Singer UMI remembers a "High School" love in new single and MV

Taking a step back in time... Up and coming singer UMI dropped her latest single and music video - "High School," on January 25. The retro visual finds her and her teenage love interest at a house party.

The single follows UMI's mesmerizing duet, "Lullaby" with singer Yeek, which dropped in December. Her video for her song "Remember Me," which has more than four million views, dropped in October.

Although she's a newcomer to the industry; the young LA-based recording artist, who got her start by posting her music to SoundCloud and YouTube, grew up surrounded by musicians. In an interview with online blog Paramind, she told them that her mom was a pianist, her dad played the drums, and her aunt is a blues singer...

There was always music playing in my house and because I’m both Black and Japanese, I grew up listening to lots of different types of music (from gospel to R&B to Japanese pop to Korean music).

Drake and Jack Harlow shoot music video during The Kentucky Derby for song "Churchill Downs"

On the eve of the 148th running of the Kentucky Derby, Louisville native and rapper, 24-year-old Jack Harlow dropped his new album- "Come Home the Kids Miss You." The project hit streaming sites on May 6th, one day before the May 7th Derby at the Churchill Downs horse-racetrack in Louisville. Harlow's album includes the Drake-assisted song "Churchill Downs," in which the two rappers share lyrics of introspection before Drake wraps up the more than five minute track with... "Kentucky derby races, my presence in the spot is so abrasive. Box at the Churchill Downs, that's motivation, yeah. And shorty like, "You know that boy Jack is goin' places." H1GHR MUSIC fans have more questions after label drops compilation single - "BRB"

H1GHR MUSIC returned with a new compilation single and visual on July 27. The title for the new song-- "BRB," is an acronym for "Be Right Back." The track produced by GroovyRoom and Cha Cha Malone, includes arstists HAON, Sik-K, TRADE L, BIG Naughty, pH-1, PARK HYEON JIN, JAY B and Jay Park. The song includes the lyrics: "We'll meet again after looking around" and "H1GHR gang, no label, issa la familia." Fans are commenting under the official music video for the song, saying the lyrics are sad and appear to suggest an ending or hiatus. The new release comes just days after rapper pH-1 deleted his posts on Instagram and after H1GHR MUSIC announced the departures of rapper Sik-K and GOT7 singer JAY B, after the expiration of their contracts. When you got it, you got it, and dance instructor Insun Lee, has it. Lee is an instructor with Prepix Studio in South Korea. Prepix has worked on a number of dance projects and videos with entertainer Jay Park.
