With Dumb"

Illionaire Records co-founder Dok2 is a pioneer in the South Korean hip-hop industry, but he rarely gives interviews. Lucky for fans, the rapper sat down on two separate occasions recently to talk about his life and the rise of hip-hop in South Korea. The first interview was for the March 7th face to face with rapper Snacky Chan for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod."   The second was for American rapper Dumbfoundead's March 20th (ep. 31) podcast of "Fun With Dumb." During the podcast, Dok2 provided a mini-history lesson for anyone interested in South Korean hip-hop. Beginning with his early rise, the rapper says he's been making moves in the industry since 2002 when he was 12-years-old. He told Dumbfoundead that he used to attend a school for foreigners in Busan (because of his mixed Korean, Spanish and Filipino heritage), but after 6th grade he moved to Seoul and did not return back to school (due to family financial reasons). NEW NAME FOR BTS MEMBER (formerly Rap Monster)

The leader of the super popular kpop group BTS, from South Korea, has officially changed his name. Kim Nam-joon previously known as Rap Monster, has changed his stage name to RM. Crush Drops New MV ("Be By My Side") With Earth, Wind & Fire Sample

Korean R&B singer Crush, has dropped his latest music video. It's called "Be By My Side," and it samples the soul, disco and funk band Earth, Wind & Fire. According to the description under the upload on the Amoeba Culture official YouTube Channel, Crush received permission to use the "Brazilian Rhyme" sample. "내 편이 돼줘 (be by my side)" contains elements from "Brazilian Rhyme (Interlude)" written by Maurice White. Published by EMI April Music Inc. Used by permission. All rights reserved. Avatar Darko Officially Signs With H1GHR MUSIC

Seattle Rapper Avatar Darko, has officially signed with hip-hop label H1GHR MUSIC. The CEOs, Jay Park and Cha Cha Malone, posted the official video on June 5th, to social media of Avatar signing the contract, and receiving his H1GHR MUSIC gold chain.  The new signee is fresh off a U.S. tour with his H1GHR MUSIC labelmates (which wrapped on May 8th in Seattle). He also hit the stage with them back in March, for South by Southwest. Jay Park Announces new H1GHR MUSIC Artist - Seo Donghyun a.k.a. Big Naughty

During the second and final day of his 2019  Off Route Fest in South Korea, co-CEO/entertainer Jay Park announced the newest member of his second label- H1GHR MUSIC, as rapper/singer Seo Donghyun a.k.a. Big Naughty. Park introduced the young artist on stage, on Oct. 6, in front of a crowd of thousands of people at the music festival, and later posted video of the moment to Instagram. According to Park, Donghyun is now the youngest member of the label (previously that title went to rapper Haon). Big Naughty was a contestant on season eight of the popular South Korean rap competition program - Show Me The Money (SMTM). He was eliminated in the semi-finals. Concert Watch: Ozuna - AURA USA Tour 2018

Puerto Rican reggaeton singer Ozuna, is hitting the road this fall for an AURA USA Tour. The announcement comes after the release of Ozuna's new track and music video with Manuel Turizo, "Vaina Loca," which dropped on YouTube on June 28, and currently has more than 30-million views.  "Vaina Loca" is a single from Ozuna's upcoming album Aura , set to be released on August 24. The tour, starts in September in Atlanta, and hits at least 30 cities, including Lexington, KY in December. Tickets go on sale July 6, with Ticketmaster .

CAZZU and Bizarrap Link Up For "BZRP Music Sessions #32"

Just about every project Argentine rapper and singer CAZZU hops on, turns out to be a hit. Her latest collaboration is no exception. The trap star joins producer Bizarrap for his "BZRP Music Sessions #32." The song and the visual for it, hit streaming sites on August 5. The release follows CAZZU's three-track EP "Bonus Trap," which rolled out in April.
