Rich Chigga Changes Stage Name & Drops New Track


  
Brian Imanuel, who went by the controversial stage name of Rich Chigga, has just changed his name, to just Brian. Posting on social media, the young rapper from Indonesia says he was "naive and made a mistake" with the name 'Rich Chigga.'   The 18-year-old also dropped a new single, "See Me," which is from his upcoming album, "Amen." The debut album project drops on February 2nd.

Rapper Jessi and Jay Park "Drip" with Swag in New Music & MV

Rapper Jessi is back with another single under P NATION (the South Korean record label founded by Psy). This time around, Jessi has global star Jay Park on the track and visual. Jessi released their collaboration - "Drip" on November 1st, and straight out the gate, she comes out swinging with swag, and singing, that she's not "going anywhere." Park joins her midway in-- getting his brag on-- with a smooth flow about his "legacy." Check out the new music and video below.

Song of the Day: Yayoi Daimon - 「ヒールで仁王立ち」 ("Heel de Nioudachi")

On Instagram, Yayoi Daimon describes herself as a Japanese feminist. The rapper/singer-songwriter/DJ released her single「ヒールで仁王立ち」("Heel de Nioudachi") back on August 8th of last year. She dropped her fierce official music video for it, on September 12th. With a quick flow, and strong bass-- the lyrics, all in Japanese- focus on female empowerment; fiercely interpreted in the visual. Roof Top releases "Ugly Face" MV with New Music - "UNFAIR"

Rappers Blase and Dive In Purple, from Roof Top (and Hive Crew), have just dropped a 3-track banger titled "UNFAIR." The duo from South Korea's SM Entertainment's hip-hop sub-label MILLION MARKET, released their new music produced by GXXD (Girlnexxtdoor) on June 23. It features artists Sik-K and Coogie. Also with the drop, a hot new visual for their track "Ugly Face." Check it out below.

Avatar Darko Officially Signs With H1GHR MUSIC

Seattle Rapper Avatar Darko, has officially signed with hip-hop label H1GHR MUSIC. The CEOs, Jay Park and Cha Cha Malone, posted the official video on June 5th, to social media of Avatar signing the contract, and receiving his H1GHR MUSIC gold chain.  The new signee is fresh off a U.S. tour with his H1GHR MUSIC labelmates (which wrapped on May 8th in Seattle). Female Rapper Celebrates Driving in Saudi Arabia - with a Hip-Hop Video

by Nefertiti Jenkins Leesa A is a hip-hop artist in Saudi Arabia, and she's celebrating the fact, that she can now legally drive a car in her home country. According to BBC News , the law officially changed on June 24, ending the decades-old ban, in which women in Saudi Arabia could not drive, and "families had to hire private chauffeurs for female relatives." The change was announced last September, and the first licenses were issued earlier this month, according to the BBC. Soon after the ban was lifted, Leesa uploaded a rap video to Instagram and YouTube, showing the young woman, behind the wheel of a car spitting bars. The video has been shared extensively on social media, including by actress Jada Pinkett Smith, who also included the lyrics translated in English, under her caption for her post on Instagram. According to the BBC, when Leesa refers to the tenth, that's a reference to the date of June 24, in the lunar-based Islamic calendar. Check out t

Dance Moves of The Day: NCT U - Taeyong & Ten - "Baby Don't Stop" Dance Practice

Taeyong and Ten, two of the members from the kpop sub-group NCT U, have swag and a lot of it at that. Most of their fans already knew this, but for newcomers, the dance practice video released by SM Entertainment in South Korea, confirms it. The visual in the official video for "Baby Don't Stop," was already a heart stopper. But now, inside a dance studio, for the dance practice video, Taeyong and Ten make their hard, smooth and sexy hip-hop moves with quick hand and footwork, look even sexier. The choreography is really good, and the song itself is pretty tight. The dance practice (below) was released on March 16, and has over one million views. NEW VIDEO DROP: Kris Wu Releases Beautiful MV for -- "Tian Di"

Melodic hip-hop rapper Kris Wu, is delivering up a beautifully shot cinematic official music video for his new track "Tian Di," which dropped on YouTube on June 11. In the description box, it says the visual, was directed by the artist himself. The mv opens with Kris dressed in traditional clothing, in the middle of a bamboo forest. The actual track for it, was released in Asia, on June 6. Kris Wu, the former EXO, kpop boy band member, originally from China, but raised in Canada -- gained stardom in South Korea, and is now signed with  Universal Music Group . In May, under UMG, he debuted the single and mv for  "Like That" in English, which now has more than 13 million views. The new single, "Tian Di" is in Chinese. Just Jerk Crew Performs During Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony

We're only two months in, and 2018 has already been a good year for Just Jerk Crew. They are the featured backup dancers in the official music video for Jay Park and Yultron's "Forget About Tomorrow," and they just recently announced the opening of their new dance academy in South Korea. The popular urban dance team from Seoul, has been making moves together since 2010, and has even competed on America's Got Talent, season 12. Now, the group is getting even more international recognition, after performing live during the Opening Ceremony for the Winter Olympics in PyeongChang. The group has shared a clip of the performance on Instagram, and some of the members have even shared behind the scenes group photos. Vietnamese Rapper Suboi - Drops MV for Summer Anthem "N-SAO?"

Suboi is now known as Vietnam's queen of hip-hop, after becoming the first successful female Vietnamese rapper in her country. On August 2nd, she released the official music video on the 88rising YouTube channel, for her latest track, "N-SAO?"  On it, the 28-year-old artist spits bars over a club beat. Suboi has been making music since 2007. Her last EP, "2.7," dropped in October of 2017.  In 2016, she freestyled for former U.S. President Barack Obama during his visit to Vietnam. Her new song, in Vietnamese (with English subtitles on the visual), is a summer anthem about empowerment.  Check out the music video down below.
