Yayoi Daimon is back with a new turn up. The Japanese artist dropped her latest song, "Rich or Dead," featuring Namichie on November 24. The track follows her single "MAKENNA," which hit streaming sites in October. Check out the new music below.

Central Cee drops debut album "Can't Rush Greatness"

After a decade in the game, London rapper Central Cee has returned with his debut album "Can't Rush Greatness." His 17-track release hit streaming sites on January 24 with fast flowing lyrics of reflection, introspection and flexes.  Features on the project include Young Miko, 21 Savage, Dave, Lil Durk and Lil Baby.  The album follows the success of his mixtapes "Wild West" in 2021 and "23" in 2022. The 26-year-old UK Drill artist has been recording music since 2015.

Mural of Rapper Dumbfoundead Vandalized

The iconic mural of rapper Dumbfoundead painted on the side of Catalina Liquor in Koreatown in Los Angeles, has been vandalized-- that's according to a social media post from the artist. A picture of the vandalism, shows letters spray painted across it. On July 16th, Dumbfoundead thanked painter Joseph Yun Lee and Catalina Liquor on Instagram for "wanting to keep the mural up as long as they did."  The mural was originally painted for the rapper's 2016 music video "Murals," a visual off his "We Might Die" album. Last year, he tweeted that he was getting a least one tagged photo a day from fans who had taken a picture in front of it. Dumbfoundead is now asking fans to send pictures or videos they had taken in front of the mural to muralsforever@gmail.com or tag him, so he can use the images in a video.   Looking for a new summer jam? Check out DJ SHAUN's electric dance track, "Thinking Of" featuring rapper OVAN and singer SUMIN. The single is the title track off his first solo mini album, "TAKE." The vocal EDM artist is known for his skill with synthesizers, and is a member of the South Korean indie rock band, The KOXX (which formed in 2009). SHAUN's EP dropped on June 27, along with a music video for "Thinking Of (생각나)." The mv features two beautiful women enjoying themselves at the beach and elsewhere, and also includes OVAN on the mic. Just Jerk Crew Performs During Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony

We're only two months in, and 2018 has already been a good year for Just Jerk Crew. They are the featured backup dancers in the official music video for Jay Park and Yultron's "Forget About Tomorrow," and they just recently announced the opening of their new dance academy in South Korea. The popular urban dance team from Seoul, has been making moves together since 2010, and has even competed on America's Got Talent, season 12. Now, the group is getting even more international recognition, after performing live during the Opening Ceremony for the Winter Olympics in PyeongChang. The group has shared a clip of the performance on Instagram, and some of the members have even shared behind the scenes group photos. Seattle Hip-Hop Artist Gifted Gab drops new R&B single - "That Way" for her Birthday

For her birthday on February 21, Seattle rapper Gifted Gab shared a taste of what's to come off her forthcoming album, "Cause And Effect." She dropped her R&B single off it - "That Way." The song, a track which has Gifted Gab singing about a love that's not quite working out. According to her post on Instagram, her upcoming album will be released on April 20th. It's her sixth project. She captioned on Instagram, that the album is produced by Antwon Vinson, and will be "half rap, half R&B and absolutely no features." Gifted Gab recently teamed up with fellow Seattle artist (AOMG & H1GHR MUSIC co-CEO) Jay Park for a game of  Fear Pong . South Korean rapper Coogie drops new single as contract with AOMG expires

South Korean artist Coogie dropped his new single "1,2,3,4,5" on January 23, 2025--the same day record label AOMG announced its exclusive contract with the rapper had come to an end. Coogie signed with AOMG in 2022.  He was previously signed under hip-hop label ATMseoul. He became known for his sing-song melodic rap style after participating in the South Korean rap competition series Show Me The Money 777 in 2018.  The translation to AOMG's post on X reads... "Hello, this is AOMG. We would like to inform you that Coogie's exclusive contract has ended on January 23, 2025. South African singer-songwriter Tyla is one of the hottest rising stars of 2023. She's currently taking over social media with her TikTok viral dance challenge from her latest single- “Water.” The song hit streaming sites in July. The official music video arrived on YouTube on October 6. It's currently (as of this writing) trending #26 on the site with nearly 13 million views.  According to Billboard, “Water” has also climbed to #1 on Billboard’s U.S. Afrobeats Songs Chart, dated Oct. 21-- stopping the record 58-week streak from Rema and Selena Gomez’s “Calm Down,” which had led the list since Sept. 10, 2022. “Water” marks Tyla's first top spot on any Billboard chart.  The 21-year-old Johannesburg native debuted with her first music video: "Getting Late," featuring Kooldrink in 2021. Kpop group ENHYPEN earns new fans with American television "Loose" debut performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live

On the night of Thursday, April 10, South Korean boy band ENHYPEN hit the stage on ABC's  Jimmy Kimmel Live with body rolls and screaming young kpop fans in the studio audience, as they performed their new English language single "Loose," for their American television debut. The performance left an impression on the television viewing audience across the country, with at least one viewer calling into an ABC local news station in Kentucky well after midnight, inquiring about the name of the group.  The excited viewer asked the morning show news producer who picked up the phone, questions about where to find information about ENHYPEN, and where exactly the group was from.  After the producer explained the kpop genre to the viewer, and shared information on how to find the performance on the Jimmy Kimmel Live YouTube channel, the caller then encouraged the producer to watch the performance herself, in which she later did, thus becoming a new fan of the group as well. ...

"All The Stars" from Kendrick Lamar and SZA - A Must Watch

It's just days before the release of the soundtrack for the movie Black Panther, and Kendrick Lamar has dropped the music video for his single with SZA from it, called "All the Stars."  Lamar curated the soundtrack, and before you buy it, (it's out on Friday, Feb. 9), or before you see the film, (which hits theaters on Feb. 16), you have to see the visuals for "All the Stars" on YouTube. It's beautiful and starts off with Lamar, in a boat floating through a sea of people, and then features SZA dancing through a galaxy of stars that held the shape of Africa. We see beautiful children, men in suits, dancing and women with traditional African attire. The entire visual is stunning and powerful, and at one point we actually see Lamar walking through a forest surrounded by black panthers. The music video was directed by Dave Meyers & the little homies. You can check it out below.
