New Video Drop: NIKI is a Warrior Princess in New Music Video "Warpaint"


In her new video "Warpaint," 88rising R&B and pop singer, NIKI, is like an Amazon warrior princess leading a tribe of female survivors through a jungle of life. The artist, originally from Indonesia, sings about the strength of a woman surviving heartbreak, in this track from the recently released 17-song collective 88rising "Head in the Clouds" album.

Rapper Dok2 talks about working with Jay Park and G-Dragon (from BIGBANG) in Ep. 31 of "Fun With Dumb"

Illionaire Records co-founder Dok2 is a pioneer in the South Korean hip-hop industry, but he rarely gives interviews. Lucky for fans, the rapper sat down on two separate occasions recently to talk about his life and the rise of hip-hop in South Korea. The first interview was for the March 7th face to face with rapper Snacky Chan for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod."   The second was for American rapper Dumbfoundead's March 20th (ep. 31) podcast of "Fun With Dumb." During the podcast, Dok2 provided a mini-history lesson for anyone interested in South Korean hip-hop. Jay Park Celebrates National Liberation Day of Korea with new video for "DNA Remix"

After facing backlash for the original "DNA Remix" video, H1GHR MUSIC CEO Jay Park has uploaded a new video for the collaboration project. The new video, showing the culture, traditions and landmarks of South Korea through the eyes of a young boy, hit YouTube on August 15 to coincide with National Liberation Day of Korea.  The holiday, according to Wikipedia, is celebrated every year on August 15, in both South and North Korea, in commemoration of the victory over Japan, "when at the end of World War II, the U.S. and allied forces helped end 35 years of Japanese occupation and colonial rule of Korea, which lasted from 1910–1945." On social media, H1GHR MUSIC says the day "represents South Korea and its peoples’ perseverance, pride and courage." Artist AUDREY NUNA Sings About her need for "Space" in New Single Release

The feeling of drowning underwater and inner struggles, singer/rapper AUDREY NUNA delivers an emotional piece in her latest single and visual-- "Space." The Korean-American artist from New Jersey dropped her new music and official video for it, on her birthday, April 2. She co-directed the visual with Loris Russier and Khufu Najee, showing stunning scenes of turmoil. Check it out below.

CONCERT WATCH: Flowsik in Europe This Summer

After back to back collaborations with rapper/singer Jessi, Korean-American rapper Flowsik is hitting the road, and going on a mini-tour in Europe. The tour is presented by the kpop party crew, Young Bros, and kicks off June 1st in Amsterdam. Meanwhile his two releases with Korean-American star Jessi, are doing well. The feel good song "All I Need," dropped on March 31, and Flowsik and Jessi have promoted the track on Korean music shows. The second release, "Wet," dropped on April 4, and the sexy visual for it, has more than a million views on YouTube. A lot of people were first introduced to (Jay Pak) Flowsik with the release of the melodic quick flow of the "The Calling," and then with his part on "EUNG FREESTYLE," the viral rap track, he collaborated on with other heavy hitters such as LIVE, Sik-K, Punchnello and Owen Ovadoz. Song of The Day: SHAUN - "Thinking Of" - feat. OVAN & SUMIN

  Looking for a new summer jam? Check out DJ SHAUN's electric dance track, "Thinking Of" featuring rapper OVAN and singer SUMIN. The single is the title track off his first solo mini album, "TAKE." The vocal EDM artist is known for his skill with synthesizers, and is a member of the South Korean indie rock band, The KOXX (which formed in 2009). SHAUN's EP dropped on June 27, along with a music video for "Thinking Of (생각나)." The mv features two beautiful women enjoying themselves at the beach and elsewhere, and also includes OVAN on the mic. KATIE Returns With New Single & MV - "ECHO"

Singer KATIE is back with another smooth sultry track. The artist released her new single "ECHO" and the visual for it on April 24. KATIE dropped her debut EP "LOG," in 2019. It included a feature with Ty Dolla $ign on her breakout hit "Remember." According to the description on her YouTube channel, the singer worked with the same producers and music video director for both "Remember" and "ECHO."

New Video Drop: JINBO - "You Just Have To"

South Korean R&B singer JINBO, may have built his ideal woman as an AI robot, in his latest music video. The SuperFreakRecords' artist released the mv for "You Just Have To" on August 28, and you may have to watch it a couple of times, to get the plot twist. The visual comes after the August 14 release of his music video "So To Speak," with Crush and Hoody, which honors Kim SungJae, a member of the '90s duo DEUX, who died a suspicious death after his solo debut. JINBO's new music video was directed by 725, and has a sexy-tragic storyline. The song produced by Nounou Paris, was written by JINBO the SuperFreak himself. New South Korean R&B: Goopy - "Lazy"

South Korean artist Goopy just wants to chill. The singer dropped his first single, "Lazy," on November 26. The R&B track was produced by H1GHR MUSIC's Thurxday (aka Mokyo). On the song, Goopy's soulful vocals ride on smooth hi-hat percussion beats, which change out for an ominous end. You can find the release on streaming sites. Check out the Apple Music preview below.

NEW MUSIC: Michael Brun shares the Sounds of Haiti in Debut Album - "LOKAL"

Following his Bayo 2019 Tour, Port-au-Prince native Michael Brun is back with his debut album - "LOKAL." The 9-track project hit streaming sites on June 26. The producer focuses on the sounds of Haiti - with styles such as kompa and rara, mixed with EDM. The album features collaborations with fellow Haitian artists and musicians from around the world - including Eddy Francois, Mr Eazi, Anie Alerte, Major Lazer, Baky, Adekunle Gold and more. Jay Park Adds and Interacts With Fans on Instagram Live Before Hawaii Concert

Social media is allowing fans and artists to interact with each other like never before. While in a room in Hawaii, on Sunday, April 1, singer/rapper/co-CEO Jay Park, discovered a feature during his Instagram Live stream, which allowed him to add and connect with fans, for 'one on one' time, but in front of thousands of people peering in. Jay Park was in Hawaii for a concert, with Hoody and pH-1 happening later that night.  At almost five minutes into his livestream, we hear the Roc Nation artist say, "I've never done this before."
