New Music: Yayoi Daimon - "Rich or Dead" feat. Namichie

Yayoi Daimon is back with a new turn up. The Japanese artist dropped her latest song, "Rich or Dead," featuring Namichie on November 24. The track follows her single "MAKENNA," which hit streaming sites in October. Check out the new music below.

Mural of Rapper Dumbfoundead Vandalized

The iconic mural of rapper Dumbfoundead painted on the side of Catalina Liquor in Koreatown in Los Angeles, has been vandalized-- that's according to a social media post from the artist. A picture of the vandalism, shows letters spray painted across it. On July 16th, Dumbfoundead thanked painter Joseph Yun Lee and Catalina Liquor on Instagram for "wanting to keep the mural up as long as they did."  The mural was originally painted for the rapper's 2016 music video "Murals," a visual off his "We Might Die" album. Last year, he tweeted that he was getting a least one tagged photo a day from fans who had taken a picture in front of it. Dumbfoundead is now asking fans to send pictures or videos they had taken in front of the mural to muralsforever@gmail.com or tag him, so he can use the images in a video. New Michael Jackson Tribute Video from Jason Derulo, LAY & NCT 127 - "Let's Shut Up and Dance"

In a video dedicated to Michael Jackson, American singer Jason Derulo teamed up with South Korean SM Entertainment kpop idols-- NCT 127 and LAY (from kpop group EXO). The collaboration for "Let's Shut Up and Dance" hit YouTube on February 21st, and the single hit music streaming sites on the 22nd. The song is the first single off a four-track EP titled "The Greatest Dancer," dedicated to the late King of Pop. According to the The Korea Times , the mini-album will be released on June 25, which marks the 10th anniversary of Jackson's death. The new music video from Jason Derulo, LAY and NCT 127 shows the global stars dancing Michael Jackson signature moves, as they sing shout-outs to women from around the world. Fans still have questions about ECÂF after the release of Ruel's new single & MV - "Face To Face"

(Updated September 10) - Ruel has dropped the Behind The Scenes video for "Face To Face." On Sept. 10, he revealed that the actress portraying ECÂF in the music video and on Twitter, is named Tatiana. And the person who sings the vocals for her single release, "Pictures," is actually Ruel's sister Coco. Original Post (08/11/19) ... Rapper Dok2 talks about working with Jay Park and G-Dragon (from BIGBANG) in Ep. 31 of "Fun With Dumb"

Illionaire Records co-founder Dok2 is a pioneer in the South Korean hip-hop industry, but he rarely gives interviews. Lucky for fans, the rapper sat down on two separate occasions recently to talk about his life and the rise of hip-hop in South Korea. The first interview was for the March 7th face to face with rapper Snacky Chan for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod."   The second was for American rapper Dumbfoundead's March 20th (ep. 31) podcast of "Fun With Dumb." During the podcast, Dok2 provided a mini-history lesson for anyone interested in South Korean hip-hop. Beginning with his early rise, the rapper says he's been making moves in the industry since 2002 when he was 12-years-old. A lot of good music was released on Monday, July 24. Groovy Room dropped their EP 'EVERYWHERE,' including the track 'Sunday' with Jay Park and Heize. 88rising dropped a song on their YouTube channel, "TURN ME DOWN" from Jess Connelly​, writing that the soulful singer is heating up the Manila underground. Also released today,  the duo OFFONOFF dropped their album "boy" along with two music videos on YouTube, 'Gold' with Dean, and 'Dance.' The track 'Dance' is today's Song Of The Day. Former 'K-pop Star 5' Singer - Lexie Liu - Now Signed with 88rising

U.S. media company, 88rising, announced a new addition to their label on June 19, with a tweet that read, "Introducing Lexie Liu Boxin to the 88rising gang." The tweet included a link to Lexie Liu's new video, "Like A Mercedes," which dropped on the 88rising YouTube channel. The 19-year-old singer-songwriter from China, might be a familiar face for some kpop fans. According to media reports, in 2015, she participated in K-pop Star 5 , a South Korean competition show, where agencies hold auditions to find potential kpop stars. She came in fourth place, and was offered a deal with one of the largest entertainment companies in South Korea, YG Entertainment, but she later declined. The singer's debut single and mv for 88rising, "Like A Mercedes," centers around a cyberpunk virtual reality storyline, with R&B and melodic hip-hop sounds in English and Chinese. The Full First LIVE Performance of Kris Wu & Travis Scott - "Deserve" - It's Fire!

If you're sitting down, just go ahead and stand up and get ready to move, because once you see this full clip of Kris Wu's and Travis Scott's first live performance of their new single "Deserve," you won't be able to sit still. According to Wu's social media posts on October 13, the two took over New York City (at the Up&Down Club), during the release party for "DESERVE."  And their hip-hop performance is banging hot!  When Scott introduces Wu on stage, he says "It's time to get ratchet,"  and the two turn up for real. Members from the South Korean hip-hop crew Kiff Clan, are dropping bars in a new DF LIVE ​/ Dingo FreeStyle upload on YouTube. The video (out on Oct. 1) is for crew member Yenjamin's track "Placebo," (produced by Junior Chef) from his double single release "Travel on My Mind." Kiff Clan crew consists of Yenjamin, Vinxen, WEBSTER B, Young Kay, Mayer Soo, a.mond, Woong and HAON (who is not in the video). NEW NAME FOR BTS MEMBER (formerly Rap Monster)

The leader of the super popular kpop group BTS, from South Korea, has officially changed his name. Kim Nam-joon previously known as Rap Monster, has changed his stage name to RM. The announcement was published on the BTS official fan cafe on November 13.  RM wrote on it, that although he's been called Rap Monster for the past five years, he felt the need to change it, because that title was   getting more and more distant from the music done for the past 5 years.                                                                    -RM (via allkpop)    Back on September 19, 2017, Rap Monster announced on his Beats1Noisey Interview that he would be changing his name to RM.
