It's all about the "HUSTLE" for rappers Los and Dok2


Throwing down some old school beats and flow, rappers Los and Dok2 have teamed up for a new DOOMSDAY produced track titled - "HUSTLE." The single was released under WESTUP RECORDS on January 21.

Illionaire Records (Ghood Life Crew and Ambition Musik) co-founder Dok2 (who's also been a judge/producer on the South Korean series Show Me The Money), captioned on Instagram with his lyrics, that he "hustles even when taking a break." California rapper (and former contestant on SMTM) Los, captioned "RESPECT THE HUSTLE" on Instagram.  Listen to the preview of the new single below.

New Video Drop: Rich Brian raps to an ex-girlfriend about their "History" in his latest visual

88rising artist Brian Imanuel (a.k.a. Rich Brian) has just dropped the official music video for his track "History." In the visual released on October 10, he raps to an ex-girlfriend at a party about what could've been for them, as he tries to get her back. The Indonesian (born) rapper, co-directed his new music video with James Defina. The self-produced track originally hit streaming sites as part of the 88rising collective album "Head in the Clouds," back in July. Check out the video below. Rich Brian can also be seen on the First We Feast series "Feast Mansion" with labelmate Joji, and is currently on a North America tour with 88rising. New Michael Jackson Tribute Video from Jason Derulo, LAY & NCT 127 - "Let's Shut Up and Dance"

In a video dedicated to Michael Jackson, American singer Jason Derulo teamed up with South Korean SM Entertainment kpop idols-- NCT 127 and LAY (from kpop group EXO). The collaboration for "Let's Shut Up and Dance" hit YouTube on February 21st, and the single hit music streaming sites on the 22nd. The song is the first single off a four-track EP titled "The Greatest Dancer," dedicated to the late King of Pop. According to the The Korea Times , the mini-album will be released on June 25, which marks the 10th anniversary of Jackson's death. Jay Park Performs English Version of "Yacht" For "24 Hours of Reality"

Jay Park has premiered the full English version of his song "Yacht." The singer performed it for the first time on Dec. 5, on former U.S. Vice President Al Gore's "24 Hours of Reality." The program streams live every year scientists, business leaders and celebrities talking about "the climate crisis." This is the second year, for Jay Park to lend his voice and talent to the program. Rapper Dok2 talks about working with Jay Park and G-Dragon (from BIGBANG) in Ep. 31 of "Fun With Dumb"

Illionaire Records co-founder Dok2 is a pioneer in the South Korean hip-hop industry, but he rarely gives interviews. Lucky for fans, the rapper sat down on two separate occasions recently to talk about his life and the rise of hip-hop in South Korea. The first interview was for the March 7th face to face with rapper Snacky Chan for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod."   The second was for American rapper Dumbfoundead's March 20th (ep. 31) podcast of "Fun With Dumb." During the podcast, Dok2 provided a mini-history lesson for anyone interested in South Korean hip-hop. Beginning with his early rise, the rapper says he's been making moves in the industry since 2002 when he was 12-years-old. B.I links up with Soulja Boy and DeVita in new song - "BTBT"

South Korean rapper and singer B.I dropped his new collaboration "BTBT," with American rapper Soulja Boy on May 13. His song featuring AOMG singer DeVita, is a pre-release off his upcoming album project "LOVE OR LOVED [L.O.L]." The single is a mixture of dance vibes with afrobeat backgrounds. The song title refers to a Korean phrase that means staggering.  B.I is a former member of Kpop group iKON, and he's now releasing music as a solo artist under his 131 Label, affiliated with IOK Music. On May 13, the rapper released a futuristic music video with the rollout for "BTBT." He has also announced a performance video with choreography by AITTY TOO for the single. That visual is due out on May 17 (or May 18 KST). 

BIG Naughty drops First Single under H1GHR MUSIC - "Where It All Started Remix" feat. Verbal Jint & Beenzino

BIG Naughty is making a big impression, in his first release under hip-hop label H1GHR MUSIC. The up and coming South Korean singer/rapper dropped his "Where It All Started Remix," featuring rappers Verbal Jint and Beenzino on November 21. The remix is actually of Verbal Jint's song "시발점," featuring Beenzino from his 2015 "GO HARD, Pt. 1" album. You can find both versions now on streaming sites. Music fans first heard that BIG Naughty had joined H1GHR MUSIC on October 6th, during the 2019 Off Route Fest in South Korea . He's now the youngest artist with the label. His growing rise to fame includes competing on season 8 of Show Me The Money. You can see more of him by watching his Vlog, showing his interaction at school, on the H1GHR MUSIC YouTube channel.

YG singer-songwriter Joe Rhee, has made his solo artist debut as Vince, for THE BLACK LABEL, a South Korean record label and a subsidiary of YG Entertainment.
