KHip-Hop Tours/Concerts Happening Soon in 2022

Fans of South Korean hip-hop will soon have a chance to see their favorite artists on stage. More than two years after the coronavirus pandemic put live in-person performances on hold, now with declining cases globally, artists are once again preparing to go on tour. 

That includes Khip-hop rapper, Hi-Lite Records founder Paloalto, as well as AOMG artists YUGYEOM, Woo, Coogie, Sogumm, DeVita and DJ Wegun. In addition, Kpop mega stars BTS are also preparing for a mini- Las Vegas residency.

Rapper Paloalto kicks off the Khip-hop tour season. His U.S. tour begins March 10 in New York. He then hits the stage in Washington, D.C., Los Angeles and Seattle. 

AOMG artists Woo, Coogie, Sogumm, DeVita and DJ Wegun begin their "Above Ordinary USA Tour" on March 18 at South by Southwest (SXSW) in Austin, Texas. The labelmates then hit the road for concerts in Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Minneapolis, New York City, Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Kpop group BTS hits the stage in Las Vegas for four shows on April 8, 9, 15 and 16 at the Allegiant Stadium. The final show will also be broadcast live online.

AOMG singer and GOT7 member YUGYEOM goes on tour in Germany beginning May 5th in Berlin, before hitting the stage in Munich and Oberhausen.

Sheaden Gabriel, from California, has been a YouTube sensation for years and he's only 13-years-old. He's the kid seen dancing and making crazy faces on a number of choreographers' channels, and recently was one of the dancers featured in Chris Brown's new music video "Party." This week Gabriel has been uploading videos to his YouTube channel , and it's the first time he's done so in more than a year. BTS To Perform at Billboard Music Awards

Back on American television. Kpop group BTS announced on April 24, that it will be performing at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards. The show is May 20th on NBC. The group has been nominated for the Top Social Artist award. Last year BTS won the title, and attended the show. This year, according to Billboard, the members will perform with a world television premiere of a new single. Two days before, according to BTS, the members will release their new full album "Love Yourself: Tear" on May 18. Last year in November, BTS debuted on American television for a performance at the American Music Awards. The seven-member boy group also was on the "The Ellen Show," "Jimmy Kimmel Live," and "The Late Late Show with James Corden." Fans still have questions about ECÂF after the release of Ruel's new single & MV - "Face To Face"

(Updated September 10) - Ruel has dropped the Behind The Scenes video for "Face To Face." On Sept. 10, he revealed that the actress portraying ECÂF in the music video and on Twitter, is named Tatiana. And the person who sings the vocals for her single release, "Pictures," is actually Ruel's sister Coco. Original Post (08/11/19) ... SONG of The Week: EXO - "Ya Ya Ya" - with a sample from SWV- “You’re the One”

It's that 90s sample that makes the song. On November 27, Kpop group EXO released their sixth album titled "OBSESSION." On it, the track "Ya Ya Ya," which samples American R&B trio-- SWV, and their 1996 hit-- “You’re the One.” The new song from EXO, "Ya Ya Ya," was co-produced by Dem Jointz, who’s previously worked with Dr. Dre, Anderson .Paak and ScHoolboy Q, according to Genius.com. The vocals on the song include the current six active members of the group... Sehun, Chen, Chanyeol, Kai, Baekhyun, and Suho. And it's the loop of that SWV sample throughout the track, that makes you want to hear the song over and over again, after you first hit play. The repeat-- for the club, campus, home or car. Bruno Mars shares Behind the Scenes clip from the Making of "24K Magic"

Bruno Mars has shared a never before seen clip of the making of "24K Magic," the title track and lead single from his third studio album (of the same name). On June 27, the singer uploaded video on Twitter and Instagram, and wrote that he found it in his cell phone.  The video shows producer Brody Brown and Mars trying to figure out the groove for "24k Magic" in 2015. According to Bruno Mars, they tried nearly 100 different patterns and pockets to finally land what we hear today (a Zapp & Roger inspired track). Avatar Darko Officially Signs With H1GHR MUSIC

Seattle Rapper Avatar Darko, has officially signed with hip-hop label H1GHR MUSIC. The CEOs, Jay Park and Cha Cha Malone, posted the official video on June 5th, to social media of Avatar signing the contract, and receiving his H1GHR MUSIC gold chain.  The new signee is fresh off a U.S. tour with his H1GHR MUSIC labelmates (which wrapped on May 8th in Seattle). He also hit the stage with them back in March, for South by Southwest. New Music On The Way: Sik-K from H1GHR MUSIC collaboration with Whee In (from Mamamoo) "EASY" teaser

Trap rapper Sik-K, from H1GHR MUSIC has a collaboration on the way with Whee In, the lead vocalist from South Korean girl group Mamamoo. The new material is dropping soon. On Sunday, April 15, the "YeLowS Gang" artist shared a teaser of the music video which is called "Easy." BamBam from GOT7 delivers a trap hook and flow, with Thai rapper F.HERO (ฟักกลิ้ง ฮีโร่) on the new KILO KEYS produced track - "Do You." The song is off F.HERO's new 32-track album - "INTO THE NEW ERA." The visual for "Do You" dropped on October 16, with a suave BamBam dressed in black. Jarv Dee Drops Final Single Under H1GHR MUSIC - "No Regrets" feat. Sik-K & pH-1

Seattle artist Jarv Dee is parting ways with hip-hop label H1GHR MUSIC. The rapper dropped his track "No Regrets" featuring South Korean rappers Sik-K and pH-1 on December 27, as his last single with the label. Jarv Dee and H1GHR MUSIC posted the announcement on social media about the departure, shortly after the release of the new song. The label was founded by Jay Park and Cha Cha Malone in 2017, and Jarv Dee as one of its artists, had been with H1GHR MUSIC since then. Gump Drops Visual for Groovy New Song- "Sitcom"

South Korean artist Gump croons over smooth melodies in his new groovy track- "Sitcom." The song dropped with a quirky visual on October 13, under South Korean Indie music distributor -Mirrorball Music.  "Sitcom" is the title track of Gump's triple-single project, which also includes the songs "Merry-go" and "Fragile."  Check it out below.
