CONCERT WATCH: Bruno Mars Adds New Opening Acts to '24K Magic World Tour' - Ella Mai, Ciara, Boyz II Men and Charlie Wilson

In a hilarious photoshopped Instagram video post on August 14, funk singer Bruno Mars announced a lineup of special guests to replace Cardi B on the final leg of the 24K Magic World Tour. The decision to add the four new acts comes after Cardi B dropped out of the tour in late July after giving birth to her daughter.

Hitting the stage at various points during the U.S. stops, will be Ciara, Ella Mai, Boyz II Men and Charlie Wilson. Each will perform as openers for a number of shows, beginning with Boyz II Men in Denver, Colorado on September 7th.

The 24K Magic World Tour began in early 2017, and will end in November (2018) with three homecoming shows in Hawaii. More information can be found on the Bruno Mars website.

Rapper GUN is trapped inside an "AQUARIUM" in new single and MV release

LowLand crew member GUN from South Korea's STARSHIPX Entertainment delivers melodic lyrics from inside a glass aquarium while waiting on his love, in a new music video for his latest single. The track and blue tinted visual dropped on April 1st. It follows the rapper's previous release of "Red Light" with crew member Jhnovr in mid 2018. New Michael Jackson Tribute Video from Jason Derulo, LAY & NCT 127 - "Let's Shut Up and Dance"

In a video dedicated to Michael Jackson, American singer Jason Derulo teamed up with South Korean SM Entertainment kpop idols-- NCT 127 and LAY (from kpop group EXO). The collaboration for "Let's Shut Up and Dance" hit YouTube on February 21st, and the single hit music streaming sites on the 22nd. The song is the first single off a four-track EP titled "The Greatest Dancer," dedicated to the late King of Pop. According to the The Korea Times , the mini-album will be released on June 25, which marks the 10th anniversary of Jackson's death. Mural of Rapper Dumbfoundead Vandalized

The iconic mural of rapper Dumbfoundead painted on the side of Catalina Liquor in Koreatown in Los Angeles, has been vandalized-- that's according to a social media post from the artist. A picture of the vandalism, shows letters spray painted across it. On July 16th, Dumbfoundead thanked painter Joseph Yun Lee and Catalina Liquor on Instagram for "wanting to keep the mural up as long as they did."  The mural was originally painted for the rapper's 2016 music video "Murals," a visual off his "We Might Die" album. Last year, he tweeted that he was getting a least one tagged photo a day from fans who had taken a picture in front of it. Dumbfoundead is now asking fans to send pictures or videos they had taken in front of the mural to muralsforever@gmail.com or tag him, so he can use the images in a video. NEW NAME FOR BTS MEMBER (formerly Rap Monster)

The leader of the super popular kpop group BTS, from South Korea, has officially changed his name. Kim Nam-joon previously known as Rap Monster, has changed his stage name to RM. Rapper Dok2 talks about working with Jay Park and G-Dragon (from BIGBANG) in Ep. 31 of "Fun With Dumb"

Illionaire Records co-founder Dok2 is a pioneer in the South Korean hip-hop industry, but he rarely gives interviews. Lucky for fans, the rapper sat down on two separate occasions recently to talk about his life and the rise of hip-hop in South Korea. The first interview was for the March 7th face to face with rapper Snacky Chan for Chan's YouTube series - "Undergod."   The second was for American rapper Dumbfoundead's March 20th (ep. 31) podcast of "Fun With Dumb." During the podcast, Dok2 provided a mini-history lesson for anyone interested in South Korean hip-hop. Beginning with his early rise, the rapper says he's been making moves in the industry since 2002 when he was 12-years-old. South Korean Hip-Hop label Hi-Lite Records Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Compilation Album “Legacy”

It's been ten years since South Korean rapper Paloalto founded hip-hop label Hi-Lite Records. During the decade of its rise, the label signed a number of talented popular rappers who have come and gone. Former artists include Keith Ape, B-Free, Okasian, Evo, GLV and G2.  Current artists with Hi-Lite include Reddy, YunB, Swervy, Pinodyne (Huckleberry P & Soul Fish) and others. In 2015, a partnership with entertainment company CJ E&M was announced to help with global marketing.  Now, to celebrate ten years of going strong, the label has released its tenth anniversary compilation album titled “Legacy.” The project dropped on streaming sites on August 16, with an official music video for the pop-rock track "Kid Rock," featuring Paloalto, jerd, Reddy and Soovi.   The song is a departure from what fans are used to, and it's even a departure from most of the other songs on the new album. British singer Jay Sean has released the official music video for his new single "With You," featuring Gucci Mane and Asian Doll. The Jamar Harding directed visual dropped on April 1st, and in it, there's a lot of booty. The video shows girls in bikinis and balaclavas riding down the road on two-wheel scooters. Jay Park Announces new H1GHR MUSIC Artist - Seo Donghyun a.k.a. Big Naughty

During the second and final day of his 2019  Off Route Fest in South Korea, co-CEO/entertainer Jay Park announced the newest member of his second label- H1GHR MUSIC, as rapper/singer Seo Donghyun a.k.a. Big Naughty. Park introduced the young artist on stage, on Oct. 6, in front of a crowd of thousands of people at the music festival, and later posted video of the moment to Instagram. According to Park, Donghyun is now the youngest member of the label (previously that title went to rapper Haon). Big Naughty was a contestant on season eight of the popular South Korean rap competition program - Show Me The Money (SMTM). He was eliminated in the semi-finals.
