Rappers oygli, PUFF DAEHEE, Ugly Duck & Paloalto Team Up for "Around Here" Project

Helping to spotlight one of the 25 districts in Seoul, South Korea, rappers oygli, PUFF DAEHEE (from 8BallTown), Ugly Duck (from AOMG) and Paloalto (founder of Hi-Lite Records) have teamed up for a new song- "Around Here." The BRLLNT produced track hit streaming sites, with an official visual on February 20, as part of a project to revitalize the Yongsan-gu region. The music video was filmed in the Itaewon area of the district. Check it out below.

NEW MUSIC & MV: INNA x Vinka - "Bebe"

An eccentric collaboration between Romanian singer INNA, and Vinka from Uganda. The two released their colorful official music video with moves from a subway train, for their song "Bebe" on November 4th. Inna is known for her 2008 breakout hit "Hot." Vinka, an artist under record label - Swangz Avenue, has been moving up in the music scene in Africa and making moves in Europe. Check out their new collaboration "Bebe" below.

Perhaps one of the best known hip-hop and R&B crews in South Korea, members of FANXY CHILD have teamed up once again to drop a new single and visual titled "Y." The track hit streaming sites on August 9th featuring ZICO, CRUSH, DEAN, PENOMECO and producers MILLIC and STAYTUNED. Previously we've seen them collaborate on such hits and music videos like Millic's "Paradise" and Zico's "Fanxy Child" and "Bermuda Triangle." FANXY CHILD will hold their first concert as a crew on August 10 and 11. Check out their new music below.

South Korean rapper Coogie drops new single as contract with AOMG expires

South Korean artist Coogie dropped his new single "1,2,3,4,5" on January 23, 2025--the same day record label AOMG announced its exclusive contract with the rapper had come to an end. Coogie signed with AOMG in 2022. He was previously signed under hip-hop label ATMseoul. He became known for his sing-song melodic rap style after participating in the South Korean rap competition series Show Me The Money 777 in 2018. The translation to AOMG's post on X reads... "Hello, this is AOMG. We would like to inform you that Coogie's exclusive contract has ended on January 23, 2025. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the fans who have shown much support and interest in Coogie and his wonderful activities that have made AOMG shine for a long time. BUMKEY Drops "All Of My Life" Single Feat. Babylon

South Korean artist BUMKEY teams up with R&B singer Babylon for a new summer love song titled "All Of My Life." The sweet ballad dropped on July 26 with an official music video on YouTube. Rapper Dok2 talks about working with Jay Park and G-Dragon (from BIGBANG) in Ep. 31 of "Fun With Dumb"

Illionaire Records co-founder Dok2 is a pioneer in the South Korean hip-hop industry, but he rarely gives interviews. Lucky for fans, the rapper sat down on two separate occasions recently to talk about his life and the rise of hip-hop in South Korea. The first interview was for the March 7th face to face with rapper Snacky Chan for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod." The second was for American rapper Dumbfoundead's March 20th (ep. 31) podcast of "Fun With Dumb." During the podcast, Dok2 provided a mini-history lesson for anyone interested in South Korean hip-hop. Beginning with his early rise, the rapper says he's been making moves in the industry since 2002 when he was 12-years-old. He told Dumbfoundead that he used to attend a school for foreigners in Busan (because of his mixed Korean, Spanish and Filipino heritage), but after 6th grade he moved to Seoul and did not return back to school (due to family financial reasons). The Spanish lyrics are explicit when translated into English, but this Latin Trap remix is so alluring, that you just can't help but to groove to it. Hip-hop artist Khea, from Argentina, dropped his "Loca" remix video featuring Bad Bunny, Duki and Cazzu back in April, and it currently has more than 173-million views on YouTube. The track, with its repetitive beat is about a "crazy" woman on social media, but towards the end of it, we hear the seductive female response from Argentine rapper Cazzu. Bruno Mars shares Behind the Scenes clip from the Making of "24K Magic"

Bruno Mars has shared a never before seen clip of the making of "24K Magic," the title track and lead single from his third studio album (of the same name). On June 27, the singer uploaded video on Twitter and Instagram, and wrote that he found it in his cell phone. The video shows producer Brody Brown and Mars trying to figure out the groove for "24k Magic" in 2015. According to Bruno Mars, they tried nearly 100 different patterns and pockets to finally land what we hear today (a Zapp & Roger inspired track). NEW MUSIC DROP: "Back For More" Remix - Justine Skye & Jay Park

In the middle of the afternoon (EST), on Tuesday, May 15, Jay Park true to his word, dropped a remix of Justine Skye's "Back For More." The day before, he tweeted on Twitter that if he got 3,000 retweets, then he would release the track. Well excited fans gave him more than 8,000 retweets. But still he wasn't able to drop the remix just yet.
