Rappers oygli, PUFF DAEHEE, Ugly Duck & Paloalto Team Up for "Around Here" Project

Helping to spotlight one of the 25 districts in Seoul, South Korea, rappers oygli, PUFF DAEHEE (from 8BallTown), Ugly Duck (from AOMG) and Paloalto (founder of Hi-Lite Records) have teamed up for a new song- "Around Here." The BRLLNT produced track hit streaming sites, with an official visual on February 20, as part of a project to revitalize the Yongsan-gu region. The music video was filmed in the Itaewon area of the district. Check it out below.

CONCERT WATCH: BTS World Tour - "Love Yourself "

Fans in love with BTS will get to see the kpop group live in concert in 2018. Big Hit Entertainment, the company for the South Korean boy band, announced on April 26, that the seven member group will be kicking off a "Love Yourself" World Tour on August 25th in Seoul. BTS will then perform in Los Angeles, CA on September 5, 6 & 8, followed by stops in Oakland, CA, Fort Worth, TX, Hamilton, Ontario, Newark, NJ, Chicago, IL, London, England, Amsterdam (The Netherlands), Berlin, Germany, and Paris, France. A video teaser for the tour has been uploaded on the Big Hit YouTube channel , and more dates are expected to be announced. Powerhouse Live, a tour management company, has posted on social media that ticket information for the BTS World Tour will be released on April 27, at 7 a.m. (PDT). Rapper Dok2 talks about working with Jay Park and G-Dragon (from BIGBANG) in Ep. 31 of "Fun With Dumb"

Illionaire Records co-founder Dok2 is a pioneer in the South Korean hip-hop industry, but he rarely gives interviews. Lucky for fans, the rapper sat down on two separate occasions recently to talk about his life and the rise of hip-hop in South Korea. The first interview was for the March 7th face to face with rapper Snacky Chan for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod." The second was for American rapper Dumbfoundead's March 20th (ep. 31) podcast of "Fun With Dumb." During the podcast, Dok2 provided a mini-history lesson for anyone interested in South Korean hip-hop. Beginning with his early rise, the rapper says he's been making moves in the industry since 2002 when he was 12-years-old. Just Jerk Crew Performs During Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony

We're only two months in, and 2018 has already been a good year for Just Jerk Crew. They are the featured backup dancers in the official music video for Jay Park and Yultron's "Forget About Tomorrow," and they just recently announced the opening of their new dance academy in South Korea. The popular urban dance team from Seoul, has been making moves together since 2010, and has even competed on America's Got Talent, season 12. Now, the group is getting even more international recognition, after performing live during the Opening Ceremony for the Winter Olympics in PyeongChang. The group has shared a clip of the performance on Instagram, and some of the members have even shared behind the scenes group photos. Jay Park has premiered the full English version of his song "Yacht." The singer performed it for the first time on Dec. 5, on former U.S. Vice President Al Gore's "24 Hours of Reality." New Video Drop: Rich Brian raps to an ex-girlfriend about their "History" in his latest visual

88rising artist Brian Imanuel (a.k.a. Rich Brian) has just dropped the official music video for his track "History." In the visual released on October 10, he raps to an ex-girlfriend at a party about what could've been for them, as he tries to get her back. The Indonesian (born) rapper, co-directed his new music video with James Defina. The self-produced track originally hit streaming sites as part of the 88rising collective album "Head in the Clouds," back in July. Check out the video below. British singer Jay Sean has released the official music video for his new single "With You," featuring Gucci Mane and Asian Doll. The Jamar Harding directed visual dropped on April 1st, and in it, there's a lot of booty. The video shows girls in bikinis and balaclavas riding down the road on two-wheel scooters. Kpop group ENHYPEN earns new fans with American television "Loose" debut performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live

On the night of Thursday, April 10, South Korean boy band ENHYPEN hit the stage on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live with body rolls and screaming young kpop fans in the studio audience, as they performed their new English language single "Loose," for their American television debut. The performance left an impression on the television viewing audience across the country, with at least one viewer calling into an ABC local news station in Kentucky well after midnight, inquiring about the name of the group. The excited viewer asked the morning show news producer who picked up the phone, questions about where to find information about ENHYPEN, and where exactly the group was from. After the producer explained the kpop genre to the viewer, and shared information on how to find the performance on the Jimmy Kimmel Live YouTube channel, the caller then encouraged the producer to watch the performance herself, in which she later did, thus becoming a new fan of the group as well. ...
