CONCERT WATCH: Dok2 & The Quiett In Australia This Summer

Australia are you ready for some khip-hop? According to KPOPME Entertainment, rappers Dok2 and The Quiett from Illionaire Records will be on tour in Australia this summer. KPOPME says this will be the first time for the two to tour there. You can catch them in Sydney on June 1st at Space at Shark Hotel, and in Melbourne on June 2nd, at Star Trak. New Music & MV: FANXY CHILD - "Y" featuring Zico, Crush, Dean, Penomeco, Millic & Staytuned

Perhaps one of the best known hip-hop and R&B crews in South Korea, members of FANXY CHILD have teamed up once again to drop a new single and visual titled "Y." The track hit streaming sites on August 9th featuring ZICO, CRUSH, DEAN, PENOMECO and producers MILLIC and STAYTUNED. Previously we've seen them collaborate on such hits and music videos like Millic's "Paradise" and Zico's "Fanxy Child" and "Bermuda Triangle." Rapper Dok2 talks about working with Jay Park and G-Dragon (from BIGBANG) in Ep. 31 of "Fun With Dumb"

Illionaire Records co-founder Dok2 is a pioneer in the South Korean hip-hop industry, but he rarely gives interviews. Lucky for fans, the rapper sat down on two separate occasions recently to talk about his life and the rise of hip-hop in South Korea. The first interview was for the March 7th face to face with rapper Snacky Chan for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod."   The second was for American rapper Dumbfoundead's March 20th (ep. 31) podcast of "Fun With Dumb." During the podcast, Dok2 provided a mini-history lesson for anyone interested in South Korean hip-hop. Beginning with his early rise, the rapper says he's been making moves in the industry since 2002 when he was 12-years-old. He told Dumbfoundead that he used to attend a school for foreigners in Busan (because of his mixed Korean, Spanish and Filipino heritage), but after 6th grade he moved to Seoul and did not return back to school (due to family financial reasons). Jessi released their collaboration - "Drip" on November 1st, and straight out the gate, she comes out swinging with swag, and singing, that she's not "going anywhere." New Music Drop: Anthony Danza - "The BBS Diaries" with an "At All Costs" MV

Delivering that West Coast rewind with 80s G-funk beats, Seattle rapper/producer Anthony Danza has dropped his latest project (out now on Spotify and Amazon music). The Black Umbrella/Proof Avenue artist released "The BBS Diaries" on May 26, with a visual for one of its tracks, "At All Costs," pre-released on YouTube on May 24. The video shot by Steve Arsenio and edited by photographer Harry Clean. On Instagram, Danza reminds fans that another track from the project, “Rich Tonight” had sample clearance issues, but you can find it on SoundCloud. Check out the new music and music video below.

Song of The Day: Khea - "Loca" (Remix) featuring Bad Bunny, Duki & Cazzu

The Spanish lyrics are explicit when translated into English, but this Latin Trap remix is so alluring, that you just can't help but to groove to it. Hip-hop artist Khea, from Argentina, dropped his "Loca" remix video featuring Bad Bunny, Duki and Cazzu back in April, and it currently has more than 173-million views on YouTube. The track, with its repetitive beat is about a "crazy" woman on social media, but towards the end of it, we hear the seductive female response from Argentine rapper Cazzu. Jay Park Performs English Version of "Yacht" For "24 Hours of Reality"

Jay Park has premiered the full English version of his song "Yacht." The singer performed it for the first time on Dec. 5, on former U.S. Vice President Al Gore's "24 Hours of Reality." The program streams live every year scientists, business leaders and celebrities talking about "the climate crisis." This is the second year, for Jay Park to lend his voice and talent to the program. Park also introduced one of the singers from his label, H1GHR MUSIC, Phe Reds, who performed his sweet song "Smile."
