It's "Now or Never" for Coi Leray with New EP & MV for the track "Do Better"

Singer Coi Leray delivers a mixed bag of hip-hop, smooth melodies and island beats in her new EP "Now or Never." The project includes features from Gunna, Sevyn Streeter, Kiana Ledé and Fetty Wap. The mini-album dropped on August 14 with an official music video for her inspirational song "Do Better," which has her rapping about reaching for more in life, during a game of flag football. Jay Park Celebrates National Liberation Day of Korea with new video for "DNA Remix"

After facing backlash for the original "DNA Remix" video, H1GHR MUSIC CEO Jay Park has uploaded a new video for the collaboration project. The new video, showing the culture, traditions and landmarks of South Korea through the eyes of a young boy, hit YouTube on August 15 to coincide with National Liberation Day of Korea. The holiday, according to Wikipedia, is celebrated every year on August 15, in both South and North Korea, in commemoration of the victory over Japan, "when at the end of World War II, the U.S. and allied forces helped end 35 years of Japanese occupation and colonial rule of Korea, which lasted from 1910–1945." On social media, H1GHR MUSIC says the day "represents South Korea and its peoples’ perseverance, pride and courage." Sam Kim joins Ruel for a Live Performance of "Not Thinkin' Bout You"

16-year-old Australian singer Ruel took time out from his busy touring schedule recently to hit the small stage with Korean-American singer Sam Kim . Ruel was in South Korea for a March 21st concert. The two artists crooned out Ruel's song "Not Thinkin' Bout You," in a soulful dingo music LIVE performance. "Not Thinkin' Bout You" is off the teen's 2018 debut EP "Ready." Sam Kim also joined Ruel on the big stage during his actual "Ready" concert in Seoul.

South Korean rapper Coogie drops new single as contract with AOMG expires

South Korean artist Coogie dropped his new single "1,2,3,4,5" on January 23, 2025--the same day record label AOMG announced its exclusive contract with the rapper had come to an end. Coogie signed with AOMG in 2022. He was previously signed under hip-hop label ATMseoul. He became known for his sing-song melodic rap style after participating in the South Korean rap competition series Show Me The Money 777 in 2018. The translation to AOMG's post on X reads... "Hello, this is AOMG. We would like to inform you that Coogie's exclusive contract has ended on January 23, 2025. AOMG Welcomes Sogumm to the Label after her "Signhere" win on MBN

South Korean label AOMG (founded by Jay Park), now has two female artists. AOMG welcomed Sogumm to the team on October 31, after the final episode of Signhere on MBN. The singer took home first place, on the competition show. Her total scores for her performance beating out Meloh, Maddox and MBA. Sogumm joins Hoody, and a crew of popular male artists, as the second woman signed to AOMG. Hoody became the first female artist to sign to the hip-hop and R&B record label back in 2015. "All The Stars" from Kendrick Lamar and SZA - A Must Watch

It's just days before the release of the soundtrack for the movie Black Panther, and Kendrick Lamar has dropped the music video for his single with SZA from it, called "All the Stars." Lamar curated the soundtrack, and before you buy it, (it's out on Friday, Feb. 9), or before you see the film, (which hits theaters on Feb. 16), you have to see the visuals for "All the Stars" on YouTube. It's beautiful and starts off with Lamar, in a boat floating through a sea of people, and then features SZA dancing through a galaxy of stars that held the shape of Africa. We see beautiful children, men in suits, dancing and women with traditional African attire. The entire visual is stunning and powerful, and at one point we actually see Lamar walking through a forest surrounded by black panthers. The music video was directed by Dave Meyers & the little homies. You can check it out below.

Hip-hop/urban dancers, the Quick Style , aka the Quick Crew, in Oslo, Norway, have choreographed and created the Official Dance Video for the track "Jeg Er Lei Meg," a fun hip-hop song by Norwegian artists Karpe Diem, Arif and Unge Ferrari. The song is off their "Mars" EP. The Quick Crew consists of brothers Suleman Malik, Bilal Malik and their childhood friend Nasir Sirikhan. The dance video was uploaded to YouTube on February 3. LowLand crew member GUN from South Korea's STARSHIPX Entertainment delivers melodic lyrics from inside a glass aquarium while waiting on his love, in a new music video for his latest single. The track and blue tinted visual dropped on April 1st. It follows the rapper's previous release of "Red Light" with crew member Jhnovr in mid 2018.
