Brazilian singer Mc Rebecca slows it down to a sensual grind in her summer release - "Só Pra Você," with rapper Gaab. The song hit streaming sites with a seductive video on June 18. It's the third single from her quarantine "Carentena" project. The artist, known for her funk carioca music or baile funk, has also dropped a titillating choreography video for "Só Pra Você." New Video Drop: French Montana - "Famous"

Hip-Hop artist French Montana is taking fans once again back to Africa. In 2017, we got to experience the rhythm of Uganda, in his video "Unforgettable," (ft. Swae Lee). Now for 2018, in a new video called "Famous," Montana takes us to Morocco, where he was born and raised (he moved to the U.S. when he was a teen). The visual was uploaded on January 18. With it, we see his love for the people, the land, and the culture, including his favorite childhood sport of soccer. Montana also visits his grandmother's grave, and towards the end of the video, he takes us to an outdoor celebration, with traditional dancers and clothing. The mv is beautiful and compelling. New Music: Lil Boi - "David" with just the right Old School Feels

Mixing up the hip-hop beats with old school R&B, South Korean rapper Lil Boi returned for a two-track single release on December 7th, titled "David." Lil Boi, a member of the duo Geeks, is managed under Grandline Entertainment. His new release consist of the tracks, "Go" and "David," (featuring Kim E-Z), which the latter track begins with a piano melody on love, but then switches the beat for a bounce flow. According to the agency, "David" is a prologue to the rapper's upcoming first full-length album; "Meantime," but the track "Go" will not be on it. Many Show Me The Money fans may remember Lil Boi from season four in 2015, as a contestant with team AOMG, with Jay Park and Loco as producers/judges and Geegooin, Sik-K and David Kim as team members. While fans of khip-hop were waiting for the latest release from their already established favorite artists, three young rising rappers, dropped a music video on January 5, and blew everyone away. The next generation to represent Korean Hip-Hop, consists of trainees Jo Woo Chan, Park Hyun Jin and Achillo. Jo Woo Chan is with Cube Entertainment and participated in Show Me The Money 6. Park Hyun Jin is from Starship Entertainment and won K-Pop Star 6 (with Kim Jong-seob as part of the duo Boyfriend). ACHILLO is also with Starship. Together the three have collaborated on the track “OGZ” (Produced by H1GHR MUSIC’s GroovyRoom), for the “OG SCHOOL PROJECT.” According to 1theK, “OGZ” comes from 'OG' Original Gangster (a respected artist who has been around for years, in the hip hop community), and the new Korean term 'Ojida' which means brilliant and talented. Has Jay Park come full circle with upcoming AOMG Audition Program "Sign Here" on MBN?

He has shared his story hundreds of times. CEO Jay Park got his start in the music industry after auditioning in Seattle as a teen to join JYP, one of the largest entertainment companies in South Korea. According to online sources, after being accepted, Park trained in South Korea as part of a kpop group known as One Day. Part of the group's training was broadcast as a reality survival documentary show on MNET called Hot Blood . After the show, One Day was split into two separate groups-- 2AM and 2PM. Via fan votes, Park became the leader of 2PM. 2PM debuted with the song "10 Out of 10" in 2008. But by 2010, Park was officially out of the group, and back home in Seattle. Fast forward to today, and Jay Park is signed to Roc Nation and has founded his own entertainment companies; hip-hop labels AOMG and H1GHR MUSIC, and he is now currently launching an AOMG audition program called "Sign Here" on MBN. Jitomo and Lil Cherry leave WEDAPLUGG RECORDS

Just a month after the release of her video "Mona Lisa," featuring Jito Mo, for Wedaplugg Records-- trap artist Lil Cherry and fellow artist Jitomo, are now both out from the label. We Da Plugg Records, run by South Korean rappers Giriboy and Swings, announced the departure on social media on Nov. 16. Artists who are still with the label are: Jhnovr, YUNHWAY and producer sAewoo. This is an announcement from We Da Plugg. Jitomo and Lil Cherry will no longer be a part of the label. Although we were disconcerted from the sudden news, both had reasons to leave and we send them in peace. Nevertheless, the agenda for We Da Plugg will not change. We sincerely thank our fans and supporters.

Rapper Dok2 talks about his personal life and South Korean hip-hop - in English ("Kill Bill") interview with Snacky Chan for "Undergod"

On the March 7th episode of ' Target: Billboard - Kill Bill,' legendary rapper Dok2 brought a number of notable Korean (and Korean-American) rappers out on stage with him to perform his latest song. The show ' Kill Bill' is an MBC hip-hop survival program which aims to put a South Korean hip-hop artist on the Billboard charts with a collaboration with DJ Khaled. Artists who hit the stage with Dok2 during this episode were Snacky Chan, Changmo, Double K, Deepflow, Los, Young B, Pyunny, Keem Hyo-Eun, Junoflo and Nucksal. After the show, Dok2 and Snacky Chan went backstage to record an interview for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod." During their one on one, Dok2 compares hip-hop styles of trap and boom bap. South Korean singer SUMIN has released her first full-length album, along with a music video to go with the title song featuring Xin Seha. The 11-track LP "Your Home," dropped on August 10th on Korean streaming sites. The mv (uploaded to YouTube) begins with a suitcase falling from the sky into an ocean. The video looks retro, and the song vibes like 80s R&B. The lyrics are in Korean, and even if you don't understand it, you'll still fall in love with her vocals and the track's flow.
