Rappers oygli, PUFF DAEHEE, Ugly Duck & Paloalto Team Up for "Around Here" Project

Helping to spotlight one of the 25 districts in Seoul, South Korea, rappers oygli, PUFF DAEHEE (from 8BallTown), Ugly Duck (from AOMG) and Paloalto (founder of Hi-Lite Records) have teamed up for a new song- "Around Here." The BRLLNT produced track hit streaming sites, with an official visual on February 20, as part of a project to revitalize the Yongsan-gu region. The music video was filmed in the Itaewon area of the district. Check it out below.

Jay Park Adds and Interacts With Fans on Instagram Live Before Hawaii Concert

Social media is allowing fans and artists to interact with each other like never before. While in a room in Hawaii, on Sunday, April 1, singer/rapper/co-CEO Jay Park, discovered a feature during his Instagram Live stream, which allowed him to add and connect with fans, for 'one on one' time, but in front of thousands of people peering in. Jay Park was in Hawaii for a concert, with Hoody and pH-1 happening later that night.  At almost five minutes into his livestream, we hear the Roc Nation artist say, "I've never done this before." He then says, "What, what's going on?" "Choose someone people who can see their live videos will be able to watch." He then admits, "I don't know what that means. I don't know what this is. Malaysian artist Yuna vibes like late 70s disco queen Donna Summer and diva Diana Ross in her latest pre-release off her upcoming project - "Rouge." The singer collaborated with English rapper Little Simz on the funky track titled - "Pink Youth." It hit streaming sites on June 28th. The song exudes girl power. Vietnamese Rapper Suboi - Drops MV for Summer Anthem "N-SAO?"

Suboi is now known as Vietnam's queen of hip-hop, after becoming the first successful female Vietnamese rapper in her country. On August 2nd, she released the official music video on the 88rising YouTube channel, for her latest track, "N-SAO?"  On it, the 28-year-old artist spits bars over a club beat. Suboi has been making music since 2007. Her last EP, "2.7," dropped in October of 2017.  In 2016, she freestyled for former U.S. President Barack Obama during his visit to Vietnam. Her new song, in Vietnamese (with English subtitles on the visual), is a summer anthem about empowerment.  Check out the music video down below.

Jay Park Announces new H1GHR MUSIC Artist - Seo Donghyun a.k.a. Big Naughty

During the second and final day of his 2019  Off Route Fest in South Korea, co-CEO/entertainer Jay Park announced the newest member of his second label- H1GHR MUSIC, as rapper/singer Seo Donghyun a.k.a. Big Naughty. Park introduced the young artist on stage, on Oct. 6, in front of a crowd of thousands of people at the music festival, and later posted video of the moment to Instagram. According to Park, Donghyun is now the youngest member of the label (previously that title went to rapper Haon). Big Naughty was a contestant on season eight of the popular South Korean rap competition program - Show Me The Money (SMTM). He was eliminated in the semi-finals. Jay Park also currently has his own music audition competition show airing on MBN, in South Korea called SignHere . The show's goal is to find the next member of his first label - AOMG. Rapper BLOO from MKIT RAIN‏, has returned with his second mini album. "BLOO IN WONDERLAND" (featuring niahn and labelmate nafla) dropped on November 19, with an official music video for its BIG BANANA produced track "I'm the one." In the visual, BLOO (with a melodic flat electric delivery), has taken on the character of a man in an intimate relationship with a beautiful woman. The song, as well as other tracks on the EP, include partial lyrics in English. The mini-album also includes the pre-released single "Take me" (feat. nafla). The label he's with, MKIT RAIN, is a LA based hip-hop label, with artists who create South Korean content. BLOO, released his first EP, "Downtown Baby," back in 2017.
