New Music On The Way: AOMG - Jay Park, Simon Dominic, Gray and Loco

A surprise announcement from hip-hop label AOMG.  On Saturday, April 14, the label (based in Korea) shared a post on Instagram with a silhouette image of four guys in a dark place that read "Here we got Jay Park, Simon Dominic, Gray and Loco shooting a music video. Please stay tuned for collaboration work from our artists."


There were two pictures. One upright, and the other upside down.  To add to the AOMG announcement, rapper Loco posted on Instagram, an upside down picture of himself from a set with a caption that says Tuesday, May 1st. Producer/Singer/Rapper Gray has also posted a picture from a set on his Instagram that also reads Tuesday, May 1st.


Based on a tweet from the fanbase Jay Park Network on Twitter,  the collaboration could be called "Turn It Over/Upside Down."

Many fans excited about the news are calling the upcoming release a comeback for the OGs of AOMG. The label was founded by Jay Park in 2013. The name comes from Jay Park's b-boy crew that he grew up with in Seattle, WA (AOM- Art of Movement). Currently Simon Dominic and Jay Park are the CEOs of AOMG.  Their early artists and producers included Gray and Loco.

The four work well together and many fans already know that Jay Park, Simon D, Gray and Loco are "Success Crazed."

***Artists from Jay Park's second label (with Cha Cha Malone), H1GHR MUSIC, will be on a U.S. tour soon. The tour starts April 26th in Chicago and ends May 8th in Seattle.  Tickets can be found on the H1GHR MUSIC Tour 2018 website.

Jay Sean drops visual for new single "With You" ft. Gucci Mane & Asian Doll

British singer Jay Sean has released the official music video for his new single "With You," featuring Gucci Mane and Asian Doll. The Jamar Harding directed visual dropped on April 1st, and in it, there's a lot of booty. The video shows girls in bikinis and balaclavas riding down the road on two-wheel scooters. The actual single hit streaming sites with Republic Records on March 8th, after a long break from the London artist. Check out his new MV below.

Rapper Dok2 talks about working with Jay Park and G-Dragon (from BIGBANG) in Ep. 31 of "Fun With Dumb"

Illionaire Records co-founder Dok2 is a pioneer in the South Korean hip-hop industry, but he rarely gives interviews. Lucky for fans, the rapper sat down on two separate occasions recently to talk about his life and the rise of hip-hop in South Korea. The first interview was for the March 7th face to face with rapper Snacky Chan for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod."   The second was for American rapper Dumbfoundead's March 20th (ep. 31) podcast of "Fun With Dumb." During the podcast, Dok2 provided a mini-history lesson for anyone interested in South Korean hip-hop. Beginning with his early rise, the rapper says he's been making moves in the industry since 2002 when he was 12-years-old. What's Next for Jay Park After Dropping Visual for New Song "To Life" and Stepping Down As CEO of AOMG and H1GHR MUSIC?

He's touched millions of hearts with his music, dance moves and public actions for more than a decade, and now mega entertainer Jay Park is starting a new chapter with a "toast to life."  On January 1, the singer/rapper turned entrepreneur dropped the official music video on his YouTube channel, for his new single-- "To Life." The song is about his hustle in the music industry and other achievements. In the visual, the long-time artist sets his AOMG ring and H1GHR MUSIC chain down on a display. The scene cementing his December 31 social media announcement of his decision to step down from his position of CEO from both of his hip-hop music labels-- AOMG and H1GHR MUSIC.  Park founded AOMG in 2013, just years after parting ways with JYP Entertainment, where he was the leader of KPOP group 2PM. Rapper Dok2 talks about his personal life and South Korean hip-hop - in English ("Kill Bill") interview with Snacky Chan for "Undergod"

On the March 7th episode of ' Target: Billboard - Kill Bill,' legendary rapper Dok2 brought a number of notable Korean (and Korean-American) rappers out on stage with him to perform his latest song. The show ' Kill Bill'  is an MBC hip-hop survival program which aims to put a South Korean hip-hop artist on the Billboard charts with a collaboration with DJ Khaled. Artists who hit the stage with Dok2 during this episode were Snacky Chan, Changmo, Double K, Deepflow, Los, Young B, Pyunny, Keem Hyo-Eun, Junoflo and Nucksal. After the show, Dok2 and Snacky Chan went backstage to record an interview for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod." During their one on one, Dok2 compares hip-hop styles of trap and boom bap. The Full First LIVE Performance of Kris Wu & Travis Scott - "Deserve" - It's Fire!

If you're sitting down, just go ahead and stand up and get ready to move, because once you see this full clip of Kris Wu's and Travis Scott's first live performance of their new single "Deserve," you won't be able to sit still. According to Wu's social media posts on October 13, the two took over New York City (at the Up&Down Club), during the release party for "DESERVE."  And their hip-hop performance is banging hot!  When Scott introduces Wu on stage, he says "It's time to get ratchet,"  and the two turn up for real. Perhaps one of the best known hip-hop and R&B crews in South Korea, members of FANXY CHILD have teamed up once again to drop a new single and visual titled "Y." The track hit streaming sites on August 9th featuring ZICO, CRUSH, DEAN, PENOMECO and producers MILLIC and STAYTUNED. Previously we've seen them collaborate on such hits and music videos like Millic's "Paradise" and Zico's "Fanxy Child" and "Bermuda Triangle." R&B singer J Dep dropped his soulful song "Cambodian Queen" back in March as part of a double single, which includes the track "Down."
